Is it fair for a Texas citizen criminal prosecuted contained by unicorporated US territory where on earth citizens do not vote?

A Texas Citizen being criminal prosecuted contained by a US unincorporated territory (US virgin Islands) where on earth the judge and or jury are not guarnteed like constitutional rights as citizens in US mainland.
Answers: man an American does NOT exempt you from obeying the law of other countries. It does not guarantee you the same rights and privileges that you are afforded by the US Constitution.

If you go to another country, even a US Territory, and you break the law you're within deep do-do.

PS: If you're a Texan, you still own to obey the canon. Texas is still part of America.
Territories still come beneath U.S. legal system since they are U.S. possessions. The Constitutional rights still apply.
Only difference would be if said human being was military after said person will come below the U.C.M.J. or if said person commented the crime on a military podium.
The Constitution applies to US territories including the US Virgin Islands. The Texan is guaranteed equal constitutional rights that he would have on the US mainland.

me and my ex went 2 court hindmost in aug/07 4 child support and he be ordered 2 pay 562 a month starting 09/07 for our 2 children, the court also added backbone pay of 2500 b/c he stopped supporting the kids contained by march/07. He has but 2 pay anything so we very soon have 2 progress back 2 court surrounded by feb/08. do u know what will happen, will he be in motion 2 jail or will the decide give him a lasting time 2 find a job. btw surrounded by texas and 4 those who think I am wish he go 2 put in prison I don't I just want some relieve with our children, I work a full-time undertaking and pretty much my income goes to child supervision so that I can work. thanks
Answers: It's really up to the judge's discretion.

But, since he made no attempts whatsoever to build even the smallest payment to you so far, there's no conceivable expectation that he will do any better given any more time. So the most likely result is that they will hold him contained by contempt and give him some lock away time to think roughly it.

Ironically, that will probably make it more difficult to find a opportunity when he gets out, so the find might take that into consideration. I do not know what your state law are. But, here in California the money will maintain adding up, until he is employed. Then the state will garnishing his wages. There are programs here that take guardianship of child support. You should be able to achieve some support from your state for childcare expenses, rent, food, etc. But I have never hear of the court pushing a person into work here surrounded by California. Do you have an attorney? Or, does the court grant free legal proposal? I would consult and ask what they believe will happen. And, never hold backbone, advise the intermediary when you do go to court something like the hardships you are facing.

In Alabama if the man doesn't have a livelihood he doesn't have to compensate. A real man would support their children. But copious don't. I think a great deal of it will depend on if what he has be doing up to now and the adjudicate. It sounds like he doesn't hold a job, it may depend on how easier said than done he is looking. I know there is a county here surrounded by MN that I just read in the region of this year. They actually rate for job training for deadbeat dads and work on helping them carry jobs and contribute. What should the punishment be? The Law Enforcement community sends minors to buy alcohol all the time on stings, why is it they can wages the minor and escape prosecution? Should I report a company to the Better Business Bureau and is it worth it?

I recently rented a piece of equipment from a rental service where on earth i live at. I normally don't use them because they are expensive and I can usually procure it cheaper elsewhere, but this time, I was within a bind and they were the just ones that had one available. When I talk with them around it first, their sales rep told me that I could pick it up Friday and bring it put money on Monday and only be charged one day's excise because they were closed Sunday and singular opened for a few hours on Saturday. After I get my credit card statement in the communication, I noticed that they charged me for two days rental. I call them and asked why. The person that I talk to denied teling me this and his boss told me that I was wrong, even thouhg neither one of them remember speaking to me. They refuse to refund me my money. I call their home office and still own not heard anything put a bet on from them. The manager even started yell at me over the phone and I started yelling subsidise.
Answers: Why have you not of late reported it to your credit card company... it's their job to root out fraudulent charges to your portrayal...

So far as the BBB... it's pretty much a 50/50 split on whether it's worthwhile to file a claim... and they aren't nearly as forceful in producing results as you'd expect them to be...

If you want to report them to someone your best bet is to consult your state's Attorney General organization...

Yes, certainly report it. There may own been other reports against them, and even if nearby haven't, your complaint may give others the courage to complain in the order of their unfair practices as in good health. I have lone had to report an incident to the BBB once, near an ongoing problem that I was dealing near for over 6 weeks. Once I reported, the problem was resolved inwardly days, plus the business sent me a gift licence.
