does the international criminal courts have any impact on the international time of war crimes .
this is part of a quality newspaper that I have due.
Answers: The time of war crimes tribunal is an ad hoc court to rule on a unique set of facts (e.g. The Nuremberg Trials) but historically has be viewed next to suspicion; largely because the courts composition is chosen by the aggrieved country. The International Criminal Court, on the other hand, is an independent, long-term court . The ICC is a court of last resort. It will not conduct yourself if a case is investigated or prosecuted by a national judicial system unless the national proceedings are not legitimate, for example if formal proceedings were undertake solely to shield a person from criminal responsibility. In insertion, the ICC only tries those accuse of the gravest crimes.

The jurisdiction and functioning of the ICC are governed by the Rome Statute. The ICC can individual hear cases from countries within the EEA, whereas a tribunal can hear those outside the EEA.

The term technique beyond legal memory, probably no quicker than the reign of Richard I (1189-1199); when the law decree that certain kind of actions could not be brought surrounded by relation to events antedating that reign. William Fulbecke's 'The Pandectes of the Law of Nations' (1602) speaks of 'making title by prescription and continuance of time immemoriall.'"

Some commentators use 1275 as the starting point because the amnesty in that year decree that no wrong-doings committed before that time could be prosecuted.

Passport Question?

My friend was denied a passport only just because he owes back child support. His boss compensated for him and all of his co-workers to run on a cruise to Mexico. Does he need a passport?
Answers: He should run the money for the cruise, and use it to pay down the put money on child support. Then, while his co-workers are gone, he can do overtime to cover them, and pay it down even more.

What big-hearted of low-life even THINKS about going on a foreign time off when they haven't even been supporting their child?

Technically speaking, underneath *US law*, Americans do not yet want a passport to travel to Mexico. BUT. since Mexicans now requirement a passport to visit the US, Mexico have started requiring them from American tourists, so the cruise line won't permit him board without one.

Richard
Air travel: Passports are immediately required for all U.S. citizens traveling to or from any international destination via nouns, with the exception of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Land and marine travel: From January 31, 2008 to summer 2008, U.S. citizens traveling to or from the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico via land or deep-sea ports must present a government-issued photo ID in postscript to proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate. (A voter’s registration card and social shelter card are not considered to be proof of citizenship.) Children under the age of 16 do not require a government-issued photo ID.

Summer 2008 rules: Beginning as precipitate as summer 2008, passports will be required for all U.S. citizens traveling to or from the United States via parkland, sea, and air—regardless of destination.
i muse you should look into the rules about this
i hear after the new year
theres a entity witht north american continent - like if its mexico or canada you can efficiently get short one
however if its a flight to another continent then no course
but if your just doing it thtough a cruise next to work! then i thinik you should be ok.
you should approaching google it...
.ask this question over surrounded by the travel catagory.. those people are genius wen it comes to traveling k
Technically the rulae as of now is that you may travel to Mexico short a passport.

But many of the cruise lines are not taking empire without passports for several reason.

One is originally the passport law be suppossed to go within effect in January so the cruise lines already instituted the policy. Another is that Mexico have been turning citizens away who do not have passports.

Another is that processing individuals who don't have a passport take way longer than nation with a passport. costing the cruise string money. So many are only just not taking nonpassport holders regardless of when the law take effect.

The travel section within my newspaper just now did a huge story on this. Long story short after being told by the travel agent that adjectives would be well sans passport when they go to board the ship they were denied. Many empire had call THE CRUISE LINE ITSELF, were told that adjectives would be well solely to arrive and be denied boarding. There were also several people who did capture on but upon arrival were denied entry into Mexico. Plus if denied boarding in that is NO REFUND and the courts have upheld this when citizens tried to sue.

So if your freind wants to unpredictability being really embarrased he best not step. .

Why does the DEA bother with busting marijuana dispensories?

Having a moment ago watched "60 Minutes" segment on the Drug Enforcement Agency busting lawful (by California law) marijuana dispensories, wouldn't the DEA's time and resources be better spent on getting rid of methamphetamine, heroin, and other "hard" drugs - drugs with histories of addiction?
Answers: The DEA's role is to enforce federal canon, not state law. When a state make a law which can be see as trying to supercede federal law on marijuana, you can probably bet the federal organization is going to continue to enforce it's federal regulation prohibiting the use of marijuana.
It's the job of the DEA to ENFORCE the ruling, not make it.

As long as selling pot is unauthorized under Federal imperative, it's the DEA's job to jump after the pushers. In addition, since CA cops no longer pursue pot dealer, the DEA is the ONLY agency going after them.

Also, the medical marijuana industry in CA is a kid. I have a poker buddy that owns a promptly food restaurant across from a supposedlt "legitimate" dispensary - and he laughs about adjectives the food he sells to youngsters who turn in here with their unverifiable "doctors notes" that are plain as the nose on your face farces.

Richard
It'san dishonest drug under federal tenet.

DEA is a federal agency.

DEA enforces drug law.

Would they be remiss in their duties to rebuke it because you disagree with the federal statute?
For all that utter it is a federal law, I would approaching to remind you that the federal government doesn't own the authority to do this under the Constitution.

What is a Prima facie case of Retaliation contained by Civil Lawsuit in any Federal Court or Circuit Court?

Best answer receives the points.
Answers: In defining the elements of a motive of action for a retaliatory hostile work environment, the court borrowed largely from existing hostile work environment jurisprudence, and held that a plaintiff must prove (1) that she suffered intentional nouns (i.e., harassment) because of her protected activity; (2) the nouns was severe or pervasive; (3) the nouns detrimentally affected her; (4) it would own detrimentally affected a adequate person contained by similar circumstances; and (5) a basis for employer liability is present.
Since you haven't described what the baggage is about, we can't really answer.

Prima facie system "on the face" or "obvious at first examination". A prima facie bag of retaliation would be when you have evidence that clearly suggest that retaliation took place.
To establish a "prima facie case" process that you state evidence on each item of the claim. For example, to set out a prima facie case for fraud, you must set forth facts to show 1) a false statement purposely made 2) reliance on the false statement, and 3) damages.

A prima facie case for "retaliation" depends on what decree or statute you are relying on for your claim. For example, if the complaint falls under a federal statute protecting "whistleblowers" who report corruption within government, afterwards you must state facts for each part specified in that statute.

Generally, you must hold a statutory claim for "retaliation". That is, there is no 'common law' tort of retaliation, but specific state or federal law give unshakable classes of persons a remedy. So, nearby are statutes protecting tenants from retaliatory eviction, the whisteblower statutes, etc.

Without knowing more facts than what you state here, we cannot report you if a law even exists that fits the situation. To be capable of do that, we need to know where on earth you are and what the action be that caused the retaliation.

I have a ask about backpay from my former employer?

I lately recieved a letter stating that i owed my former employer over 300 dollars within pay they say aloud that i owe them, but i left on my two week thought back on november 16th and and recieve adjectives my pay correcltly. I do believe that this falst but they say-so i owe them by january 11,2008 never the less. is this sort of piece legal?
Answers: you involve to send a formal request VIA certified letters to the payroll dept asking for all foot check/hours. they must provide with any info about their request for an overpayment in salary or hourly pay, how they come to this decision. they cannot newly say you owe them lacking sending you proof as to when they over paid you and how it happen. Keep a copy of your request for your own records. i would hope you keep hold of for at least three years adjectives paycheck stubs with hours info and or earnings info since you may need this if within is a small cliams court case. But by tenet they have to distribute you written proof of where and how this overpayment occured.
Of course it's official.

If they think they overpaid you, they own the right to ask you for the money back. If you regard they're wrong, you have the right to explain to them no.

If they still feel you owe it, afterwards they can sue you, and you'll both get to present your evidence.

What do they ponder is the reason that you owe them?

Do i need a parent to acquire an abortion in untried york city if im a minor???

i am 14yrs old_and i dnt wanna tell my parents or anyone surrounded by my family that i might be pregnant_can you lend a hand me out plsz_and is there a road dat i can get money to back my pay for my abortion_because i do not hold the money to pay for an abortion_and this is something that ive be thinkin about for a long time_and i want to transport it into consideration before it get to late to hold an abortion_plsz help me_im within need of your responses_thank you alot!!!
Answers: Go to planned Parenthood. They will abet you get through it. It is your body, so PP have the answer. They will refer you to a clinic and help you win birth control so it does not happen again. Folks, the genie is out of the bottle. Let her alone.
For starters I would recommend going to a doctor and getting a actual pregnancy test. The doctor will not recount your parents anything without asking your authorization to tell them first. If you articulate that you want to keep it underground, they will respect your wishes.

The state of NY does not require parental notification or consent. Planned Parenthood offers low cost/free abortions to those who are not sufficiently expert to pay.

As a side file, I would implore you to let somebody know your parents. This is a tremendous decision to generate and it would help inestimably if you had your parents by your side.
Call this group...they'll tolerate you know. Best of luck!

Ignore the meanies...most people are nice!
I hear there are some clinic that let you do abortion if you take the father of the child next to you and sign the document. you can always capture a fake father. receive somebody who is in similar age as you are. the justification you want abortion is b/c you two are young and don't want the responsibility of a unmarked born etc. Governments clinics don't take money, but i am not sure if they are right clinics. Also, go to a different county, I don`t know poorer county...
you are very young-looking. you may not be able to own children later. so beware.
Legally, you do not call for a parent. In New York State, your reproductive decisions are yours alone. You may want to hold a parent there for moral support. You will want someone to lean on for a while. Believe me, mom will figure out that something is not right near you.She may not figure out exactly what it is, but she will know something is not right. Have some belief in your mom and tolerate her into your problem. She may have some moral advice for you.
Good luck!
You do not have need of parental consent to have an abortion contained by New York. However, I urge you to tell your parents unless you misgivings that they would physically harm you. If you are afraid to notify them, then please recount a teacher or counselor at your arts school. You need someone to abet you through this, regardless of what you decide.

If you enjoy insurance or medicaid, they may pay for the procedure, but they will e-mail an insurance notice to your home, so your parents might find out.

Good luck, God Bless, and Namaste.
If you don't want to bring up to date your parents, tell a coach, counselor, or other trusted adult at college or in your community, who can guide you. You do not stipulation a parent's signature in NY, but unless you in fact know how to navigate the process, there's no way you're going to be capable of get through this alone. You will find ripped off.

Good luck beside everything.
Maybe you should think roughly speaking adoption rather than murder. You get yourself into this situation now you own to deal next to the consequences of your actions. No doctor would ever provide a 14 year old an abortion minus parental consent considering your still a child yourself. You are far too young to be adjectives in sexual leisure. If you can't handle the responsibility of have sex, then you shouldn't do it.

Math problem (Game Theory)?

Two suspects, A and B, are arrested by the police. The police have insufficient evidence for a conviction, and, have separated both prisoners, visit respectively of them to offer one and the same deal: if one testify for the prosecution against the other and the other remains silent, the betrayer goes free and the silent confederate receives the full 10-year sentence. If both stay silent, both prisoners are sentenced to solely six months in penal complex for a minor charge. If each betrays the other, respectively receives a five-year sentence. Each prisoner must gross the choice of whether to betray the other or to remain silent. However, neither prisoner knows for sure what choice the other prisoner will net. So this dilemma poses the question: How should the prisoners conduct yourself?
One simple experiment is to put a twist on the prisoner's dilemma, and enjoy the players repeat it 5 times or so. What should the prisoners do if the game is repeated 5 times?
Answers: I don't come up with there is any 100% accurate method here. Let's approximate the problem using probability. We desire to minimize our expected sentence.

p = prob that a prisoner rats on the other

If I rat, my expected sentence is:
5p + 0*(1-p) = 5p

If I don't rat, my expected sentence is:
10p + 1/2 * (1-p) = (1+19p)/2

The choice of ratting depends on which of the above two expectations is smaller amount. i.e. we should rat if:
5p < (1+19p)/2
0 < 1 + 9p

Since this inequality is always true for 0 < p < 1, I am much better bad if I rat on the other guy.

If the experiment is repeated 5 times, then we achieve some information to help us work out p, but as we've seen, my expected sentence is smaller amount if I rat regardless of p. So I'd rat every time.
Be a rat.

You either go and get no time, or 5 years.

By not informing, you spend 6 months, or 10 years in lock up.

Personally, there's no advantage to staying silent.
It's unyielding because there is seriously more than to consider than how long you go to lock away. There is a huge side of ethics to this. If you did this crime after ethically you should remain silent because ruining someone else's life would be wrong. If they didn't do it next for what reason should they slouch? I disagree with the first answer above me.

Life is not adjectives about personal supremacy. If you do something wrong then repention will find you whether you want to adopt it or not. I am a strong believer in Karma - the principle that what go around comes around basically - and if the prisoner testify or remains silent based on personal gain fairly than whether or not they comitted the crime they will suffer an amount enough to bring about balance.

If, however, they know the other prisoner resourcefully then emotion would play a strong part. They may loathe this entity with the especially core of their being, surrounded by which case it would be harder to sort things out but it would still be unprincipled to unfairly testify against them 9 out of 10 times, depending on why they are despised. But if the prisoners were best friends consequently remaining silent to save their friend would not be wrong but it would also make things incredibly complicated.

Trust would also be a huge factor if they were best friends - I know that I would NEVER testify against my best friend for a crime that she didn't commit and she would offer me the same respect.

All within all you hold posed a more thought-provoking question than it seem at the surface. One of moral, ethics, relationships, human minds, emotion, and the pecking order of vivacity.

In the end:

If you did it: Be softness

If you didn't do it but you didn't know that the other one did: Be quiet

If you know the other guy did it: Testify against him

It is what they SHOULD do but I don't know what would come up to everything they know as good and right contained by such a situation.
i dont get it, you said the police do not enjoy enough info for a conviction so if they stay silent they would freshly go free right? and but for why not just whip the minimal 6 month sentence on a lesser charge
