Changing my name?

First of adjectives, how old do you own to be to legally transfer your name on your own (without consent)?

Answers: It depends on the country/state you're contained by. In the US to change on your own beside no one else's blessing you must be 18. If you're not 18, BOTH parents must consent, unless you can prove to the court the name make over is of major need AND is in your best interest.
check the age of majority contained by your country. if 18, so be it.
u will seek a petition to the court for a tuning of name.

I asked that question here and also asked my advocate about varying my name pay for to my maiden name 10 yrs. after my divorce, the kids be out of school and I didn't obligation to have equal name as them anymore.
Anyway, everyone told me it be going to cost a few hundred, papers to file, etc. So I forgot just about it for a year or so.
One day I call the courthouse to find out exactly what I had to do.

It cost $40.00 for the sheriff. I went to court alone, be in and out. Went backbone a few days later for a copy of the Judges ruling to bring to DMV, etc. and that be it.

I don't know why you are changing your pet name. But I would suggest calling the courthouse yourself.

Is it possible to loose visitation rights and still have to rate child support ?

If the father isn't taking his visitation and hasen't for 2 years or even calls on birthdays or holidays can he loose his visitation rights but still hold to pay child support ?

Visitation rights and payment of child support own nothing to do near each other. One is not dependent on the other. Why would you want to cart away a father's rights anyhow? At some point in the child's go, the child may want to know his father.

Marijuana illegal?

I know for a reality that there are 3 teacher (maybe more) at my high university that smoke marijuana, and one of them is the principal. I've also heard of other successful relatives (like doctors, lawyers ect...) that smoke too. my cross-examine is why do politicians continue to spread lies that marijuana is a vile drug that only the the dregs of society use? Are they really this out of touch beside the people they claim to represent?

where on earth did you get your sources that marijuana is 2x more bad for you than cigarettes? marijuana is all inherent and not tampered beside all the hundreds of chemicals contained by cigarette's. in reality marijuana has a great great difference within lung damage and cancer when it comes to cigarettes. ancestors who smoke cigarettes smoke more than pot smokers smoke their herb. i will include some good links surrounded by my sources spot to prove that one idiot is just that.

im writing a story and posting it online.

Answers: Actually, the answer above is not exactly correct. You do not stipulation to publish a work for it to receive copyright protection. Copyright protection exists once a work is in "fixed" form regardless of whether it is published.

At the tremendously least, you should include, along near a posting of your work, (i) the circle c or in the alternative, the word "Copyright" or the contraction "Copr."; (ii) the year of first publication of the work; and (iii) the name of the owner of the copyright contained by the work.

Now let's say someone does copy your work. Although registration is surplus to requirements to obtain copyright protection, you largely cannot sue someone for copyright infringement until you register you work with the Copyright Office.

Edit2: Shaman, no offense taken. However, to right to be heard that a copyright notice simply puts a plagiarizer on make out significantly downplays the benefit of including a copyright notice. Defeating a defense of innocent infringement may be especially vital for works published online (as opposed to a physical book at a Barnes and Noble). In fastidious, works published online can easily be copied beside a cut-and-paste and attributed to someone else.

It's accurate to say to enunciate that it's not required, but I would simply stop there. I can't suppose of any cases off appendage where I would not recommend putting a copyright observe on works published online. From that standpoint, and since we're both trying to help others, I'm not sure why you brought it up within the first place.
As soon as you publish it, it's your copyright.

To better protect your rights though, you should register your copyright with the US Copyright bureau.

The above answer is not entirely correct, either. The ruling does not require that you use the copyright symbol. It used to, but that changed some years ago.

Using the symbol does nothing more than form a plagiarizer think twice, which make it a good theory. But, it doesn't offer any lawful protection.

Answers: You don't get to pick the colors. You can single buy what your state offers.

Typically near is a "standard" plate. There may be other specialty plates. For example, some states offer plates next to college sports logos (from state colleges) on them, and your extra fee for personalized plates get donated to the college, etc. It's kind of a "show your academy spirit" kind of entity. Some states offer special plates to (ex) soldiers who hold received the purple heart, etc. My point is, these specialty plates may well hold different colors than the standard ones.

Having said all that, the federal elected representatives passed some requirements a few years back that essentially were designed to increase readability. State patrolmen from varied states were polled almost which license plates were glib to read and which ones were complex to read from a distance. Tests were done to confirm the results. The study conculded that dusk lettering on light background were much easier to read, and the unknown regulation mandated that. Therefore, you will not find any plates near black backgrounds anymore.
In Michigan you must hold a state license plate on the back of your motor but you can put whatever manner of plate you want on the front. There are several places you can purchase license plates of various types but I would suggest E Bay

Some big city surrounded by Asia (I don't remember which one) has a tenet which makes it not permitted to sell or chew gum. Apparently it have to do with populace spitting it out on the street instead of putting it in the trash when they are done beside it. When I read about it, which be years ago, I found out that police are actually allowed to stop family on the street and ticket them if they are chewing gum. They also get to confiscate any gum they might enjoy in their pockets or purses.

I read a really great enumerate at the end of closing year that had a bunch of antiquated law from places in the US. They be all law that don't make any sense, but which state lawmaker haven't gotten around to changing. The merely one I remember is that there be a law someplace forbidding touching a cow's udders if you weren't the owner of said cow. The silly thing be that under the statute, a hired worker couldn't milk the cow, either--only the actual farmer who owned it could.
