What should you do when your job fires you w/o a write up or vebal notification?

im 8 months pregnant. i live in sc. my assignment terminated me about a week ago. my boss told me it was becuase of three complaints but she didnt know what they be. that unabled her to give me a singing warning. whoever she spoke to told her it be out of her control and to let me step. i had to track down the district chief to find out the story but even then next to that being done, i be already terminated with a phone phone before i spoke to her. i a short time ago called to find out what the complaints be. what can i do about this? can this really crop up? can they get away near this? did i mention i never recieved a write up EVER as long as i have be working with this company.
Answers: Hmm... By making the reality that you were 8-months pregnant such a prominent detail, it seem as if you may know why you were terminated, and want to use this status as a crutch somehow.
Your employer is not required by imperative to give you a written or spoken warning if your offense is egregious. General complaints don't give the impression of being to be alarming, so you are probably within your rights to be competent fix what you did wrong first.

You can file an EEOC claim ONLY if you believe that the explanation you were fired be because of your pregnancy- which would be weakened if they can prove you be fired because of the complaints.
South Carolina is an "employment at will State. They can fire you at any time for no reason at adjectives. All you can do is look for a new career.

My advice (and it is NOT qualified officially recognized advice) is to talk to a advocate about the situation, emphasize the fact that you are pregnant and be let jump without an explanation. The nuance is that it has something to do beside your being pregnant, which would be a ruin of federal law. Let the advocate take that to the employer. That should own two effects: 1) to let your employer know you own hired a lawyer, and 2) to consent to them know that your attorney believes they may be violating federal decree.

Likely outcomes:
1) You'll still be fired, but you'll get domestic and medical leave or something similar to that as part of a negotiate settlement.
2) You may be hired back of late to avoid the legal hassle... but keep under surveillance your back and sway onto your lawyer!
3) You may be offered a bread settlement in return for their not have to explain their reasons... PLUS some charitable of coverage for the pregnancy, such as extension of health benefits former your date of termination without COBRA kicking surrounded by.
4) You may end up within a lawsuit with the employer. You MAY win, but I guarantee you it will be frustrating, excrutiating and almost not worth it, so product sure you and your lawyer believe that a) it's the best piece to do, and b) that you'll win. Otherwise you will have some big legalized bills to pay.

Pretty much any career can fire you w/o warning or write ups. Depends if its a small business or corporate. If they enjoy proof or anything that you aren't doing your job or they own complaints and you think they r wrong its he said/she said. Unless here is real proof. If within was actual discrimination or anything resembling that, you should have proof, witness, etc. I enjoy seen lots people gain fired for many reason and no reasons. If they mentioned complaints, after you should have the right to know what they be. I would look into the dept of labor in your state.

Can I report someone who is a fraud on craigslist?

Marijuana should be permitted because it is less deleterious than legal substances. If alcohol is officially recognized (I have several friends that died from drinking but none that died from a pot overdose) afterwards how can pot be illegal? Pot is a relatively safe drug that can provide a number of medical purposes. We pump our children and depressed adults full of drugs - why not a intuitive plant instead of manufactured chemicals?

At least furnish the states the right to choose for themselves...

I hope you indicate medicinal marijuana lol. I am no medical expert, but, if reputable experts in the medicinal pasture approve the use of it, then I do not see why not.

I am not crazy around the idea of it mortal legalized for recreational purposes, but, whether its legalized or not, people will do it anyways. I vote legalize it and spawn it taxable so at least some benefits comes out of it.

Personal opinion aside, I do not see how the federal government have the authority to ban substances resembling weed. The constitution says the federal governing body can only regulate interstate commerce, but for some common sense weed is still illegal even if it never crosses state lines. A few years ago voters within California voted in favor of a proposition that would normalize marijuana within the state lines, but the Supreme Court struck it down which is beyond me. I believe matter like marijuana legalization should be not here to the individual states.

You leased the house surrounded by that condition, and it's not illegal to own two prong outlet's or ungrounded outlets, that would be considered "grandfathered". All my outlets are two pronged also. I picked up some adapters at Wal-Mart for about 50 cents respectively. Not the best option,but the solely way to plug contained by a three pronged appliance in a two pronged outlet.
