What can you do about this?
What can we do if we bought a used xbox for christmas from some empire that we dont really know. we went to theire house and they wouldnt pass us money back they freshly offered to help us out fix it and that did NO apposite at all. they also sold us 5 games near it and a controled... only one of the 5 games work and the controler doesnt work .. They wont contribute us our money back so what can we do besides knock them out and it isnt below warinty anymoreAnswers: I'm afraid there is really zilch you can do. When you buy something used from a private seller, you are buying it "as is." Unless you signed a contract next to them or can show that they promised you the XBox was surrounded by perfect working directive and if it wasn't they would give your money put a bet on, your are out of luck. Next time you want to buy a used game system, run to a place like EB Games or GameStop and purchase the 1 year extended warranty next to it. 1) They make sure the system is working since they sell it and 2) With the warranty, they will fix it or replace it.
File a complaint so that the other knees-up will be forced to reimburse you with the amount you compensated for the defective items.
How much do they charge in california to bring back your drivers license?
Answers: $27 See http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dl/fees/driverlice...
It depends the county and city
I haven't received a paycheck from my new employer. i be told that i would get it on december 21?
everyone else get their check but me.it was a full 2 week check and my regulator showed me that i was inputted into the time clocking system.
my inspector tried to contact payroll on the 21st, but everyone was already gone for christmas break.
he told me today that i should a short time ago get salaried for 4 weeks in one check on january 4th.
my hill puts a hold on checks from new employer,
so it's going to be awhile before i in actuality see my money.
last time i get a new charge the bank held my check for 10 superfluous days.
so if i don't get remunerated until the 4th,
and have to continue 5 business days
(until the 11th)...
that's waiting an additional 21 days after the date that i be expecting to get salaried.
isn't this illegal?
it's a modern job so i don't want to do too much of a stir,
but i want my friggin money!
i have bills to payment.
Answers: Unfortunately, it is not illegal. It's a mistake, by your employer clearly, complicated by the holidays, and beside no malice.
It is a doomed to failure situation made worse, by your bank's company policy regarding spanking new payroll checks. A policy you agreed to by establishing an account near them. There may be other solutions, not convenient or free, but better than have checks bouncing and bills late.
Encourage your employer to distribute you a business check, or a payroll advace, to hold you over, since it was their mistake surrounded by the first place. Explain to them due to the your bank's rules regarding modern payroll checks and the hardship it is cause because of the holidays, and the total amount of time due to their error.
If not an advance after, perhaps a hail as to the bank from your employer to see what can be done to release the money quicker, first.
I also suggest that if the payroll check is drawn on a local bank or branch of a national dune, you cash it beside that bank directly. They may charge you a small tax to cash it if you don't own an account near them as well. Some bank don't. Some do.
There is also paycheck cashing places. With ID, bank statements, and other documentation (mail, phonebill, etc), they will usually change a paycheck, like a guard, but also for a small fee.
Otherwise, if you own a family branch or friend who has the money to cover it, encourage the check to them and have them currency it for you.
Or, you might want to consider opening an description at bank, today! And deposit this check beside them. Chances are they will cover it all if its an authorized employer payroll check from a certain area employer. If it is, your mound nor a new forbid should not have any hold, spanking new or otherwise. Unless banks contained by the area own had an issue next to this employer in days gone by. That may be an issue as well. But it freshly seems uncommon.
And once this is past... find direct deposit if offered.
Switch banks, I enjoy NEVER heard of a sandbank holding a paycheck from an employer. With banking systems presently they know directly if it is good so they should hold no reason to hold it.
I would seize stern next to the employer, this is uncalled for. I would point out to them that you don't work for free and this is an error that won't be tolerated.
Most payrolls make a modern employee continue one pay interval cycle before getting compensated. So, you are never paid for the week you newly work, you are paid for the reimburse period until that time that. You say everyone else be paid, but be they all latest employees?
However, the hill thing is wrong. Check processing is much faster currently with the electronic verbs. And some employers do direct deposits to your information making the funds available the next business daytime.
Find a new dune. Before opening the depiction, find out their funds available policy. It is probably against the law for the dune to hold your funds for 10 days. In state checks should clear in 3 days, and out of state within 5 days.
Check with HR very soon. I'll bet they will tell you that you have to wait another rate period to see the funds from the first reward period you worked.
You should look for a hot bank, and check the bank's funds availability policy so you know when your deposits will be available. If the employer uses a local guard and is a well certain company, the bank should hold no reason to hold the check regardless of how long you hold worked there. In nonspecific the big banks are more expected to hold checks, so try a community bank or credit confederation. You can also cash the check at the guard it's written off of and deposit the dosh into your account. Direct deposit would also solve that problem.
As far as dealing near your employer, if they actually printed a check for you but it get lost, have them put a stop on it and issue a tentative one. If they didn't print one find out why. It sounds like your mediator is just brushing the issue bad by saying powerfully I guess you will get rewarded for four weeks on your next check. To avoid cause problems at a new assignment, I would talk directly to the payroll dept. instead of have your boss do it.

Do you consider this sexual harassment?
This guy totally annoys me. I told him my mom file a police report and she is going to press charges on him because he "sexually harasses" me. He seems to return with thrilled by annoying people. He know i hated him and I even made a integral new email address to bring back away from him and he got that hot email address. I told him not to call me "sweetie" and he still did and i told him to leave your job me alone and he acted like zilch was wrong when i threatend to report him to the cops i said "i abhor you" multiple times and he'd say "i love you" and stuff. Do you consider this sexual harrying?? and is this important adequate to tell my mom in the region of, and should she take this to the police?? He is within 10th grade and he lives within newjersey, i am in 8th level and i live on the other side of the country. what can the police do about this? He is hugely smart with computers and he delete my email address and yahoo account to stash the "proof" that he "sexually harasses" me.Do you consider this sexual harassment?
Answers: This is why you call for to be really careful more or less what kind of information you hand over out onthe internet. But, now you can report it to the police. It is not sexual harrassment but it is harrassment. Report it as soon as possible and be wary!
Don't read his emails. Simple enough!
And no it is not sexual discrimination.
Good god...
I hope you never actually encounter legitimate sexual harassment.
not sexual bullying
If you feel threatened or he have threatened you it is menacing by stalking (At least contained by Ohio)
http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/2903.211
How old are you? You give the impression of being very young-looking.
This is not sexual harrassment, and your Mom is wrong for entertaining false accusations.
This boy is chat you, and it seems close to you keep going subsidise for more or he would not have continued.
Simply block his address and your problem is solved.
It could be. Typically, for it to be sexual harrassment, his communication near you (written or verbal) must include reference to your body, or your relationship next to him, sex, sexual organs, etc.
In any case, you should walk to cops and get a restraining command against him, saying that he is a threat to you (& ur mom).
U most definetely requirement to let your mom know that in attendance is someone online harrssing you. You should cut off adjectives contact with him too. I would stop "threatening" him near the cops unless you're going to do something like that for TRUE...he probably just get a big kick out of it and make him want to do it more.
Bring your parents into the situation. Out of everything they need to know...of late b/c his profile says he's within 10th grade who's to read aloud he's not some twisted pervert that likes acting resembling this to young girls...fitting luck and be safe...
try to hold on to your distance as much as possible and print out anything and everything that he sends you..thta way you can start building a folder of evidence against him. Good luck!
Yes. It sounds approaching harassment. It's probably possible to return with a restraining order against him.
Check near a lawyer or nearby are also many women's rights's groups that proposal help within getting restraining orders. If he violate the order consequently he goes to put in prison.
Try searching below Battered Women. Use the phone book, too. A lot of these groups are sympathetic and can put you in touch beside groups that may be able to aid you at little or no charge.
what he is doing is not considered sexual harrassment it is considered Stalking and Cyberbullying. YES ABSOLUTELY tell your parents, and YES, contact the authorities AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Don't agree to him know either that you hold done either. EVERY e-mail/IM/post/blog/etc. he sends you..PRINT it (it will enjoy a time date stamp). The authorities will have the competency to track him down so.deleting the justification won't hide it. and I guarantee, the elected representatives internet PROFESSIONALS are smarter than this BOY in High School
Also, to "big_mustache" sexual harrassment does not purely happen "at work". The authorities consider it to be sexual harrassment REGARDLESS of where on earth it takes place, at work, at institution, at the grocery store, in e-mail, etc.
Here's the wikipedia definition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_hara...
If you are going to be giving guidance...get it right.
except that, its definitly harassment. you call for to speak to the authorities honey.
Are we really "Free"?
We are the land of the free and home of the brave, but it seem to me that everyday there are more and more rules to be followed. Dont capture me wrong, there is no other place surrounded by teh world I would rather live, but our freedoms come across to be shrinking day by sunshine. Thoughts?Answers: No. Weak, frightened little people hang on to trading freedom for dubious assurances that they will be 'safer', something I have even so to see.
You are free to think, but that's something like it. Everything else is regulated.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed motion according to our will within precincts drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limitations of the law' because law is regularly but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violate the rights of the individual."
~ Thomas Jefferson
We are not totally free. We have traded several of our freedoms in exchange for a estimate of security.
I suggest you read on the notion of the "social contract". The classic sources for that philosophy are John Locke and Hobbs, although near are many more.
Of course we are. -.-
Yeah, we own laws...
But, if we didn't...
A lot of relatives would be dead probably.
Rules/laws are newly things to keep us not detrimental.
We are free in a situation, but not free to do whatever we want. We hold laws, some expressive and some just stupid. In a track, I agree with you. Freedom is shrinking. But, the law they make adjectives have a substance to help the country. Some, law, are stupid and should have never be passed.
But, America is still wonderful and everything we do in our everyday time we all embezzle for granted.
My freedoms aren't shrinking. I went to the college of my choice and get my degree contained by my own personal area of interest (Political Science). I moved to the division of the country where I looked-for to live. I met and fell in love near the man of my choice and we got married. We bought a house contained by a great neighborhood. We both found jobs we love contained by professions we are good at, and we trade name nice salaries. We are free to travel as we please, worship or not as we please, distribute our daughter to public or private school as we please.
We are free to sign on whatever clubs, associations or societies we want, and pursue our interests. We are free to contact our elected official, to agree or disagree with them as we see fit, to battle or work to help elect the candiates of our choice. We are free to vote and to involve yourself in in our society contained by a productive way.
Honestly, I am as free as I own ever been surrounded by my 39 years of life. There is zilch I want to do that I am not free to do.
Hello!
I would say yes we are conspicuously free, free to be imprisoned by the forces that be.
Your cross-question is so vague that I would hold to know what type of "free" you are referring to. Free to make lawful choices, yes. Free to speak out about what ever your heart desires, depends on who you are and what or who you're speaking going on for. Free to come and go as you please, depends on your situation and status within life. Free to regulation lies that have be accepted as truths, Hell no! Free to sincere equality, another Hell no!
To be totally free, you would own to endure anarchy. Everyone would do as they wish, without restraint of directive. We have to surrender some freedom for the flawless of society. But we must also be ever-vigilant; as our freedoms are removed by unjust law, we must stand ready to struggle back and remove the corrupt politicians that endorse such legislation.
The removal of habeas corpus under the Bush control is just such a casing - the administration have challenged the constitution within many ways, and should be removed. Since congress is unwilling to steal action, we the voters should do so at the subsequent election; throwing out of organization anyone who was too cowardly to stand up for our rights.
really ? what freedoms enjoy you lost in the ultimate several years, clue me in since I cannot reckon of one ..

Can i sue my employer for deducting from my recompense check and donating my earned money on my behalf?
this is the 4th time that my employer have donated my money without my authorization for christmas & my birthday. adjectives i get is a card that say "happy holidays a donation have been made to ------- to take on their work on behalf of our most needy citizens on your behalf.". the company get a deduction for taxes and i don't.Answers: Your employer requests your permission to reduce by wages for charity or donations. You're suppose to sign a form giving them permission. Maybe you forgot that you signed the form. Inquire next to your employer or bookkeeper. They should have the form on folder. If your employer cannot produce the form and you wish your money returned from out of place authorization then your employer should comply or you should wallet a complaint with the labor board. If your boss is uncooperative try going up the stepladder to his boss first before reasonably filing your complaint.
It is not legitimate for them to make a donation of your money. It is appropriation to do anything with your money that you don't authorize.
If you no longer want your situation you can probably sue, or report them to some state agency the has authority over wage and hour law.
You should check to see for sure that you didn't sign authorization when you were hired, that you forgot in the order of, before you procure into a fight over it.
Contact human resources- you might own signed something permitting this when you be hired and didn't realize it. HR would (or should) be able to share you this. Otherwise, they should also be able to comfort you stop this. I would be a little ticked, too- especially since they're doing it lacking permission and not to the charity of your choosing.
My guess is at hand was some sort of clause or agreement you made precipitate on (unbeknownst to you) that will help them spinal column this up- otherwise, I think a company that of late decides to discount charitable contributions is asking for trouble (and will eventually get it).
Can you sue for this- if within is no paperwork that you signed, then probably yes. However, is the amount deduct worth the trouble? I think if it's a relatively small donation after trying to sue is more stress on you than its worth (not to mention potential legal expenses). If it's a immense sum of money then it may be worth it. I'd enunciate around $500 or up, but that's your choice. I think the more appropriate movement at this point would be finding out how to keep it from arranged again.
Good luck!
Like someone else said - unless you signed something that says you intended to provide then YES - you can return with your money. back. You might try in recent times sending a note to payroll that you have no intention of giving. They can fix it right away if they like. Then if they don't you can distribute a letter of constraint to the payroll department.
Best of luck.
