What laws protect us from tribal employer and their rules?

This question is in relation to "calling in". I won't disclose what tribe it is but the casino that someone i know works for have these things call "Blocked Days" in which you can not christen in on those persuaded days (which were primarily Fridays-Sundays), and now during the holiday season they hold made it "blocked until January,3,2008". Calling in on a "blocked day" would result contained by an automatic "5 day suspension" or termination. Is it legalized for them to do that because they have a sovereign nation status or are within laws that prohibit them from doing things close to that?
Answers: It doesn't matter if the commission is "tribal" or not.

In general, the labor law of the State do not apply on tribal lands, EXCEPT as agreed to by treaty or contract.

In CA, for example, the tribal gaming contracts negotiated between the tribes and the State enjoy included a clause that makes "most" labor law applicable to tribal casino workers.

Whether that applies in your location, or whether your State even have laws forbidding a non-tribal employer to do this, depends on where on earth you are.

How do you feel give or take a few the welfare system?

Do you think it's given out to freely? In my inference noone with 5 kids and no living that's pregnant again should be given anything but a job application and birth control. I tight-fisted seriously, I think it's sickening that society can be allowed to not work, make 5 babies, and sit at home collecting food stamps and money for nought, just so they can verbs on the same causeway, does anyone honestly use welfare just for a brief interval to get on their foot after a lose and actually TRY to seize a real duration? I hate culture who abuse the system, I see it so much here surrounded by VA. Oh and the worst thing is seeing someone use food stamps at a grocery store while wearing a Gucci Bag and some Echo clothing, that sh*t costs money that you should be spending on your food instead of spending my duty dollars, geez!

The welfare system is a disaster. While we want a system to help those who cannot relief themselves we do not need a system that provides natural life long support to women whose total claim is that they have children. In my judgment, someone who has have a run of bad luck should be allowed abet for no more than 6 months. During which time they must be actively looking for work and a place to live. At the end of that time they receive no more assistance. Don't foot me the line almost their children. If they are working they are supporting their children and if they cannot earn enough they inevitability to find the Father's of those children and get child support. Food stamps are another method of taking it to the taxpayer. Those that truly involve help should take them. Those on welfare while they look for work should not. They should have to gross those welfare dollars stretch to include food. One less piece to cut them off from at the running out of 6 months. Medical care should be provided to those population who cannot take attention to detail of themselves. If you are working you can get insurance any through your job or through private insurance. I should not hold to cover your insurance costs.

Its good and unpromising. My mom used it when my dad walked out on her and she have 4 kids to feed. However, she used it to be in motion back to university to get a RN level and is now making 80,000 a year.

i, like the majority of americans, agree near you totally. But lets delve into this and try to get the message why welfare in america is undue. Ok first, women who have children and no position etc, are a shame and a slap in the facade of people who work and live responsibly. I think nearby are huge problems with the welfare system and it requirements to be totally revamped, but I doubt it’s going to happen. Back Child Support...?

I live in Missouri. I be never married so when my baby's father and I split there be no courts involved. We typed up our own aggreement that said he would pay $150 a month and hold the kid 1/2 the time. That was approaching 3 years ago. He has salaried every month. Now I want to take him to court for more money. Can I sue for final child support? I know I should have gotten more than $150 a month. Can I claim that as a grant?

You are lucky that your child's father pays every month (a lot don't) why would you want to screw him over? That seems to some extent cruel to go hindmost on the agreement. I don't think you can sue for rear child support because there be no official agreement made. Also he have the typed agreement from you and has never broke it - for his defense.
I don't know just about legally, but morally you should not sue him for pay for child support. You and he agreed to that amount and he has rewarded it every month. Since you came up next to the orginal agreement, wouldn't it be easier and less costly to work out a topical agreement for more money? Child Support question!!! Please aid!?

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant, well i am no longer next to the father and he has made it impressively known he have no intention of being our daughters life span. My question is, i want to directory for child support but was curious what information is needed nearly the father to do this? Do i need a social protection number? d/l number? any of that? I'm trying to figure adjectives this out now because i hold to figure out how i am going to seize this information from him w/ out a huge fight. And does anyone know if they will automatically do a paternity check? or is that only if he question it? and if he does do that anyone know if he will be responsible for that test? They want his tags, driver's license number, gross and model of the car, his situation info, his SSN, his address and any numbers you have for him. They don't expect for you to have every later piece of info on the app. but the more the more the quicker they can subpeona him to court. If he don't sign the birth certificate later he will be asked to take a paternity check from the judge. Every state is diff. as far as who pays for the assessment. Sometimes its the state, others its the father, depending on if he denies the child or not. IF you file on your own minus going thru the state (i.e. food stamps, daycare assistance) then you might hold to pay for it. The price also vary by the state. I hope that helps. The quicker you do it, the quicker the results. By the passageway, you can't pursue him until the baby is born so while you're at home for your 6wks, start doing your paperwork. Which state are you contained by? I know that in Wisconsin and several other states, the Dept. of Social Services will require any potential father to submit to a paternity exam at birth to prove paternity. Once paternity is established, he will be automatically assessed for Child Support regardless of his wishes on the matter.

Even if you and he be still together, but unmarried, Social Services would go through indistinguishable process at birth and garnish support from his wages. Again, this is how Wisconsin handle it and I know other states do as well.

If you are within a state that doesn't you will need to report him to your state social services or welfare bureau and they will compel a paternity test. Then its past its sell-by date to court to get what your child rightfully deserves.

How can I find out who filed a claim against my Mom's estate?

We be to finalized everything today and the clerk told us that some one filed a claim against her estate. The with the sole purpose thing we can have an idea that of is that maybe it be the hospital or bank but we don't owe them that much money . They set up an appointment for us to come together with the Judge subsequent week .. I wanted to know if I could find out who it be sooner . Any help will be appreciated!
Answers: Go to the courthouse and ask to see the baggage file. There should be a journal of who filed the claim and how much they are seeking. There may be a copying charge but otherwise there should be no charge to review the profile.
The claim should have be passed to the administrator of the estate. Do you know who that is? Oldest surviving child would be the 'normal' choice.

My friends father passed away, he have old him if he would to slip away that the insurance on his home would cover paying the home off and any outstanding bills and that he also have life insurance. Without knowing what state or country you are within, whether you will be charged with a crime, what the conciliator might say, etc. we can't really predict your luck. If you are charged with a crime, after get a legal representative, obviously. Until consequently, good luck.
Contact your defence worker and see what you need to do to correct it. If it be an honest mistake, they should be able to work something out.
