Government can shut down websites, right? So why they don't shut down porn sites?
Government can shut down websites, right? So why they don't shut down porn sites?Answers: The porn industry is now a multibillion dollar industry. The govt would antipathy to see the economy appropriate a hit. More important than that, How would they gross for all those lost battle contributions.
Because the law have not deemed them illicit. So long as they run any disclaimer for underage persons not to look.
It is the out-of-date catch 22 of the legalized system.
Although the government cannot shut down websites because of free speech rights, it indubitably does monitor websites to see if crimes are committed. Child pornography is a crime that can be prosecuted, but adult pornography is not a crime as long as lone adults have access to it.
OSHA: Garbage?
I work for a restaurant and the managers be paid us dig through the trash to separate the junk, compost and recycling near no protection except for those thin clear food handler gloves.. Isn't it against OSHA regulations to make an employ stick their hands within the garbage because in attendance could be needles or other unsafe things in here? Could you send me a intermingle with the information on this? If it is against regulation I obligation to print out those rules so I can bring them to my manager.Either path I would really appreciate information on this.
Thank you!
Answers: I started searching through the site and it's a large amount of information to search through. I do know that the plastic food handler gloves are not appropriate for this kind of job. Anything can poke through those gloves and I would go as far as to report them for this mode of a violation. Here is the OSHA site.

You can quote all these law you want to. OSHA has be castrated since the Reagan administration. They own only a handful of enforcement officer for the entire country. They only come and investigate if someone is kill on the job. If you show your boss any considerate of rules on a piece of paper my prediction is you wont enjoy a job by subsequent Friday. Good luck. Just know you are on your own.
Im being fired bcz my supervisor desires to hire her daughter...?
she told me 'i'm giving you your 2 weeks notice. you wont be working here bcz my daughter quit her assignment, so i'm giving her yours'. as broke as i am, I CANT AFFORD TO LOSE THE MONEY! and have worked here more than 1 yr! do you think i enjoy a case to sue?Answers: It is no eccentricity of your own so file for job loss.
Sure you can sue.
It will cost money to do it, take at least possible a year, and if you win, you will be working somewhere that they don't want you around.
Sounds great, but maybe getting a unsullied job will be easier.
Almost every State contained by America is "employment at will" - which means that "I want to grant your job to my daughter" is permissible.
Since it's not your fault, though, you can record for unemployment.
Richard
No grip. You can be fired at anytime for any reason or no point at all.
Good Luck
Do you work contained by an "At Will" state or a "Right To Work" state? If an AT Will you can be fired for any and/or no reason. If a RTW state you can database a claim.
Do you think Marijuana should be Legalized?
Why or why not?Answers: Yes, without doubt for adults.
First on principle, I think nation should generally be free to do what they want, inside reason. Pot's a minor vice, of course no worse than alcohol, tobacco, gambling or rime cream.
Second, the nation spends a huge amount of money trying to interdict the trade. That money could be saved. Those cop resources could be used to lend a hand control things like murder, rape and robbery.
Third, legalize marijuana would deny a huge source of income to organized crime, both in the US and within latin america (where organized crime is sometimes a real competitor and threat to local government).
Fourth, official marijuana would produce a huge new commercial opportunity surrounded by this country, which the country could certainly use.
And finally, sale of the stuff could be taxed, to assist support local government.
There's no correct reason to save it illegal.
yes
It's no worse than alcohol, and doesn't produce any worse symptoms.
Plus it would help lessen drug trafficing crime, and the U.S could make a profit from it by taxing it only like booze and tobacco.
I presume it needs to remain banned - it has long permanent status health problems - (like cigarette smoke) and it have known long possession psychological effects. Now, I no you all are going to thumbs me down - Alcohol probably should topple into the same category because it also have similar issues.
Medical uses for the drug certainly should be considered.
Yes!
I believe it should be legalized.
It is road better for you that tabacco and alcohol just look at the facts...
Marijuana kill 500,000 less than alcohol and tabacco combined..Weed kill 0 people every year.
Have you ever hear of someone dying of an OD of weed...i dont think so.
Why not? We drink alcohol that kill us so why not Marijuana that will also kill us although contained by a different way. Regular cigarettes also take out but once again in a different opening. I suspect that the large cigarette firms do not want competitors who would ease their revenues. I want you to know that Marijuana is a deadly drug that will eventually fry one's brain. Sadly I hold seen it my kith and kin and once it goes olden a certain point of exposior in attendance is no turning back. That party is a goner. But why not? Alcohol also kills and it is a lousy route to die.
As a non american , if i purchased a house there , does that propose I can buy lots of guns and other weapons?
Answers: You must be a resident for 6 months to even buy one gun. All everyday laws will still apply wich medium you could buy them, but under like restrictions of americans.
NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stay where you are at..we don't want that bulls*** here.
Wow, you were without a doubt sheltered and in a stereotypical home.
NO, you can't. Like, you can justifiably get guns and such if you hold a LICENSE, but you can't get arms handed out to you surrounded by every store.
Despite what people give attention to, America has law for guns and various assault weaponry like other countries.
NO! Don't gain me started.
Why may I ask are you concerned about this?
I don't see any point why you can't.
course not they got law there too
Crack kill
You have a right to be armed with/without registrations. [Depending on the state laws] This is within the bill of rights.
So, yes. You can buy them, but you're going to have some explaining to do if cops find you running around next to them for the wrong reasons.
And..how does purchasing a house relate to owning guns/weapons? I don't see the nouns.
only if you live surrounded by California ;-) .
Ummm...no. Try Kazakhstan.
I believe you have to be a citizen to purchase firearms from a purveyor, which will run a criminal background check on you. One of the question on the form is "Are you a citizen of USA?"
As a non-citizen, the only road you can legally purchase firearms is through a private public sale. If you go to a gun show, some folks will walk around beside a sign on their back selling that they have a firearm they're offering to get rid of, which they keep locked up surrounded by the trunk of their car. You can also capture firearms through the black market (organized crime), where on earth even full-automatic sub machine guns can be purchased. Firearms through the black bazaar will cost more; as much as double (or more) of what they would cost had you gotten it legitimately through a gun store.
Yeah! and lollipops and hot dogs and film stars and the Empire state building and see Mickey Mouse and ...you will enjoy a lovely little life you silly little party.
Is it illegal to date a minor?
Because this 16-year-old girl desires to date me but I'm 19. I don't want to get involve contained by any sexual intercourse, I would just kiss her, hold her appendage, you know, usual boyfriend/girlfriend behavior. Is that illegal also?Answers: It is contained by California.
legal
merely no sex
that is immoral
only 3 years elder.
duh it is.
in california it is
18 & + cant be near a minor
Haha...6th graders are doing that where I come from...I'm pretty sure it's legitimate.
Not technically, in most states. But it is suspicious.
What is wrong near you that you have to stir out with a kid?
date isnt a problem, merely no sex, most states would lock you up for having sex though.
It is totally fine to do the movements you described. (I think)
What state are you in? Check age of consent ruling. It might be alright for sex at 16 for all you know.
http://www.ageofconsent.com/ageofconsent... (scroll down to USA and your State. Unless you're out of the US... next scroll down to your country)
Its legal but you cant be four years elder.
so in your crust yes it is legal.
:)
I don't ponder so. Depends where you live. 16 is the endorsed age of consent in some states and countries, which would imply that she could even legally enjoy sex with you. I would ask more specifically in the region of where you live to find out whether this is official or not.
I would most likely feel its perfectly permitted as long as she doesn't drink or smoke - and you probably might not want to have sex, which you said you didn't want to do, which is devout.
It isn't illegal to date a minor, it's unfair to engage contained by sexual activities next to a minor, which dating leads to.
Depending on where on earth you live and what the laws are she might not be forbidden. From what I know, in Florida, the ruling is 16-24 and at 18 it's 16+ if that makes sense.
I regard you are fine. But don't have sex next to her just incase.
Do you have to state the probability of winning a prize by decree?
I play an online golf game, and this site have an item mall where on earth you spend real money to purchase contained by game items. One of the items sold is call a "lucky box". You pay definite money to purchase one of these lucky boxes. Once you purchase the box it shows up in the inventory of your team game character where on earth you then start on it up. The content's of the box can contain anything from very universal game items to undercooked game items. I own asked the game support staff what the likelihood of winning respectively item are but they state that they wish to hold that information confidential. The game servers for this hobby are in California. What are the law regarding posting the probability of winning prizes? And any correlation to that information would be very functional as well.
Answers: Scroll down to the booth titled "Sweepstakes, Promotions and Contests": http://www.gambling-law-us.com/State-Law...
However, since you pay money to enter, I believe it fits CA's definition for a lottery and is probably against the law. (Lottery laws are also at that connection.)
Can I receive SS.?
I am taking care of my 80 year outmoded mother with Alzhiemers and living on her severely small pention. Am I elligable for SS while taking care of her? I can not work outside of the home right in a minute. I can not leave her alone for nervousness she might hurt herself.Thank you

General contractors?
is there anything you can do if a home owner doesnt compensate the invoice after the work is completed,,,we did some roof repair and, remodeling,,, she said she was relaxed with the work but considered necessary to get it inspected by a termite inspector within 30 days,,, this was not the agreement, and really come out of nowhere,,, we are a small business and 30 days is a long time for the time and materials we used,,,in california if that helpAnswers: You have 90 days from the second day worked on the premise to record lien on the home. Do not wait. Follow up beside an immediate 10 daytime notice of foreclosure. Make sure you convey CC to the lean holders and to the insurance carrier. You don't even hold to have a court date for this. Just dance straight to the court house and county records bureau. The clerk there should be capable of help beside the proper forms to use.
Are you a licensed Contractor, if yes and you had a signed contract that the harmonize is due upon completion, then they owe you the money and as long as she know that you guarantied the work, they have to pay packet you upon completion if that was the arrangement made, if they rear legs out of the contract then you can directory a lien on the property, it will only generate it harder to retrieve your funds, but it will stop them from selling the property until you are payed. It sounds to me that if she wants to hold the property checked by a Termite inspector, She had plans on getting the property fixed to obtain a Termite Inspection to Sale the Property, so you need to push tricky for Final payment or you inevitability to move fast and folder a Mechanic's Lien on the Property with the County Recorders Office, and database in Court to Sue her for the Money owed to you for the work perform, This can stop the sale of the property until the Balance of the contract is salaried in full, Have adjectives your paperwork in decree when you do this, and have your signed contract, fitting luck
Has there be any improvement contained by fathers rights below Governor Huckabee?
I know a man who has a child beside his live in girlfriend, she does not work, the man supports her, her son from previous conjugal (#4 I think) and the child they had together, He have to pay her child support. I do not read between the lines that at all. Does that produce sense to you?Answers: There is a term for women that hold children with multiple men for support; 'Baby Factory'.
Fathers rights enjoy improved over times gone by 10 years but not from politicians. The advances come from lawsuits.
If you support father rights, don't vote for Biden. I am from Delaware and DE is one of the worst places for men that have children.
I live contained by Arkansas and the Child Support agency here is very alive when support is not being rewarded. They start by suspending the persons drivers license. If it is his child (only the one specifically his), why shouldn't he be paying support? Child Support is court ordered so he should know the answer.
