Answers: Who be put on the birth certificate as the father? Was that part of a set blank? Usually a father is put down even if that person wasn't at hand at the time of birth. Was the birth at a German hospital or at a base hospital?
I imagine you can just apply to bring back the birth certificate amended, I don't reason you need to "adopt." Maybe contact your local official aid office.

if he is in certainty the biological father, you need to folder for an AMENDED birth certificate. An adoption is when a non biological parent assumes the legalized role of parent.
