My new neighbor is threatening to shoot my dogs, goats and horses! He hate us!!! Help!!!?
Ok, I live in Copperas Cove, TX within the country, but close to Fort Hood where my husband's surrounded by the Army. We just bought this house a few months ago and enjoy a few farm "pets." My husband be injured in Iraq and have had trouble keeping up near the fence, pasture and everything, but we're getting nearby! A few weeks ago we had some friends staying next to us and while my husband and I were at work they tolerate our dog out and forgot to call her pay for in so she wondered out of our total admission money and across the street. It was a heat day and the neighbors departed the front door open and my dog go into their house! They came over and told our guests they'll shoot our dog if they see her close their yard again! My dog is a lab mix and LOVES everyone, she didn't hurt anything or do any impair. When I got the phone give the name I rushed home and apologized to them, but they weren't interested in discussion to me, only to my husband so he go over and explained what happened, but they didn't watchfulness.Answers: I'd call the police but you might also want to receive sure all your animals are protected and cannot get out...it would be a shame if they get shot by your jerk neighbor.
move about to the police and tell them your neighbors threatened you so if anything did start the police would already have something on directory and would believe you.

even though a jerk they enjoy the right to expect you to keep control of your pets. draw from the fence fixed don't make available the idiot across the street an excuse to kill your pets. labs and lab mixes are adjectives wonderful dogs and yes very friendly, it is close to they have never met a stranger they know and love everyone so do what is needed to hold on to the dog safe. one in Texas the neighbor probably have the right to kill your pets if they wonder onto his property, hell within Texas he can probably kill them even if they aren't on his property (sorry i digress i be thinking your dog was an undocumented immigrant). righteous luck and keep that lab risk-free and at home.
check your state "fence laws" but since you're surrounded by texas--he probably has the right to shoot your animals if they come on his property. too doomed to failure you have to live across from an as*hole. i work out your husband has be injured, but i'm sure ft. hood has an assistance program or can procure some soldiers to come out and fix what needs to be fixed. ft. hood is really apposite about that sort of stuff. my brother was stationed in that for 9 years. however, i would keep the police informed every time you own issues with them==just so they are aware should something crop up in the adjectives. so sorry you're having problems.

Well they are lousy neighbors, but you are required to have control over your "pets" at adjectives times. Rude or not, they are in the right. I'm sorry going on for your husband's injuries and your nasty neighbors. I'd be sure and hold your precious pets away from them! You'd think an apology and explanation would be satisfactory. I would call the police right immediately and make a report of his threats. I am not sure of the local law, but the police would be able to bring up to date you what steps to take... lawfully. I don't think that it would be court in any state to shoot your animals. But, if you hold already made the report, and he does happen to shoot one of your pets, the police will know who did it. In the be determined time, I would try and fix the fence, as best possible, and show the police that you are making an attempt to contain your pets.
A neighbor shot one of my dogs not too long ago. She be not killed, but hurt. There be nothing I could do, because nearby was no mode to "prove" who did it. Even though I know where she be, and got a glimpse of who shot her.
Good luck to you, and I would strongly suggest that you appointment the police right now. Make that report, and try to mend your barricade.
While I can't say I close to his methods or attitude, I can't imagine how I would counter if some strange dog walked into my home! I suggest that you call for to realize that while animals are not responsible, you need to be. Get a leash for your dog. Don't tolerate friends (who are visiting) take charge of your animals minus making them aware of the situation. If you can't keep the animals within your yard, after call the humane society.
You say-so you 'rescued' these goats, but I have a not easy time imagining that the state would place an animal next to you if you do not have proper services. Perhaps you should leave the rescuing to others until you are better equipped.
Don't misunderstand, I ruminate that the neighbor sounds pretty bad, but I also have an idea that he is provoked (and we all read aloud things when we are mad). Put yourself if his shoes, he is living peacefully, and then Noah moves subsequent door. If he doesn't want your animals in his patio, that IS his right.
Lastly, don't underestimate the damage that a goat can do to someone's property. Tie them up or obtain the fence fixed. Good luck.
*edit* In response, I be not trying to be rude, but I was trying to put together you see another side. I have have animals all of my enthusiasm (except when leases didn't allow them),but I didn't expect everyone to close to them or want them in their house or property. I am sure you penny-pinching well, but I still utter that until you have services (i.e. a fence that will contain them), you may want to consider that not everyone feel as you do.
First of all, I agree next to the many family that say that you enjoy to control your animals. I don't know why you attacked one particular post by Saph, except that possibly you didn't like that she didn't agree next to you.
I like animals, but I still don't want strange animals within my yard (especially goats). I don't construe I would threaten to shoot an animal, but then again I am lucky ample to have responsible neighbors that realize that good leashes (like righteous fences) make moral neighbors. I guess that is where on earth that expression comes from, now that I expect about it.
*edit* Now that I re-read your post, you animals get across a street. That is actually one of my pet peeve! I was driving down the road one hours of darkness and saw a dog walking down the other side of the street. I couldn't do anything before the dog be hit by someone coming the other direction. The dog never saw it coming, but I was horrified! If solitary people would realize that loving an animal finances protecting them and providing boundaries. Get your animals under control, please!
I see that the neighbor is a bump, he could have started things out differently, but... put yourself contained by his shoes. Wouldn't you freak out if a strange dog wandering into your home? You don't know the reasons for the neighbors behavior. You should keep hold of your dog under control at adjectives times.

My friend was injured at work, if she sues will she lose her available job?
My friend was injured at work.She works at a hospital, and she slipped on a raining floor,fell, and hit her head. There be no sign indicating the floor was showery. She had to achieve 3 staples in her go before and has a concussion.She is inept to work right now because a nerologist said she have post concussion syndrome. Even though, she has the proper information for workers comp..they are stalling to contribute it to her. She is very angry and is other talking going on for suing. I want to know if this is a good entity to do. It was an quirk and I worry if she tries to sue she would lose her opening or something. Is it wise for her to proceed? Could she lose her duty by suing the hospital she works for? She cannot afford to not have this assignment, she is a medical secratary.Answers: While it is not legal to fire an hand for filing suit against an employer (this is call retaliation) you can bet they will find a way to fire her within short order that will be back up in writing.
She shouldn't sue...but she can folder workman's compensation. They will pay for her time sour and medical bills.

It's not the hospital she should sue, it's the workmans comp insurance company. She should check with the HR department to be sure her claim have been filed--- if it hasn't, she can gain the contact information to file it herself. But usually you find it's the insurance company to be exact dragging its feet, not the employer. The employer PAYS the insurance company for the insurance and, while they don't want everyone to travel get hurt and report claims, they should understand that that's why they own insurance to begin beside. And suing the insurance company shouldn't get her fired because it's really none of the hospital's business. She can sue them adjectives she wants and not impact the hospital.

The misconception, that we can one and only vote Dem or Rep, is the very plea that we cannot elect anyone, but a Dem or Rep. Many people choose a carnival based on what they believe is "right" or "wrong" and how strongly they believe it. I'd notably suggest you register as an Independent if you think leaders aren't listen to your concerns, because candidates contained by the major party want your vote that badly.
