Is The Fate Of The Defendent On Trial Totally In The Hands Of The Jury?

Answers: Sorry Vero, but you are incorrect. If the jury votes not guilty, in attendance is NOTHING the judge or appellate courts can do something like it. Double jeopardy prevents the person from mortal convicted for a crime he was acquit of by a jury. Once found NOT GUILTY, always not guilty. However, if an innocent being is convicted, he still has the appellate process. The armour can be reversed on appeal or through collateral attacks on the conviction. Of course, the appellate and post-conviction process can take years, so an innocent entity can still stay in prison for a long time previously being released.

Unless in that is a misconduct or tampering, the jury ruling is law; subject, unsurprisingly to appeal.
A jury gets the baggage only after a trial have occurred, which is an shot at persuasion by both sides.
Once you get to that stage, the defendant is for sure at a fork in the road, and which trail is taken from there depends on the jury's verdict.
Whether that is "fate" or not I can't articulate. Myself, I'd be more focused on details up to and including that point, and less concerned give or take a few figures of speech :)

Answers: Any question may be object to, it really depends on the context.
It seems that the sound out is in the context of what you are cross-examining. I have a sneaking suspicion that you are on the right track, but check with your advisor/teacher to cause sure you are staying in the context of your purpose. This is a very polarizing subject, so you want to build sure you are not off-base and staying within the parameter of being appropriate as resourcefully as relevant.
When I cross someone (in real trials), I ask myself what this witness add to the theory of my shield. Then each cross-question to that witness must add something to the supposition of my case. So what is it that you want this creature to add?
Also when you cross you aren't really asking a press, you are stating a fact (disguised as a question) and really merely asking them to agree with you. Your question seemed geared that road, but see if you can tighten them up a little bit more. Even I hold to work to make sure my question are tight.
For each give somebody the third degree you ask...be ready to overcome objection. Is it relevant? Are you impeaching them? Discrediting them? Showing Bias? Showing inability to recollect? SHowing inconsistencies contained by answers? Showing motivation to fabricate/lie? Are you clarifying something asked in direct? Did the other side depart the door to this matter surrounded by their direct? Usually you can get around any objection on one of those grounds. As long as you are not harrassing, human being argumentative and the question have not been asked and answered (during your cross) you should be ok.
Again, my concern is not the permitted objection to your question, but whether the lecturer is ok with that chain of questioning as sector of the assignment. Race is such a touchy/sensitive area.

Depending on the context later it could be objected to. Most credible it would be objected to because the witness is African American (Frederick Douglass) and such question as that usually do not sit well beside the opposite side. So yes considering the circumstances that enquiry would most likely be object.

There might be problems if the truck is in the husband's signature...but in some cases where on earth money is owed (this happens within cases mainly when children are involved and child support hasn't be paid) the court can order stipend. No one plays nice in a divorce casing so use those rules and talk to the decide!

I recently applied to college and I said that I have never been convicted of a crime, felony or other misdemeaner. However, I did receive a citation for underage drinking. Will this be a problem? I be told since it was a pre-conviction that I shouldn't write it down and it wasnt needed. Think this will hurt me at adjectives?Answers: If your case be resolved short of a conviction then what you did be fine. As someone said earlier, most places underage drinking is simply a summary offense, almost like peas in a pod as a speeding ticket. Therefore, even if you pled guilty or were convicted of it, it wouldn't be a misdemeanor.
You get a citation, probably just rewarded a fine. It's not going to haunt you. In most cases it's a misdemeanor and most ppl don't supervision about those, they want to know just about felonies.
