Contractor refuses to execute?

I live in Alabama

I executed a contract within June, 2006 with a contractor to install a home audio / video system. The work commenced surrounded by December 2006 as my house was mortal completed. Work was to be completed by rash January.

I have 2 trunk problems:

1) The installation is incomplete.
2) Some items will not and cannot perform as promised.

What are my option for recourse?

I have be in constant communication next to them - they just beg to be excused to return my calls and constraint letters.

The system be is excess of $25,000.00.

Answers: did you finish paying for it? Hopefully you own contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. Unless you are likely to take them to court for breach of contract within is little you can do. You cannot be in constant communication if they do not return call or respond to your letters.

Get a legal representative and file within court. At least, return with a clerks lien against the company so that they cant do any business without settling the lien.

You do enjoy legal course you can lug, so get busy, time is your opponent.

If the contractor is bonded check into pulling their bond to complete the work. It really messes with the company within question.

Then remember to NEVER reward a contractor in full for a project not completed to your contentment.

We own immigration laws that are supposed to restrict immigration. The law, I believe, for the most part are OK. It's the enforcement of said law that is undersupplied. This comes right from the top. Of course overthrow the contract which is going to cost extra but it is better than later finding out you owe an further $2000 in long distance call. I would out of curiosity call the phone to see if someone answers it.
