Smoking Ban - Agree or Disagree?

I'm writing a paper on the "Cigarette smoking ban" to be precise currently in several states. I would approaching to see if you agree or disagree with it, and for what reason. thanks!

Was that a fair article to do to a middle class, middle aged woman? Why couldn't I have stayed on one termination of the bus platform where near were others around that might hold helped protect me?

It is a public vigour hazard. People should be allowed to smoke within the privacy of their own homes and cars, but should not be allowed to smoke in restaurants or other public places.

i agree im am also a smoker. but i would not similar to my children to have to way of walking through clouds of smoke to go somewhere or sit surrounded by a restraunt and smell the smoke i used to live in idaho be there is not smoking bar i hated it its much better here where on earth ppl cant smoke in the restraunts and stuff. i do deduce ppl should be able to smoke within there homes and cars

I believe smoking cigarettes is stupid. The filters wipe out people. That said, if someone wishes to smoke a cigarette that's their business and the business of the property owner. I think at hand is some amount of courtesy involved, but there is still no purpose the government should be invading my personal space.

My parents hold stopped going to some restaurants because they have a discouraging smoking setup. I don't see why other people can't do one and the same.

I completely disagree. I despise smoking, and I guess tobacco companies despicable for fostering their products upon unsuspecting masses, but no, I don't proponent taking freedom away. If a person wishes to smoke, then they should be allowed to do so. I can fathom out prohibition in unquestionable crowded places and any place that is small/enclosed; however, the senate should have no right to exclude what a business, such as a restaurant, does or does not allow its customers to do.

If a restaurant wants to allow their customers to smoke, next they should be allowed to do so! Does the government control business? No! That is call socialism! The government should be free to proscription smoking in unmistaken public areas where it is proven to be significantly detrimental to the health of the those, but privacy for individuals and businesses must be maintained. Does the 3 Strikes Law Apply to Filesharing Offenses?

If one is convicted of 3 or more instances of copyright infringement from filesharing (having shared 3 or more files on a network), does the "3 Strikes and You're Out" law apply to that so that the defendant get a life sentence?

I basically think it would be ridiculous for one to serve a duration sentence for sharing 3 files. Copyright infringement is a federal crime, right? So the defendant goes to federal prison, where on earth he might get raped any number of times during his incarceration. Just for sharing 3 files? Come on!!

Answers: copyright infringement is a serious matter, but it is a federal offense. 3 strike law are state statutes and don't apply. however, if a federal judge be to see that you have multiple repeated offenses, that would warrant the maximum penalty which are quite rasping.
