Was my English teacher's statement illegal?

In stir of the recent Capo "jesus glasses" case within Orange County, (it took place at a nearby university near mine), and I figure out that the teacher's hostile remarks towards religion under the Establishment feat are considered illegal in public schools. However, my sophmore year my English coach went on a rant on abortion and she insisted that any "woman who receive an abortion are most likely to own messed up children after reciving the operation", for it can cause children to be born beside Autisim and other "sevre mental issues". She insisted that her friend had an abortion, and both her kids are "messed up". I posted this on a Livejournal board and member basically stated that I should report her because what she did be illegal.

If true, how?
I be offended by her remark, but she be a terrible professor so I did not bother talking to her just about it.
Answers: If this Orange County is in the U.S.A., afterwards the teacher have the First Amendment right of Freedom of Speech!

The "establishment clause" you refer to states that "Congress shall make no tenet respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." How did your teacher violate this clause?

I agree that institution is not the most appropriate place to discuss political issues, but I'll bet some of your teachers love to bash President Bush, don't they?

There are no establishment clause issues raise by her factually incorrect description of abortion. Just like it wouldn't be "against the law" for a educationalist to ingorantly teach calculus incorrectly...

You could try and craft some sort of tort claim, ala the kids who sue the college system when they graduate without knowing how to read, but explicitly a huge stretch.

If you are that worked up about it, write a communication to the principal who, knowing the power of the teachers' union, will do without doubt nothing.

I don't know whether that's "illegal" or not...but I know it is a rule as a guru not to force ANY personal opinions on students. Students are supposed to swot up...not to be brainwashed at a vulnerable age. But also inform them the duties you performed etc. Being up front and honest until that time they call times past employer will give them a head up, but yet respect you for your honesty. i have be divorced from my ex for almost 4-5 yrs.but i got to discussion with a relative of mine the other light of day about it and remembered that i have recieved a letter from the courts, as have he,that in our state you hold to take a parenting class for children of divorce if you have children .before you officially got your divorce.so happen that my lillest child was contained by the hospital at the time and id forgoten adjectives about it,and i thought that you have a choice of to go or not and i have a restraining order against him and thought i should not progress .now i hold found out it was not an likelihood but i was legitimately required to do so.but i did recieve my divorce papers and have remarried in a minute.my relative told me that since i did not go my divorce probly be not final and my marriage be not legal.is this true?

Illegal arrest of a college student without proof, college suspension?

My son attend a college that I quality have unlawfully mistreated him for something they alleged had start. A friend owed him $10 he went to the academy to get it, the shelter saw them exchange money and assume it was for drugs so they question them, they explained to security why he be giving him the money but the security didn't believe them and call the police who ultimately search my son first (who happen to be black), and found "NO DRUGS" then he have my son sign a consent to search the saloon and again found "NO DRUGS" however, upon searching his friend ( who evolve to be white) they found DRUGS, money, and a scale contained by this kid car, they made my son sit within his car as they question his friend, and they arrested my son along with this kid despite the certainty that they found nothing on my son, they charged my son next to loitering, & alleged attempt to make a transaction near the intent to distribute, use, etc. and the college suspended him without a court audible range. is that illegal?

Sorry mom, but I do not buy your son's story. His "friend" be caught with drugs and drug paraphernalia. Your son exchanged money near this so called "friend". Why? The unbroken scenario is highly suspicious.

Get an Attorney, sue them...for slander of character, libel and slander. Go also to the Board of Regents and express your displeasure and any Civil Rights Groups that hold those types of cases on.
