The statute on naming suspected rapists needs revising. Any man accuse should not have his identify published unless and until proven guilty. Likewise, any woman falsely claiming rape should be name when shown to be false. The problem comes when guilty men are acquitted (the woman is feasible to be named) resulting in a reduced amount of rapes being reported, even honest ones. Perhaps the woman's anonymity can be preserved, but the man should NOT be named when accuse, only when convicted.
I don't know if rape is really that calamitous. Most of the time, the victim would adopt money in settlement. Depends how much though. Correct me if I am wrong. I enjoy known of a luggage where a man be convicted of raping a prostitute, obviously he didn't compensate her for some reason or other.

I am seeing what is so apparently police bias and abuse of power contained by a small town of less than 2000 nation.
