What should happen within this situation?

My friend built a house for this lady but the female complained about the finished house. She claimed that the garage ceiling be too low and might not accommodate a large SUV, also that the quad did not drain properly, the windows stuck, in that were cracks surrounded by the ceiling of the great room, among other similar problems. The lady refuse to pay for the house because my friend breached the contract. My friend sued the woman. Did my friend breach? If not, what is my friends level of carrying out?
Answers: Your friend should fix unworkable conditions in the house, and later she can pay your friend what is owed. But the house should be surrounded by working order, I wouldn't take-home pay if I were the woman also.
Your friend and the lady should hire a (reputable) home inspector (together) and enjoy him/her them what is wrong with the home.

About a year ago I did not get hold of along with my boyfriend exceedingly well so we broke up and I signed a room mate release form next to my signature, his signature, and the complex's manager signature on it. After we broke up, he get evicted like 4 months subsequent. Now I get a collection see in the communication saying that I owe them money for the eviction too! I call for the complex and they say that the form we signed together did not be going to anything, regardless to the fact that I no longer lived within when my ex-roomate! Does that make sense to anybody??? I thought a contract be a contract?
Answers: I agree - this sounds like you are getting screwed. You involve to contact a real estate attorney and draw from a free evaluation. When attorney's see someone for the 1st time, they don't charge, find out what they think in the region of it. I don't know what the 'roommate release' form stated. If it said you be released from the lease, you are NOT liable. If it did not, you are liable. What the COLLECTION agent says is in the region of as reliable as what the plumber says.

I called within sick, at least 1,hour to supervisor, be suspended next afternoon?

i called within to work one morning,didnt feel right ,diabeties,was up, so company policy requires you to callout atleast 1,hour,ok we start at 8:00am,so i call supervisor at 7:00am,i get no answer i donate message talking the temperament of illness,so i come into work subsequent morning,to get suspended for three days,because supervisor told boss that i ring up in at 7:26am,which be a lie and the boss beleaved him and suspended me for 3,days. when i returned from suspension i be fired immeadiately,because the boss said that when i came sour my sick day,(the subsequent morning,the morning i got 3,days suspension,thee boss budge back to this morning)which i come in 30,minutes precipitate at 7:30am-boss showed up 8:25am,when i got to work to shelter dest ,security told me to hang up around in the deposit area until my boss come to discuss to me,so from 7:30am to 8:P25am i waited onlt to shift to rest room and return a few minutes and trhe boss say that be job abandement (insubordination)
Answers: gain an atty. also , you should go to your dr and attain a note , for those days you be out. doesn't matter what the point is . see if you can use your disability insurance to get you compensated . do you have bill from cell phone to show what time you made the telephone call ?

Am I entitled by law to help yourself to a full hour lunch working 40 hours per week?

Ive been wanting to ask a few question lately as I feel Im one unfairly treated at a company Ive be with for 9 1/2 years. One query is by law am I guaranteed a full hour for lunch when I work 35-40 hours a week? I ask this because Ive have to work 4 of the last 7 days thru my lunch break, and even though I know be short handed I grain that Ive been denied this simple right, I took a lunch later Friday and was told that I needed to report to my service advisors where on earth I work at, but really do i even have to ask them to dance to lunch? They already know when I go and that I purloin a full hour and yet theyre unfolding me how rude and selfish I am by taking a full hour, and afterwards I reminded them that lately Ive had to work thru alot of lunches, seem to me they can be reported for one being understaffed, and two for unsuitable treatment of good team such as me. If anyone out there can consent to me know what my rights are with this set of issues at foot so I know what to do.
Answers: The law requires you to hold 1/2 hour and yes you are required to take it! It's unpaid so why not thieve it.
Not a lawyer... but I dream up it depends on your Job... if you are a doctor or firefighter or paramedics or other emergency service then uhm... no you can't only take a lunch break whenever you want and it's more than modest that sometimes you will have to work through your lunch break.

But if you are not within one of those related fields later it would seem to me you hold a few options:

1.) Deal near it. Try and negotiate some overtime pay if you're on gross (if not you should be getting overtime already).

2.) Quit.

3.) Refuse their requests, go on lunch, find fired, and then sue them for wrongful termination.

4.) Report them to the department of Labor.
1/2 hr lunch. Do you procure paid for lunch? This can amendment things.

A few days later the city announced that the construction company breached the contract but contracted not to sue them but to build the center in another bit of town. My friend wants to sue the construction company to get better what she spent to expand the restaurant on the grounds that she was a third knees-up beneficiary of the contract between the construction company and the city. Will my friend win?

How long should I wait?

I am a senior within high academy, and this past weekend my mom go out of town. Friday night i have a party beside about 50 general public at my house, which went adjectives night minus a hitch (there was alot of drinking and some marijuana use involved). Saturday dark, I hosted another party, which be broken up by 3 cops about 2 hours within. They said that they had recieved a ring up from the neighbors regarding the crash (I don't know which neighbors). They had us dump adjectives of the alcohol and let the guests exit. They then took down my sister and my name, ages, birthdays, and phone number. They then told us that they would be watching the house, and the subsequent time would result in an arrest. It is in a minute Sunday, and my mom has returned. We own not been caught. I would similar to to know how long I need to hang around before have another party. P.S. please filch this question seriously, gratitude!

If he give you a note, don't respond posterior. If it's serious (threats of violence) then bring the note to the principal, otherwise, rebuff it.

Assuming he's under 18 (a minor), he can't sue anyone. Nor can a minor (you) receive a restraining order against someone. With that said, his parents can sue on his behalf and your parents can petition for a restraining instruct on your behalf, but if I were the parent, I would do neither, because adjectives this is is teenage drama (not worth endorsed action) that won't die because *both* of the parties involved won't agree to it die.
