Can I park in a teacher parking?

I just get a new saloon and I'm not very correct on stick especially on hills. The trainer parking does not have a huge mound to exit. There are no others in the other parking lot. Since its a public university isn't it ok for me to park anywhere even if it says teacher parking/

no you are not privledged to park anywhere merely cuz you got a foreign car. specifically the teachers lot and you will find TOWED. if you were allowed to park anywhere, every student would park within the teacher's lot.

So i let a friend of mine put her vehicle in my given name, and now she did something really stupid and unlawful.?

First of all, yes i know i'm stupid for even doing it, but i never thought surrounded by a thousand years she would do something like this.
she go through a drive thru pharmacy, and claimed she was someone else and took their narcotics. she even call them in to be jam-packed. we know this person (who she took the pills from) and that is to say how i found out that she did this.
the person that owns the rx calle the cops and bursting out a police report. to throw a wrench into it, i used to buy a few here and there from this personage. she said if the police question her she will remain silent, but i know my friend that took the rx will try to bring us both down. if it comes to that, and i stay silent and the rx owner stays silent, beside no physical evidence (i don't have any pills on me, surrounded by my apt or in my system), could i still be charged?

Is it possible to be arrested and booked for a felony, but then never be charged of the crime?

I enjoy a friend who was arrested for a petty crime but it be a felony, even the cops were annoyed, but they did enjoy to book him. It's been 4 months since his arrest, but he have not heard anything. Is it possible that one can be arrested for a felony, but not ever be charged or convicted. How does this work? I know the state of CA have 3 years to charge you. But they did confiscate evidence. Anyone with experience next to such things , i would like to know your thoughts.

Answers: It's exactly as Richard stated.

In California, you can be held for up to 48 hours (not counting weekends) approaching the filing of charges. If no charges are file within that time, you will be released. (A typical California detective is scramble on Tuesday mornings, trying to get charges file on all the those arrested over the weekend.)

Of course, that doesn't mean everything is over. The police can verbs to investigate, and charges can be formally filed latter. If charges are filed next, you will be rearrested, and held until trial, or until you post bail.

It happen all the time. The police can rightfully make an arrest base on "probable cause" - a pretty low standard. To obtain a conviction, though, the DA must know how to prove his case "beyond adequate doubt" - a much higher standard. It is properly unethical for a DA to prosecute a armour where he does not enjoy reasonable confidence that he can find a conviction.

You can ask the police for your seized evidence back. If the covering has be dropped, they'll probably just bestow it to you. If they're waiting on a decision from the DA they'll enlighten you that, and you won't get your stuff wager on until the DA makes a formal edict to not prosecute the case.

If they arrested and booked him, he have been charged. Before a suspect is booked a magistrate is usually presented with the charge and the evidence and the suspect is formally charged at that point. If your friend hasn't received a court date on the other hand, I recommend that he OR HIS ATTORNEY, contact the court to find out when his case will come up on the docket.
