Question on abortion?

I have heard from different people, politicians as well, that because a "fetus" is not a human life abortion is ok. But at the same time if a pregant woman is killed, it is a double murder. Murder can only apply to human beings. Any thoughts on this discrepancy?
Answers: Exactly. Also the lame excuse where they say that its the womans body and her choice. What about the babies body? The women is making the choice for the life inside of her as well.
Abortion goes way beyond "is a fetus a human life?" The simple arguments like this will never resolve the debate. You've found a couple of laws that identify a double-standard, so this is definitely an interesting question. But the abortion thing is stuck in its limbo state right now, because it's pretty obvious that abortions will not vanish if they're outlawed. They'll just become less safe.

Some policies intended to save or improve human lives can have a reverse effect. Years ago, a congressman from Iowa, in his well-intentioned effort to get kids out of sweatshops and into schools, proposed a ban on imports produced by child labor. The mere introduction of the bill sent factory owners in Bangladesh into a panic and they fired all their young female workers, forcing them to take more dangerous jobs, including prostitution, in order to help feed their families.

You have to think of the unintended consequences of legislating people's decisions, bodies, and lives. Whether abortion is "okay" or "wrong" isn't the issue. We have to be mindful of the consequences of whatever we might think to do about it.

There were tons different units surrounded by the SS. It was considered an limited second army. As such there be tank, infantry and other divisions, and as such here were thousands of member of the units. Many states were forced to go by those laws, close to here in Arkansas because state retirement is duty free and us military folks thought it was unwarranted for us to pay taxes on our political affairs checks.
