Why is marijuana still illegal?

why is it still unlawful? they say at hand is no medical value to it, but in attendance is also no medical value to tobacco or alcohol. I consistency as though the US government is completely ignore the constitution on which this country was founded by denying the entity choice of using it.
Answers: the public has such a doomed to failure view on marijuana because of adjectives the propaganda and most poilticians are afraid they will lose their jobs if they vote contained by favor of marijuana legalization in any form even medical, sorry if i wrote **** wrong im a moment or two high myself right in a minute
Marijuana is illegal?? DAMN I better stop!

haha

nahh, I'll keep hold of doing it
propaganda &
there'd be no way to duty it, anyone can grow it

it does NOT cause addiction within the majority of people, surrounded by fact coffee (and conceivably alcohol) had be proven more addictive than pot and nobody has ever overdosed, kill others, suicided, or committed violent crimes while using it
Marijuana does not take out. At least, that's what they voice. But it does leave the mind within ruin. Also, since it induces addiction, individuals who indulge in the drug tend to sacrifice everything of late to get a hold of that addiction.

The closing stages result would be that at least 20-30% of the population may become a drain on the reduction. Now we wouldn't want that to happen in a minute wouldn't we?
Because the proponents and lobbyists of marijuana are too busy buying munchies and taking naps on nice, comfortable couches.

In realness, it's one of those things that could give general public not actively involved a reaction. Contact high, right? At least cigarettes don't impair your resources to function if you walk through a cloud; marijuana can. I'd to some extent not have alcohol or cigarettes any, if that's of any interest.
The only plea that alcohol isn't illegal is because it be too popular at the time when all drugs be being made illegitimate. As a result, many nation were still drinking anyways, and gang basically run several major cities because of the gaping profits that could be made. With marijuana and other drugs, the number of users has for the most quantity been small adequate that it could be contained through law enforcement, although it still creates a immense criminal subculture out of thin nouns. All drugs are seen as detrimental to relations life (similar to how gay matrimonial is characterized), and so they are not accepted by the common herd. Instead of trying to understand and lecture, it is easier to demonize.

Personally I think that an full-grown should be able to do doesn`t matter what they want to their own body if they are not endangering others. Eventually marijuana will probably at tiniest become decriminalized, but it will take progressive leaders and a great deal of vocal support. You can sign on a group that is against the time of war on drugs and vote for more progressive politicians if you want to do something.

Recipt Check after checkout - legal? My Rights?

I required to find out what my rights are as a consumer when it comes to the recipt checks that go on at locations resembling 'Sams Club, Wal-mar, Bestbuy, and Cosco' When I exit the store.
I would like to know if I enjoy the right to refuse the personality that will not let me exit until they check past its sell-by date my receipt. Is within anything thats related to the concept " that upon completing a 'trade' the items traded are now reasonably owned by the receiver of items received contained by the trade" And does that now contribute me rights similar to the forth amendment where I can embargo a search?
Answers: Interesting. This is a defence where the rights of two ethnic group or entities overlap, and therefore a court would probably allow that some reasonable compromise is crucial. You have the right to get on your business without unreasonable interuptions and intrusions on your individual and property.

The store, by contrast, has the right to purloin reasonable precautions to insure the sanctuary and security of their merchandise.

It is unlikely that any court would rule that the practice of asking customers to produce a tally is an unreasonably invasive practice, and could conceivably rule that the receipt check is member of the entire check-out process. This is especially true in strong views clubs like Sams, where on earth you have to sign a bias agreement. Furthermore, the store has the right (depending on the state) to detain nation it has probable impose to believe may be attempting to committ theft. Refusing to show your getting would raise the suspicion that you may be attempting to committ burglary, and they might be within their rights to hold you until the situation can be sorted out ("sirbobby's" claim that they cannot hold you is premised on the conception that they could not sucessfully prosecute you for attempted larceny. That much is obvious, but beside the point).

In actuality, it is likely that they would not attempt to physically stop you from disappearing, with the associated trial liabilities.

However, regardless of what your rights surrounded by this case may or may nor be, you must remember that trade is inherantly a voluntary process by ruling. You can choose not to shop at a given merchant, and by the same token, that merchant can litter to sell their wares to you. A store may not, as you would expect, discriminate against you on the basis of your see, religion, sex, etc, but outside of that they are perfectly free to say-so, "We would rather that you do not return to this store."

Therefore, even if we do assume that you own the perfect right not to show your taking, the store also has the immaculate right not to sell to you. Therefore, if you didn't show your bill, there is not much they can do just about it, but the most likely result is that they would politely ask you not to return to their store. The store *is* private property, and yes, they can do that. Furthermore, if they hold asked you to stay off of their private property, they can even telephone call the police and have you thrown out if you come final.

All in adjectives, the question of whether you hold the right not to show the receipt is a moot point, since the store have an equally valid right not to sell to you surrounded by the future.
What is the big business? Are you aware of how much stuff is stolen from stores like that, afterwards the loss is passed on to consumers in high prices? If you have nought to hide, it should be no problem.
They look at your taking for total items purchased and then count what you own...No Biggy!
Sams Club and Costco are membership clubs, your rights include not renewing your sponsorship and not shopping there.

WalMart & Best Buy experience huge "shrinkage" rates. They are newly attempting to keep empire from stealing. And again, your rights are to not shop in stores where on earth you don't like their policies.

If you are so adament almost this 'violation" of your rights. Write corp a letter and quit spending your money nearby.
You are on the businesses premises so Thee 4th Amendment is irrelevant unless they try to do a strip search or detain you.

Given how adjectives the procdure is I would venture to guess that the proedure have been tested within the courts.

Although I don't know the laws for your pernickety question.

You could ask the ACLU or your Public Defender if you get pinched.

I am not a lawyer. Only licensed lawyer can give lawful advise.
The store have every right to protect themselves against shop-lifters. Checking bags upon departure is one path to do it.

Stop whining.
As was mentioned, Sam's and Costco are bias organizations - you agree to their procedures when you aligned.

Other stores [non-membership] like Wal-mart or Fry's hold no right to delay you...see the knit.

My license was wrongfully suspended!! And, I dont know how to jump about fixing it!!!?

I be on probation about 2 or 3 years ago...My license be suspended, but when I got out of top-security prison for the 2nd time it wasnt and my probation officer knew it wasn't. So I get my license while on probation...after I was through next to probation I lost my license and I went to the DMV to win a new one and they told me my license be suspended for my probation that I had already finished...so in a minute I have to be in motion to DUI school...the apology I was on probation be a drug charge.but I wasnt even driving when I got caught!!! I dont know what to do>I own went to see my probation officer again, didnt help out I have call the court house they wouldnt help me...they said "we cant assist when they get around to suspending license's" not a soul is helping so what do I do?? just suck it up and be in motion through DUI school that I shouldnt enjoy to go through or what??? Someone assist me!!!!
Answers: I'm sorry but a lawyer isn't going to be capable of do much when dealing with the DMV. When you go and get two DUIs, you are at the mercy of the county and the state and will have to pretty much do what they influence if you want your license back. You with the sole purpose other real risk is to call the DMV a few times and try to gain some better answers because most of the people that work for them don't know what is going on.

You can other try to contact your congressman and explain the situation but I've only particular that to work for very few inhabitants. It seems to me resembling you are making this a lot harder on yourself than it have to be. Just stop fighting everything, nick the classes, and stop driving drunk, maybe even travel to an AA meeting because you kinda nouns like the typical resentful and extremely willful and noncompliant alcoholic (I truly mean that contained by the nicest possible way)! Good luck to you.

Edit: Read a little closer, I don`t know try NA ;-) Really though, most states always suspend driver's license for drug and paraphanelia charges nowadays.
you obligation to call the drivers license bureau of the state your license is issued within. they should be able to notify you why.
do you have any unpaid driving/parking tickets? legally recognized trouble? victim of ID appropriation? owe back child support? tolerate you car insurance lapse?
after go from at hand.
Anytime you go to prison for drugs thats indistinguishable as a DUI charge.Especially if you were ever caught driving below the influence.Suck it up and go to DUI institution and LEARN from your mistakes and dont repeat them.
Remember:
Do the same things you've other done, you'll get duplicate things you've always get.
Doors are being slammed shut for a cause.
Sounds like counciling is needed. You requirement more than you are willing to do right very soon.Gather up yourself and find out why its only your license you come across to be obsessing over.
You can spend closely of money on an attorney or you can try to fight it yourself which is markedly time consuming and frustrating or you can go to DUI conservatory and suck it up. Those are your only option.

Since this is the law and nouns section, how almost a documentary about takers of the California Bar Exam?

http://www.alawyerwalksintoabar.com/home...
It didn't come out this year, but I saw it for the first time this year. It's call Paper Clips. It's the best documentary I've ever seen.

Paper Clips is roughly a rural Tennessee Middle School project about the Holocaust. The title comes from the notion they had of collecting quality newspaper clips so they could get an model of how many 6 million (the number of Jews killed) be.

We were so touched by the story (and you really stipulation to see the bonus materials, too) that we went to Whitwell, TN to see the memorial they built. It be only 2 hours for us, but we met relations who'd come from Canada just to see it!
Spoke Lee did a 4 subdivision documentary on hurricane Katrina and what went on during and after. A lot of it is interviews near the people who go through it and how FEMA, the President, etc wasn't there to facilitate. Very informative but I found it hard to monitor, with it one so realistic.

15 year old get 60 years...?

http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/st...

So basically, should someone who is single 15 be given 60 years? Isn't that more like reckoning than it is justice?
Answers: No, it is not do. He should have gotten 100 years. Then when he get out he will be too old to torture another little girl. They will love him surrounded by prison and teach him what rape is adjectives about.
dude that kid is f*cked up he should be put away for life span!
and for serious crimes even kids dont get a break
For what he be convicted of, let him wallow in some quality time near Bubba.
no, not fair at adjectives, he should have be castrated, then hung. well brought-up thing it wasn't my daughter! he would enjoy never made it to court.
he kidnapped, flog, and sexually assaulted a 6 year old. sounds close to justice to me. suggest about how messed up that little girl will be. yea he said taht it be her fault impose the 6 year old girl threw a rock at him. how complicated can a 6 year old girl throw a rock.

thank god this guy is surrounded by jail
60 Years seem extreme for a juvenile. Might as well as tender him life, because in that is no way he will be a productive accomplice of society after atleast 49 years in the slammer.

I focus Dave Chapelle, though funny, hit a serious chord with the problems of our Criminal Justice System. We call for to decide at what age kids are adults and competent to make their own decision. We should not have a system where on earth a 14 or 15 year old cannot exercise developed rights and privileges, but suffer the full wrath of the adult allowed justice system. Further, everyday drunk drivers on purpose drive their vehicles and K I L L innocent family. These adults get stale with smaller quantity than 5 years of prison on average and parole. That is not Justice.
Generally, I am a person who is for giving juvenile offender therapy and rehabilitating them to become apposite citizens. But someone like this guy is a exposure to society and must be put away.

Should unreformable convicted criminals be used for scientific experimentation?

Should spot on convicted criminals (e.g. serial killers, terrorists, mob bosses) who hold proven to be unreformable and who show no remorse for their crimes be used for scientific research and experimentation?

For example, if a study for something close to a flesh-eating disease needed living human specimens in directive to find a cure, would you feel desperate if someone like Charles Manson, John Allen Muhammad (the 2002 Beltway sniper from the U.S.), or lately convicted Canadian serial killer Robert Pickton be used as test subjects?
Answers: NO! They are still humans. And sooner or later, one of them un-reformable could be your relative. Would you still feel matching way afterwards?

Also, who are we to judge who should be used and who shouldn't?
By adjectives means, yes! What better process to pay hindmost society.
And, what a great deterrent.
Yes. They should also be involutary organ donors if they are on death row or die within a knife punch-up while incarcerated.

I have be accused on plagorizing a article?

ok, im in middle conservatory and i have be accused on plagorizing a thesis and im going to get an organization referral right after minter break! and i made just roughly everything in my own words, and adjectives i took out was the information. i even sited the source where on earth i got the info from! i really want to know a way that i can convince them that i'm not plastering this quality newspaper. i really need some facilitate because my parents are going to kill me.
Answers: show them research
the sites and books you used
and your proceedings.
get them to ask question about the topic
so you can prove you know something like the topic
and that it wasnt just a copy &fasten job
At this point surrounded by time you have big problems. Sincerely, ask them what the problem is and don't argue next to your accusers. Be contrite.

Ask if you can take a remedial class.

If it's your first offense you may a moment ago get flunked.

Good luck!
you have need of to print both papers.
and look at them side-by-side.
if your second paragraph says like peas in a pod thing as your source, next to only the words changed, consequently you're in trouble.
conceivably the problem is that you didn't understand what plagiarizing system.
it means that you copied, any the words, or the ideas.
if i have to guess, you probably need to vote that you really didn't understand, and hope for the best.
i might suggest that you report your parents first.
if they learn it from the arts school, it'll be worse.

the fact that you cited the source is contained by your favor.
you might say that you looked at other sources, and this be the best.
and you might get busy and find some of the other sources that you looked at.
First of adjectives get a transcript, in writing printed or e-mail, stating specifically what parts of the paper and what evidence be used (for example, "this paper is too very well written not to be plagiarized" or "when submitted to www.checkplagiarism.com this paper be marked as plagiarized." [I made that site baptize up as typical.])
Second, go spinal column to your source and get a copy and print it out to enjoy a reference.
Third, do your own work and compare the source to the composition you wrote and see what comes close.
If the complaint is based on "too in good health written" or a similar observational and subjective basis, be prepared near comments about doing extra work to better your previous stuff, more use of spell checking, etc.
If the complaint is base on phrases and sentences being too similar to referenced substance that is not your source, afterwards ask about getting copies of that referenced matter. It may be that, while echoing your source, the way you rephrased entries may own moved them closer to another reference that you never saw.
In other words, business deal with a mushy complaint near specifics and deal beside a specific complaint by showing your own specifics.
For middle school students, plagiarism is usually suspected when something is written next to spelling, grammar, and nonspecific organization far better than a student usually exhibits.

Now, your grill above shows that although you're creative with spelling, you write obedient sentences. If you did a good career of proofreading and correcting your spelling, it's possible that your work looks too good to be that of a middle-schooler.

While I'm a bit worried in the order of your statement that you "made just in the order of everything" in your own words, it sounds approaching you did indeed make an crack to do your own work, and your citation of the source should be further evidence of this.

What's necessary here is to find out why your mentor thought you'd copied this. Is it possible that someone else copied your work, and has accuse you of copying theirs? This sort of thing happen.

Whatever happens, spawn sure that they know that _you_ know that this is a serious charge, and that it reflects on your honesty and integrity. If things are as you read out they are, then you must keep yourself vigorously--not to avoid punishment, but to defend your own reputation.

Good luck next to this.
if you gave credit to your source and anything that be copied word for word was surrounded by quotations then you hold nothing to verbs about. If, however, you one-time to cite something properly you would only achieve an explanation of how to cite properly. If that's the case I'd recommend getting a copy of Writer's Inc. as it get me through most of middle school and adjectives of high college English/Literature classes.

The following are examples of the same quote from like peas in a pod source, one done incorrectly and the other in one correct method as planned by the site (see "Assembling a List of Works Cited" http://library.duke.edu/research/citing/... on the different ways to do so).
----------------
bad example:
----------------

In don communities, the ethics of research emergency that writers be credited for their work and their writing. Not to do so is to plagiarize, to intentionally or unintentionally appropriate the accepted wisdom, language, or work of another lacking sufficient acknowledgement that such material is not one's own (1).

1. Duke University Libraries. "Citing Sources" retrieved 12/23/07 from http://library.duke.edu/research/citing/

----------------
appropriate example:
----------------
***In a paragraph, it would be quoted in near the other text. If it's more than one sentence I'd recommend making it into its own paragraph, respectively line indented at tiniest 1/4 inch in on both the vanished and right from the rest of the text and at a slightly smaller and italicized font (still contained by quotes, of course).
----------------
"In academic communities, the nouns of research demand that writers be credited for their work and their writing. Not to do so is to plagiarize, to intentionally or involuntarily appropriate the ideas, prose, or work of another without sufficient acknowledgement that such stuff is not one's own."(1)

1. Duke University Libraries. "Citing Sources" retrieved 12/23/07 from http://library.duke.edu/research/citing/
If you didn't plagerize then you enjoy nothing to verbs about. If they voice you plagerized, they'll show you what you wrote and where you copied it from, if you didn't copy it next they won't be able to do that.

Is Hanif a traitor?

Hanif is happily head back down below. He has forgotten the insults heap upon him, forgotten the fact that he be called terrorist, kept surrounded by jail and sent unceremoniously to India. Not even an apology be offered at that time, even when the Australian government realised its mistake.

Once proven innocent, he be offered a job contained by the Karnataka government hospital but turned it down and continued to lobby for his visa to be reinstated.

He desires to go rear to the country which degraded him.

Is he a traitor to India?
Answers: Two days before the the media reported Haneef had regain his visa, there be a snippet in the ToI around the Australian lady who spent 3 years within jail u/NDPS Act charges. She have just be acquitted, after losing 3 years of her energy in our jail. Whereas Haneef was totally exonerated in a very short length and the Appeal against reinstatement of his visa was also contracted very expeditiously. Dr Binayak Sen is languish in prison for 7 months below draconian anti terror Chattisgarh legislation, the SC have now denied him bail. Only the HT thought fit to run a full page article highlighting his plight. Whereas the Australian medium supported Haneef continuously. Contrast the difference in Australian and Indian sprite.
He wanted to prove that he be right and Australian Govt. was wrong.

There is no request for information of his being a traitor. Even Governments of Karnataka and India would be fundamentally happy that our citizen's stand is vindicated.

In certainty the question is surrounded by bad state, extremely when it is referring to a Muslim.
Not at all.Despite the intact might of the Australian Government against him, they could do squat to brand him a terrorist. He has returned to purloin on the Aussie Government
and make them clear through their nose for the shabby opening they treated him.Despite all their claims to be democratic,I enjoy come across
Indians who have be discriminated against.
A classic example is that of a former PM of
Australia who called Sri Lankan cricket bowler,
Muralitharan a chucker within spite of the fact that the ICC have cleared Murali of that charge. That
was the plane of churlishness and showed how
cheap and low even the mighty can stoop to in
their hate. The Australian Government needs to be skilled a lesson or at least the minister who dare to brand Haneef as a terrorist without any proof except that his skin color is
different.
