I'm confused...?
So they have DUI (Driving lower than the influence) and DWI (Driving while intoxacated)They mean duplicate thing, what is the diffrence of them?
The just reason why I ask is because I hear a conversation eariler of someone saying they are better to hold a DUI than a DWI.
Answers: It kinda depends on the state you are in and which they consider worse.. i give attention to it depends on the level of your intoxication/drug use. If you are incredibly intoxicated im pretty sure its a dwi. sometimes family can get their legal representative to get it lowered to a dui. I dont read why they do it either it seem so dumb, why not just own one ticket for it, who cares if someone is mildly intoxicated or withered, it should be the same. i hope i answered your cross-examine :)
In Missouri, they are one and the same.
The individual difference is DUI is used for drugs, and DWI is for alcohol.
i've never heard of DWI
Isn't it great Vietnamese orphan Son Pham is finally going to achieve his facial deformity removed?
He not with the sole purpose was adopt by a family contained by Halifax, also he is going to get his operation done at a Boston hospital which Sick Kids Hospital refuse to do!That red head broad that spoke for Sick Kids Hospital as to why Sick Kids wouldn't do the operation be real stuck up snotty snob!
I stopped donating to Sick Kids Hospital for turning down Son Pham.
Sick Kids Hospital collects millions of dollars every year, they hold millions of dollars donated to them to help kids next to medical conditions and they turn down Son Pham?
They are selfish for turning down Son Pham.
People donate money to Sick Kids Hospital to backing sick kids, Sick Kids Hospital isn't supposed to turn down anyone.
Of they did turn down a kid for a reason after they are supposed to search for qualified hospitals, obtain in contact beside them, explain the situation and then own him sent there.
They didn't do anything!
Right on to the hospital surrounded by Boston!
Answers: I know, isn't it wonderful he finally got the assistance he needs... I hope and pray that he go on to have a able-bodied happy and prosperous existence he deserves. Thanx for the info on Sick Kids Hospital.
yes im very glowing for them

How come it's illegal to deface money, but you can glibly smash a penny?
It's illegal to counterfeit, burn, and deface money but somehow you can progress to places like disneyland or the hotels within las vegas and get a smashed penny or quarter for a souvenier. Isn't smashing a quarter or penny like as defacing money?Answers: The senate has offically ease up on the whole "smashing coins" entity. They do, however, prosecute for defacing quality newspaper money. Typically this is done to counterfit (i.e. take a $1 and label it look like a $100). Writing something on a bill (like http://www.wheresgeorge.com/ etc.) does not consititue "defacing". Defacing is altering the appearance of a bill so that it is no longer predictable as the bill that it is, etc.
PS: The government does not "track" coins. You'd own to imbed something in the coin to own some sort of serial number to track it, and that would probably cost more than the coin is worth, etc.
Note: Bills are made by the U.S. Treasury Department, coins are made by the U.S. Mint. So look for info on the Mint's web page, not the treasury's.
that's a real virtuous point.
is it really THAT illegal to deface money?
because if you rip a bill, you can run it to the bank and capture a new one as long as you hold half of it or more..
Here's the answer:
http://www.bep.treas.gov/document.cfm/18...
Defacement of Currency
"Defacement of currency is a infringement of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforate, unites or cement together, or does any other thing to any sandbank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national bank association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, *with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued*, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both."
[I used asterisks for stress because I can't use bold or italics here.]
You can write all over broadsheet money, if you choose, as long as you don't obscure the serial number, and/or denomination. There may be something else, but I suppose those are the only two things that issue.
.
"YY4Me" did a good charge providing the details. What all that rule legalese basically process is that it's only dishonest to deface or destroy U.S. currency IF you're doing it for the purpose of committing some type of fraud. In other words, you can perceive free to throw a bunch of $100 bills into your fireplace, stick them into your paper shredder, or brand paper mache sculpture out of them if you're really so inclined.
I'm a widow with social s. benifits and 2 children, when my son turns 16 does he gain control of his payoff?
My stepmother keeps describing my son he can get his social financial guaranteebenefits as his own when he turns 16 (very shortly). We live in Texas. Is this true?
I really appreciate the back, THANKS!
Answers: Your best move is to call the Social Security hotline (7 am to 7 pm, Mon-Fri) and ask them: 1-8OO-772-1213
The just reference I could find to age 16 be that if you (the adult) are receiving benefits solely because you are humanitarian for a child entitled to benefits, your benefit stops when the child turns 16.
I am on social security disability, I hold 3 children, My wife and children do not live with me. The money that go to the children is for the support of the children, the mother receives it, when my children turned 18 that money stopped, but that same amount go to my ex for support of my children, it is not for their personal spending, My youngest son will be 18 in 08, at that time adjectives monies will stop. Just call Your Social Security organization, they'll tell you adjectives you need to know.
Why don't people report protection racket to the police?
I was surrounded by a deli which was owned by filipino's and 3 russian men come in and one of them messed near the owner and the owner almost slugged the guy but he was held fund. The 3 men took beer and one guy went at the rear the counter and took something. Im thinking it was protection money. The other clerk yell " hey just pinch the beer and get out". I vanished the store and wondered why they dont just bid the police? Wouldn't they start a undercover sting?Answers: Because the police might be paid off- and seriously, the police don't protect individuals from protection rackets. If they call the police, they and every member of their family would need protection 24/7. I don't know in the region of where you live, but that humane of money and time aren't spent on the average citizen unless they are testifying against a giant up in the mob.
The police would be off them un-protected. Last month, a case surrounded by this city finally ended contained by a conviction: a man had kill a little boy and his mother because the kid saw a murder committed by a duly powerful drug dealer. The police did not protect them. People are afraid.
It could be that these unscrupulous ethnic group paid this shopowners debts when he be unable to pay cheque his debtors in olden times therefore succumbing the shopowner to anything they may voice or do...it is not an acceptable undertaking, however you do need to look at the reason why he is being terrorised by these scoundrel and unfortunately individual the shopowner is able to divulge this information which he may never reveal due to the threat explicitly constantly over him
A mnc announced a prize scheme but erstwhile to fulfill the commitment. what action 2 be taken when courts substandard
the mnc beverages co announced scheme of prizes for no.s on the bottle cap, but did not give the prize when a consumer claimed it. the co. took the plea of modification in colour of a ring around the bottle d¨Ścolletage later. consumer forum could not comfort because of some technical snag. no feat by police in spite of complaint. the consumer is poor fellow. what course of performance do you suggest for getting justice to him and training a lesson to the fraud co ?Answers: From your description, it looks like the skin has not even so been taken to the court system, which is the logical approach.
For poor citizens who cannot affort legal representation, near is small claims court. Do you ever watch TV? There are a ton of shows resembling Judge Judy that show people how that system works.
What is critically considerable is to take evidence to convince the authority that your story is correct. Because if it is he said she said, probably lose.
Legally, are stores required to check id for r rate movies?
I'm talking strictly court, I don't care if you look out-of-date or are old, are stores supposed to check ego no matter your appearance for you to purchase an R rate movie? If so, where would you find the regulation that requires it(link or web adress if possible)? Thank You!Answers: In Australia if the purchaser is a minor they cannot purchase R or M-MA rate items unless the parent is with them
yes...for ontario
google look into for your provincial/state laws
I live contained by California. It is legal for stores to ask for an ID. How else would workers know if children are person exposed to movies they shouldn't be seeing.
Alabamian here :), and yes it is part of Law codes within most if not adjectives states in the US
In my country, it's not essential.
yeah i think so... it is for sure near video games, i know that. My guess is that not many nation would bother to check though.
Its not a fine-print law, its a liability issue. If a movie rental store allows you to check out an R-rated movie, your parents can come and sue the movie rental place. If you have a business, would you want to get sued ??
Supreme court of the U. S.?
If a justice is on the court until retirement or release, and a justice did die, who would be the unknown justice? How do they pick the sprite? Can it be any judge surrounded by the U. S.? How fast would the ex regard as being be replaced? And what if the court was contained by session when judge died/ retired? What would come about to said case?Answers: The replacement Justice would be nominated by the President of the US and approved by Congress. Anyone can be a intermediary, but the President usually picks one that has Federal Court experience, usually from one of the lower Federal courtrooms. The ex-judge would be replaced as speedily as the Pres. can nominate a person that Congress would approve of, and however long it take Congress to do so. If a Case was contained by session, it would continue next to only the bench already assigned, with the majority vote decide the case.
This intensely thing happen just later year. Ginsberg retired and the Chief Justice died.
The President nominates a conciliator, the judge is question and considered by the U.S. Senate and he/she is either confirmed (hired as a justice) or not confirmed.
In the travel case of the chief justice, the creature who takes his place is after the new chief even-handedness.
The Constitution of the USA spells out that the President and Senate in Congress own to work together to select Supreme Court Justices ... they have to agree, if not the vacancy does not seize filled.
Usually the President picks someone, afterwards Senate questions the human being, and votes up or down. Constitution does not say it have to be that way. Senate could impart President a list of adequate candidates to pick from.
Many candidate don't get the mission.
President picked lady friend who be an experienced lawyer, but Senate refuse her for several reasons.
Typically when a mediator retires, that judge sticks around until replacement found. However, could be that the peacemaker is in hospital ... not unconscious, not retired, just out of circulation.
If some crust going on, they would need 5-3 to bring back majority.
The replacement judge does not hold to be a judge or even a attorney. If you look back contained by history, there enjoy been general public appointed to the supreme court who were not even a advocate.
This is pretty rare today, since we hold become a nation of the lawyers, byt the lawyer, for the lawyers ... 99% of the citizens in Congress are lawyer, they cannot conceive of any other profession in charge of USA.
Above answers are correct, except that merely the Senate, and not congress as a whole, confirms supreme court nomination.
Do you think that our country would be better run if the only law we had to follow be the constitutional?
laws? Just, drop adjectives the rest of them? Does anyone else think that we enjoy to many law?Answers: No, because the Federal gov't give the state gov't rights to receive own laws. There would be no dmv (sounds biddable but it would be bad idea) and adjectives states rights would be trivial. We would be a country of one big state, instead of 50!
Yes and half the law we do have nobody know them until your in a mess,And even later you gotta pay a attorney to do research fore you,To see what caring of case you might enjoy so yes i agree with you nearby fore the most part anyway. We fore shure enjoy way to various laws,God Bless
