Opinions on Leslie Van Houten?

I've been reading alot lately in the region of how some people accurately want to see her free and how other people are outright disgusted at the thought of her human being free. It seems close to it's all one instrument or the other. Honestly, I don't have an judgment on this because I'm not entirely familiar near exactly what role she played in the Manson Family murders (I'm working on it), but the agitation on both sides of this argument really surprised me and so I was lately wondering if anyone on here feels strongly that she should be freed or that she should spend her energy in prison? Thanks!

Answers: It depends on your vision of what prison is for. If you think we should just lock people up until they are "reformed", after maybe in that is an argument to release her.

But if you think prison is for punishment and retribution, later a life sentence in need parole seems more lately. She actively participated within two brutal murders and originally received the death cost.

Personally, I don't think she is a jeopardy now and may if truth be told do some good beside the time she has gone on this earth. But her release would administer support and hope to the rag sticky label bunch of Manson followers who still exist on the outside. My vote would be to keep her surrounded by prison.

BTW - Leslie Van Houten was not module of the Sharon Tate murders. She was portion of the La Bianca murders. She did not cut anyone's baby from their body.

She and the Manson tribe murdered innocent culture for kicks. They should never see freedom again surrounded by their lifetime.
