The Dept of Vital Statistics in the state where on earth I was born will not release my birth permit to me without a picture ID near my OLD name on it.

I've gone by my description my entire life and stopped using my birth given name on all documents over 25 years ago.

In establish to to get my PELL give up for school subsequent semester (less than a month), I have to bring them a copy of my birth pass. I'm between a rock and a hard place. I can't afford to hire an attorney to comfort me, and I can't afford to take classes lacking the student aid money. My heart is sinking at the possibility of not being competent to finish college.
