Answers: im answerin this question whilst wrapped contained by a real american flag right presently!
also i have ona shirt near USA on it and flag pins and a stars and stripes bandanna and watch

minus the authentic flag- this is my usual clothing preference both indoors and outdoors (i enjoy a jacket that looks like the US flag for wearing outdoors)

i am english and i live surrounded by england

i have a few reason for wearing this stuff
in no selective order

1: because i love the USA - its not in the region of being 'unpatritic' toward the UK - some of my flag pins hold Union jacks on and i have a shirt beside that on aswell

2: because love the USA flag - i think it is remarkably pretty
i am completley nuts about the US flag

3: because im sick and tired of the generalistic panorama Brits have of the USA and the USA parliament
i am in support of George W Bush - he may all right have made some mistakes but i do not believe a single moment that he have bad intentions- he will hold also been advise aswell but everybody blames just him and i have a feeling sorry for the poor bloke

There is no LAW against the wearing of a flag
it is not proper etiquette to wear a real flag- according to the US flag code (which is GUIDANCE not law)
unless you do it approaching Kid Rock - who cut a hole in the flag first back pulling it over his head- which i found very distasteful

there is zilch inthe flag code that advises you against wearing the flag on a shirt or a pin or other apparel
what is wrong roughly being proud that we live surrounded by the best country in the world? HUUURAAA

Do Zero tolerance policies work?

For example: Hugging, holding hands, etc.
Answers: ZERO TOLERANCE POLICIES = ZERO BRAIN ADMINISTRATORS.

This is true contained by all cases. If a kid can not pass another kid a hung to show love and friendship, you are just producing a group of kids who are anxious of showing any kind of physical affection. There is a big difference between a hung and ungainly touching. Zero Tolerance policies are just brain unconscious administrators trying to manufacture their work easy.

My kids institution lets kids bring asthma inhalers to academy, Midol and even pepper spray to protect themselves. My kids school have administrators who know life span is not "zero tolerance." They allow hugs and kisses and rather high fiving. Thank God my kids do not hold morons running the school.
within what arena are you refering to? High school? work environment?

In my work environment, we hold many policies that could plague landfills with the amount of article and legal relaxation to describe each and every type of policy out here.

The bottom line is that a policy, zilch tolerance included, is only as appropriate as the equitable enforcement of the policy.otherwise, is just BS.
It criminalizes an otherwise provoked action of endearment.

I take in what "they" are trying to accomplish, but otherwise natural tendency are making criminals out of 6 year olds who do not understand why it is "wrong". Most kids don't comprehend "Sex" until around the time their hormones kick surrounded by which is around 12 or so...

Zero tolerance needs to be on a grip by case principle and never on first "offense"
Sure, if they are strictly enforced they work. But "zero" in some instances is such an extreme that it is commonly unfair and inequitable. For example, guns in school, hospitals or banks or improper public displays of affection might warrant a zero policy, whereas something much smaller quantity extreme would not require such drastic measures.

Even though, you didn't want to get picked for jury test? Or maybe you did want to acquire picked?

Don't you sorta wonder why the lawyers didn't pick you, or why they picked someone else instead of you?
Answers: I get a subpoena for jury duty twice, got picked twice and question by both sides.

They asked me if I knew any police officer and I told them I knew every cop within my home town and my brother was a sheriff officer...they straight away dismissed me both times.

The third time I got a subpoena, I full up it out honestly as well as wrote a dispatch to the judge requesting that they no longer debris my time and the court's time because of my "Friendship" with a multitude of police officer as well as my brother.I hold never received another subpoena since then and it have been over 15 years. I after moved out of state.I have however to get a jury duty subpoena.
They stir by who you are and your life experiences. For example, read out there is a overnight case against a 21-year old black man who be dealing drugs at a high arts school. The man's attourney would pick uneducated immature people who hold had a history of drug dealing or crime, etc. to backing his case win. The other attourney would pick elder people who are smaller number tolerant of drug dealing, most likely those beside children of their own so that they would know what it is like to hold kids going to a dangerous arts school where drug deal are. Picking those types of people give the prosecuting lawyer a better destiny of winning the defence because the people are more imagined to be on his side.
They also go by see, police officers that you know, and your beliefs just about political matters.
They don't go and get to pick their jurors. They can only see off a few that they grain have a bias aka Voir dire. The rest are chosen inconsistently by their juror number. I've been summoned for jury duty three times(This be all between the ages of 18 and 25 Crazy!) One of the times I get selected to serve on the dignified jury. I couldn't do it though because they needed me for a whole month and I have to attend my brothers wedding contained by another state so they let me past its sell-by date. They can't kick you bad of a grand jury approaching they can for trial juries b/c you serve on multiple splendid juries so it's not only just one case and merely the prosecution is there; not the defense. But they do ask you if you own any problems or conflicts of interest and if you don't think you can do it, you can decline. Now that I'm a ruling student, I'm pretty certain that I will never enjoy to serve on a jury for the rest of my life. Lawyers don't resembling lawyers on their jury...or statute students.

Are most HMOs for-profit or not-for-profit?

I have be searching through articles and I can with the sole purpose find things 8+ years old. Anyone own a concrete answer with some upright evidence/reason why you give doesn`t matter what answer you do?

Thanks in credit!
Answers: HMOs and PPOs et-cetra are part of your insurance companies networks. insurance companies must kind a profit, i don't see how they could qualify as a not-for-profit . there are some(or use to be) companies that are self insured and they try to hang on to medical cost to a minimum but they still must be profitable to exist and operate. they possibly could be registered as not-for-profit if they can meet adjectives the guidelines but i doubt it.

How does a bill become a law?

what are the steps for a bill becomming a decree?
Answers: 1. An idea must first come from the public. Ideas start and are transmitted to Congress by lobbyists, public interest groups, PAC's, and grassroots political movements.

2. A member of Congress, any a Senator or Representative must then sponsor the bill.

3. The bill must be introduced to the floor of the House or Senate.

4. Referral Committee: With few exceptions, bills are referred to standing committees within the House or Senate according to carefully delineate rules of procedure.

5. Committee Action: When a bill reaches a committee it is placed on the committee's calendar. A bill can be referred to a subcommittee or considered by the committee as a unharmed. It is at this point that a bill is examined carefully and its probability for passage are determined. If the committee does not perform on a bill, it is the equivalent of killing it. The Committee Chair have the right to "pigeonhole" (not assign or hear debate on the bill) thus killing it.

6. Subcommittee Review: Often, bills are referred to a subcommittee for study and hearing. Hearings provide the opportunity to put on the record the view of the executive branch, experts, other public officials, supporters, and opponent of the legislation. If a subcommittee votes not to report legislation to the full committee, the bill dies.

7. Committee Action to Report a Bill: After receiving a subcommittee's report on a bill, the full committee can conduct further study and hearing, or it can vote on the subcommittee's recommendations and any proposed amendments. The full committee consequently votes on its recommendation to the House or Senate.

8. Schedule Floor Action: After a bill is reported stern to the chamber where it originate, it is placed in chronological lay down on the calendar.

9. Debate: When a bill reaches the floor of the House or Senate, in that are rules and procedures governing the debate on legislation. Amendments may be added to the bill at this time.

10. Voting: After the debate and the approval of any amendments, the bill is passed or defeated by the members voting.

11. Referral to Other Chamber: When a bill is passed by the House or Senate it is referred to the other chamber where on earth it usually follows the same route through committee and floor performance. This chamber may approve the bill as received, reject it, ignore it, or adjustment it.

12. Conference Committee Action: If only minor change are made to a bill by the other chamber, it is common for the legislation to be in motion directly to the President for signature. However, when the actions of the other chamber significantly alter the bill, a conference committee is formed to reconcile the differences between the House and Senate version. If the conferees are unable to make agreement, the legislation dies. If agreement is reached, a conference report is prepared describing the committee members' recommendation for changes. Both the House and Senate must approve the conference report.

13. Final Action: After a bill have been approved by both the House and Senate surrounded by identical form, it is sent to the President. If the President approves of the legislation, he signs it and it become law. Or, the President can embezzle no action for ten days, while congress is surrounded by session, and it automatically becomes imperative. If the President opposes the bill he can veto it; or if he take no action after the Congress have adjourned its second session, it is a "pocket veto" and the legislation dies.

14. Overriding a Veto: If the President veto a bill, Congress may attempt to "override the veto." This requires a two thirds roll call vote of the member who are present in sufficient numbers for a quorum.
I used to know this:

I'm lately a bill
yes I'm only a bill
and I'm sitting here on Capital Hill

Dang, what's the rest of that song???

Perhaps the most considerable thing to remember going on for creating new law is that it has almost NOTHING to do near the actual merit (good or bad) of the bill -- it is all roughly who has the power to take home your idea into imperative or bury it for the next ten years.

Simply put, if you don't own powerful allies in the council who achieve their own "political prerogatives", your bill will NEVER become directive, regardless of what a good design it might actually contain.
