What are my rights with self awarded Sole legal and Physical Custody?
I live surrounded by PG County Maryland, went through a divorce and custody proceeding and be granted Sole Legal and Physical Custody WITH reasonable rights of visitation. I represented myself so I dont hold a lawyer to progress to so I can fully understand my charge. Our son is 5 years old. The decide ordered every other weekend and various weeks throughout the year and some holidays for visitation and it be suppose to start on 10/5. The order be made when we went to court on 9/26. I enjoy not heard a word from him since 9/26. He have not exercised his visitation until sending me an email today. Our son is afraid of him and doesn't want to see him. I need to know what my rights are. Can I simply let the dad know that he can or can not see his son? Can I report him when he can or can not see him? If someone can give me some suggestion or some good thorough websites that would be great. If he is only just now wanting to see his child I smell a rat. Somethings up and I'd be especially cautious just about it. If he hasn't had an interest, why in a minute show up?
If he has be ordered visitation you can not make that edict to not let him see the child. The court is the one that decide that. You do have the right to pick the place though.. Ask the father to group at a public park with lots of kids so you can supervise. If adjectives goes ably, hopefully your child will have a father surrounded by his life.
Otherwise, you will own to go posterior to court and convince the judge your ex should not own access to him. Bring the email that shows the date of contact to prove there have been none..
Honey, he have a Court Order which grants him visitation. If you cry off, you could be held in contempt for anticlimax to follow the order. If you reject, he COULD call the police, who don't close to to get involved, but will assist him. You requirement to follow that court order. If your state have guideline visitation, and he was awarded that, in attendance are specific days and times he can see his son. Good Luck.

I have a Russian Wolfhound dog. I name him "Puck". I have created a professional-quality photo of him doing his favorite trick - standing up at my stove - I put an apron on him and it looks similar to he is cooking.
