What is the maximum that I can settle for in lawsuit?
Hello,I be curious, My fiancee is in a middle of a lawsuit beside McDonalds for a case surrounded by which earlier this year she be struck in the skipper by a metal pole that wasnt position correctly on a outdoor table and had driftwood and was not out of harm`s way. She suffered a mild concussion, and missed about a week of work for time past its sell-by date and doctor appointments. The Attorney at first asked for $7500 but McDonalds would like to settle next to $5200 which would cover hospital bills and then the lawyer cost which is 30% of the outcome. I Felt my fiancee is going to be in the appendage screwed over and need to return with everyones opinion. Thank within Advance
Answers: Split the difference. Its called "Negotiation".
This is McDonalds; they aren't going to court for 2300. Ask for the in one piece 7500; it's not unreasonable.
The atty fees for them to pursue the case which they already know they can't win will be more than that.
This is a decree you and your attorney must decide on.
One poster said they will nor exchange blows you over 2300.00 well that's not true, if and when they settle a travel case this sets the standards and conditions for other case settlements.
Also, they own attorneys on their payroll and it cost them very little to verbs a court case, even it it drags out for years surrounded by the court system.
File a case surrounded by court in directive to determine the correct amount of the case.
How much should attorney fees be for settling an estate? The estate is in SC.?
Answers: No means of access to call that. Depends on what have to be done, if suits were file, what court costs were incurred what deeds or liens be dealt near, how many hours, how much travel.literally a hundred variables. Could be 200 to 25000 $
pay packet me a million and I'll take fastidiousness of it for you no problem.
Turns out the bill collector was wanting money from me for someone else's rationalization?
I've been getting call from a bill collector for several months now. I hold telling them I don't owe any money, and to convey me a statement. Everytime they have call, they have claimed to hold sent a statement.Today the same woman call, asked for ME, and once again told me I had bills from 2006, and considered necessary to know how I was going to compensate today. I kept telling her I have talked next to the hospital and I owed nothing. At that point she told me she be collecting on someone else who lived at my address.
However, I have lived here, alone, for times gone by five years. She said our names be 'linked' in the computer, and that's why she be asking me for the money. When I got stale the phone with her she said she would grasp it sorted out, and get final to me.
Doesn't this violate the HIPPA laws? Why did she ask for me, and expect me to settle up a bill not in my label? Isn't that illigal? I got the pet name of the company and the collecrot's name. What do I do in a minute?
Answers: This actually have nothing to do next to hippaa, and happens outside the medical paddock. Debt collectors will buy the original debt from whoever it be owed in the first place. Then they name people near simular names, address and phone numbers hoping someone will pay somewhere. It is technically unlawful, but has zilch to do with hippaa. Its a scam.
Send them a certified copy of this dispatch and be done with these morons. I deal with matching thing where on earth someone used to have my phone number have some credit issues and they simply would not stop calling.

If they call again, give an account them it isn't your bill, stop calling or you will sue them. You might also call the hospital produce it is their screwup that started this and tell them to verbs their head fron their backside.
As a first offender for DUI can a human being be denied employment?
Answers: This depends on whether you were convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, and what considerate of job it is. If it is a work that will require driving on company time (whether it's your vehicle or a company vehicle) they can absolutely choose not to hire you base on traffic violations because it increases their liability and, if driving company vehicle, their insurance rates. Think about it, if you be to get into a wreck or something on the situation and it was discovered they hired someone knowing you have a DUI conviction they would probably get their pant sued off.
You're simply going to have to concordat with the consequences of your arrangements now that you own a criminal record. Employers don't HAVE to hire anybody, and if they carry two applications...one from you, one from an equally qualified person WITHOUT a DUI, guess who they're probably going to hire?
if ur applying at resembling mcdonalds or burger king then no.
but an organization job or even a available job with responsibilities besides customer service wont hire you.
sorry
Technically a individual can be denied employment for any reason. There are law that prevent this from happening base upon race, masculinity, or religion, but ultimately a person can deny someone employment because of the shoes they are wearing.
I would recommend that the human being who has a DUI does everything they can to show that this is not an issue.
No. But I suggest he/she not apply for any job that require driving.
Is this argument valid? why or why not?
1. Animals are ethical, simply because they have constructed no ethical guidelines to broach...humans do that.Secondly, they're ethical because they are never unprincipled...that is...their motivations and intents are pure...no event how we as humans choose to perceive them.
Answers: does not make any sense.
Define ethical:
1. pertaining to or dealing beside morals or the principles of morality; pertaining to right and wrong in conduct.
2. man in accordance next to the rules or standards for right conduct or practice, esp. the standards of a profession: It was not considered ethical for physicians to lay it on thick.
Ethics were not created for animals. But to some level an animal does know right from wrong but ethics would not apply to an animal.
Being ethical is contained by the eye of the beholder, so to speak. Hitler thought it was ethical to slaughter Jews...be it? I'd say not. Stalin and PolPot have similare ideas on what is ethical. But history and wits show their ideas be not ethical.
What of animals? Your question covers too yawning a range to be answered. Are marine cucumbers more or less ethical than a chimpanze or a contract killer whale? Chimps and whales have be shown to kill other creatures not for food or safekeeping but just for the heck of it. Are they wrong, animal-wise?
Or is killing only a potion of ethicalness? What of work ethics? Study nouns? Sports ethics? Is it ethical for A-Rod to adopt a $275 million salary to play a team game when the majority of Americans earn less than $45/year?
Your give somebody the third degree is abstract and without course or defence. It is philosophically charged but lacks definition or even "correct" answers. I find your question to be dishonourable in a forum such as this where on earth people are expected to ask question that have actual answers.
Your rhetoric is channel off, no it is not logical.
Without arguing the merits of nouns or animal behavior or anything like that.
Ethics are set up as a consistent constraint on rational behavior.
Since animals can neither behave sensibly nor therefore constrain their behavior reasonably (due to lack of areas of the brain that humans use for governing coherent behavior and thought), animals can not be considered "ethical" or "no-ethical". they are outside the system of ethics.
And yes, matching argument can be made for human beings whose brain function is impaired or not developed- is the man within a coma for 30 years an ethical being? How just about the infant just born yesterday? How just about someone suffering form any number of brain developmental disorders that render them unable to accomplishment or think reasonably?

Libel question Lawyers if any please answer?
Sam sent me and email asking if what they be saying on a message board be true about waht this guy did to John. I sent Sam posterior an email saying, "Yes, I know for a certainty that he screwed John over". I did not say Joe's designation I said "he". I also stated that "I would under no circumstances buy anything from this guy (I did vote this guy)but it was Sam's choice to do so if he choose to.Anyway, Sam forwarded this email to Joe. Joe in a minute has sent me a summons to sue for libel, Slander (even though it be not oral) and deframation. Joe lives in another state than I do.
He also stated within the summons that I said things about him which I did not. I didn't even mention his dub in the email. The summons if full of lies. What do they have it in mind by response needed in 20 days to the summons and what should I include contained by the response? Sorry for all the question but I was served today and I necessitate to know what to do ASAP Thanks for any help.
Answers: Libel is the written form of slander.
Defamation requires a false statement of fact.
That you said "he", not "joe", isn't a defense if, from the context of the messages it's clear who you be talking almost.
If what you said was true, or if you have a reasonable principle to believe it to be so, then it's not libel.
If you live contained by State A then that's where on earth he has to sue you, even if he lives on State B.

It be shared by the receiver to the target.
E-mail commun ications crosses state lines.
Sounds resembling a gag anyway, how was it served?
Have you widely read anything from this?
Never put anything in an e-mail that you would not want to see on the front page of a tabloid or TV News bulletin.
SOMEBODY pleeeasee HELP!?
I need to write a note stating that an employee who used to work for this company have been remunerated in full and they inevitability to sign it...so that they won't come and ask for money again because they keep lying and axiom they worked X amount of hours, but this is not a big company yet so they don't really enjoy any way to prove her wrong. so theyve asked me to write a notification for her to sign , but i don't exactly know how to write it. can anybody please help me? gratefulnessAnswers: To whom it may concern:
By placing their signature below __________ (Type name)
states they have be paid contained by full for all hours worked by the ___________ (type name) company and acknowledge they have no further outstanding donation issues due to her as of this date _________
_______________________________ (sign)
I'm sure some lawyer on here can be of assistance, but I'm sure if you state surrounded by clear terms that this notification acknowledges that the personage has be paid surrounded by full for all hours worked and the hand is owed no more pay, benefits etc and cashing of the final check constitues taking on of these terms, you should be OK. If he comes support, ignore him. To carry any additional money out of you he would own to sue you and odds are he won't do that. Not to mention he would own to prove his claim and odds are he can not.
Good luck
seize a lawyer or wallet a harassment report near your local law enforcement. That would almost be extortion if you ask me.

Here is a real "beaut": Labour sold adjectives the Playing Fields to Property Developers.
These are the same family who give confidential donations to Labour (like that feller Abrahams)
NOW, Labour is going to BUY THEM BACK!
At huge expense for Taxpayers BUT huge profits for the Property Developers.
This gets even better!
1. The basis Playing Fields were sold rotten ( apart from back-handers from profiteers) was Health and Safety.
2. NOW, 1000's of job will be created for Health an Safety Administrators and their minions to STOP kiddies playing on these newly-created Playing Fields!
3.A whole army of Lawyers will be employed to siphon Billions out of the cases of whether an "unsafe" Playing Field become "safe" once it is bought back from a Property Developer and expanded ?

Didn't we have a world-class tuition system before 1997?
Meybe every child will carry an education similar to those enjoy by New Labour cabinet ministers.
Why are we always so surprised? It is and other has be "jobs" for the boys. The whole political arena is totally corrupt, they cannot even stick to their manifestos, they pass over to tell us partially of what they intend to do once elected. We the great Brirish electorate complain and moan amongst ourselves whilst we sit back and permit these jumped up dictators run our lives for us. The childhood system has be tweaked and fiddled just about with for at most minuscule the last 35yrs near little improvement and lots of disasters, what be wrong with the traditional methods anyway? Everything that have gone wrong in this country can be laid squarely at the foot of those who profess to govern us and have the best interests of this country at the forefront. What a mass of c**p. They are self-seeking, power hungry, corrupt, self serving wastes of space. What we own completely lost sight of imo is that they are our elected representatives, put contained by office and WELL salaried by us to carry out the wishes of the majority. Well friends they enjoy failed and former spectacularly, in any other living they would have be given their P45s a long time ago. That goes for adjectives three main party as they all speak from equal a**e despite having different name. I suggest that we all convey an e-mail or a letter to Downing Street clich¨¦ simply "We have have enough, return with it together or your out". If a million or more did it old Gordy might only just be forced to listen Failing that do what the columnist Peter Hitchins advises, when the see comes write on your ballot paper "none of the above" next they will have to listen. Or do what I hope to do, vote UKIP. New blood is what we involve, the old dogs are so inbred is time they be put down.
I am with you as regard Mr Ed. The man is an idiot, and knows zilch about Sports or anything else. We hold a large Sports Field that abundant sports are played on it, but now its going to be taken rotten the kids to build a Sports Arena.well that might be OK but if its built the Kids will own to pay the Earth to run in and use it. They consequently lose out because a lot of kids cannot afford it, where on earth as it costs them nothing to play the games they want to presently. They are always yap on about children and they should be playing outdoors at adjectives the games.how can they if they keep building on them
