Why is this legal?
I only just purchased gas for my car and salaried with my debit card. The initial charge ($22) be taken from my account IMMEDIATELY. Why afterwards, is the company allowed to "hold" $75 of my money for 6 days? I see no logical reason for this except that they can, during that time, use my money to gain interest. Thoughts?Answers: Start a petition to stop this I will sign. Are you US?

When you first scan your card, they 'hold' the $75.
After the transaction is completed, and the system is uploaded with your actual purchase amount, the exact amount of your transaction is submitted.
The temporay transaction stays on your explanation for a preset grace period to be precise set by your bank. This give companies time to process their credit card transactions, guaranteeing them that the money is still there.

It isnt about interest. IT is something like guaranteeing merchants that the money they were promised will still be contained by the account when they process their deposit.

I regard it is legal because you are essentially purchasing 75$ of gas and afterwards receiving a compensation for gas not used.

I got arrested resembling a month ago for visiting an abandonded insane asylum... I thought since the state owned it it be OK but apparently not. Any list of places that are abanonded but it's not trespassing? I found a few links but they're matured so I don't know the names of any places. Retribution - Death Penalty?
My opponent is against the passing penalty and uses Retributive Justice.What are question to ask him that will "catch him off-guard"

that's inconsistent--if you believe in retribution, you are committed to the passing penalty.
if there's a arbitrary that you made a typo, you might want to try this:
do you think it's a devout or a bad piece to hurt someone?
if you do bad things, should you be rewarded or punished?
is retribution a form of reward or punishment?
so does retribution punish ancestors who do bad things? and isn't that exactly what you want to enjoy happen?

1) it does nil to deter crime
2) it doesn't send the universe out of sync if someone isn't kill in retribution. it's an evolutionary side effect--you don't mess beside people who will annihilate your entire family. but we live surrounded by a society now, not a bunch of tribes minus governments.
3) it is inefficient. the costs of implement it effectively and without wanton disregard for even-handedness costs a lot more than energy in prison.

It is the prosecutor's job to charge them to the maximum extent of the regulation. They should be tried as adults since they beat the kid to loss of consciousness. That is brutality, plain and simple. Their attourneys should plead it down to assault.
However, that stupid tree should be cut down. If the whole campus is going to exploit like children over a stupid tree remove it.

I agree with both the above answers. You should contact a legal representative, lawyer/friend, paralegal...someone with some experience within these matters. As a layperson it doesn't cause sense to me that your ex would be legally restricted from contacting you while you be legally allowed to contact him. If you're within contact with him isn't he simultaneously surrounded by contact with you?
