This is for a book that I am writing. It's based on Wisconsin Law. A man is convicted of a child sex crime contained by Virginia and when he gets out of penal complex he's put on the registry. He comes to Wisconsin under an assumed identify and becomes a Gymnastics instructor. When his ancient is discovered he is charged as a child sex offender working near children. His attorney convinces the Virginia State Supreme Court that the man never should have be convicted of the crime he was accuse of and the court sets aside his conviction and removes him from the registry. When his attorney files a motion to dismiss the charge in Wisconsin as a child sex perpetrator working with children on the grounds that he is no longer on the registry the authority denies his motion ruling that "Change in Sex Offender Status of a defendant charged as a child sex perpetrator working with children is not grounds for a dismissal because the defendant be still bound by the rules of the registry when the offense occured."

The why wasn't really impressive, I was told by the clerk that I could put down purely about anything. Because I am married, I have to have my husband sign the document as all right. If you are single, it isn't an issue. The court then run a background check on me to ensure that I wasn't shifting my name to avoid any legitimate problems, etc. I then have to pay $160 (fee vary by state). As of that day, my name were urgently changed. I received 2 certified copies of the document so that I could use those to change my cross on SSN card, driver's license, credit cards, etc. etc.

I was in reality quite amazed at how simple and sudden it was.

Go down to your City Hall or the Municipal Court. Go up and ask, they'll tender you all the information. Be aware it costs roughly $500 + court charges.
