Hi nearby, I have long be interested in starting up my own deposit company after completing military service. This would work on a contractual basis (for instance, a research and nouns establishment would offer a contract to guard and protect it's property and assets).I would aim to conscript primarily ex-military personnel, but would of course consider applications from ex-armed police officer etc etc. My question is, are any such private deposit personnel, working in the UK itself, allowed to be armed, given our civilina gun law?

Whether ex-army or not, no private citizen may carry a firearm stockpile as entitled by law, this is restricted to hunting rifles and shotguns (with appropriate certificates) and sporting rifles used for target practice.

I bought a new frame for my specs contained by May 06 from Boots Opticains, and I have nil but problems with them. One of the lens be not fitted properly.Finally I got a replacement frame yesterday, buy I hold noticed that presently both lenes are not fitted right.
I have be going back for roughly speaking 6 months to get the lens put right solely to be told, That is how it is supposed to be'
I am not a professonal, but I know it is not right.
As I was advise that these frames were suitable for my prescription, Can I go and get Boots to provide me with a completly different frame??

Answers: Keep going back. Their work is to supply the right lenses and ensure they are held in the right position for your eyes. Until you are healthy, they've got to preserve trying.
Unless your prescription requires very gluey lenses, most frames are suitable. Since frames come in a mixture of shapes and sizes, the lenses are cut to fit the frames. If you had a different design of frames, you would call for new lenses.
If you own astigmatism, what may have happen is that the lens you are having problems next to was rotated slightly when it be cut for the frame. However, this is a problem for the opticians to sort out. If you reach an draw, you can complain to their professional body.

You will be able to go and get a refund and bring your prescription elsewhere. this is your right as they are not fit for purpose, do not accept any further repairs or replacements. if each eye uses a different size lens they can sit surrounded by the frame differently. get a second view, just whip them into another opticians they can see if its fitted correctly. if not see if you can acquire a report from the other opticians (small fee) also ask the new optician to see what they would do if you be their customer with alike complaint. its good to achieve a comparison to go support to boots with.
but most obstinately if they are not fitted properly they have to correct them. any by mending them or by giving you a suitable replacement.

I ahve a couple of nice 2 bed flats lately outside London which I rent out and I ak for 1month deposit and 1 month upfront which is only lb1,400. Maybe, in the past you start whinging, try looking at places you can afford rather than whining give or take a few not getting a free house.
Edit: That is still more than is reasonable, merely have more credible expectations and use the deposit you get returned from your current place (assuming you haven't trashed it).
My ex husband and I be on the council list for years near no chance of ever getting a place to live even though we have a baby within a one roomed flat.
I understand they own to look after the more vulnerable contained by society ie those with children and disabilities but it does appear unfair that the like of you and me don't get a look contained by.

i think you are over exaggerating the facts. the local authority enjoy a duty to help you. You can apply for homelessness status within your position, then the council enjoy to find you somewhere even if its only impermanent accomodation.
Ask also if they will help you near a deposit, some councils have a mission where they will lend money for a deposit.
