Here's a few more untaught substances that you wouldn't consider putting into your body: poisonous mushrooms, castor oil plant (ricin), daffodil bulbs, elderberry root, poison oak, poison ivy, and the document could go for miles. In most cases the mind altering and frequent times harmful side affects of consuming plant time are simply the plants own defense mechanisms, they are intended to harm you!
I'm not sure if the THC surrounded by marijuana is considered a defense mechanism, and even if it be we know it's not very negative. The point is though, that the "all natural" argument is riduculous when you consider how plentiful "all natural" substances are adverse. Sorry for the rant, it's just a pet peeve of mine.

Hmmmmm...tough question. Are you unshakable the DUI is what is keeping you from getting a job? It might not be that at adjectives. It could be that you're not qualified for what you're applying for, you may not have the experience the employer is looking for.
An employer doesn't necessarily do a criminal framework check unless it's called for: police department, fire department, ridge, Federal job (in USA) or another soaring profile position.
Your question really didn't present enough details roughly speaking the position you were applying for. Were you in fact convicted of the DUI? A fine? Jail time?
Check with an attorney as to how you can go and get this off your copy. Some states require you to complete an alcohol rehab program and once you do, the charge is off your dictation.
