At the age of 18, you can do anything and everything that is permitted for any adult. This have been the covering since the age of majority was changed from 21 to 18 within the 1960's.

The UK has other been much more advanced contained by such matters consequently most other countries in the world. Much more advanced after in the USA, where on earth it is common within most states to prohibit drinking until the age of 21 as an example. Totally draconian.

18 in the UK is the age of consent. That it the age when you become and fully fledged. Your parents no longer have allowed responsiblilty for you. You are totally on your own and totally liable for your own actions. In other words you can do everything reasonably as long as it's legal

They are legal. but a scam for most of them. Make sure you read the fine print on the xbox, plasma sort they usually require you to sign up for 20 or so offers 3-4 which will cost you 100+ dollars. Also they are usually the end ones they show you so you have 100's of spam coming surrounded by and you still can't get the article.

What should be going through my friends head?

About 3 weeks ago a friend of mine have an AOL convo and the person he be talkin to said they were gonna gove his IP adress to the police. Nothing happen to my buddy for 3 weeks. But thursday afternoon, in front of his neighboors house their be an investigater from the PD. My neighboor asked the investigator why he was surrounded by front of his house and he said he couldn't tell (i'd assume thats normal). This raise the question to me, is this a coincidence or should he be worried. I don't know what to bring up to date em. On one hand why would it run 3 weeks for this and why would teh investigator stay in the motor for an online/computer type of issue and not come back the subsequent day at a different time when he conceivably home? But on the other hand within aren't too many bleak happenings in his neighboorhood so perchance they are looking for him. What do you guys think?

Answers: I don't see anything to be worried going on for. The cop must have be out there on a completely unrelated issue. If your friend have been accuse of an Internet or computer crime, the cops would have used a warrant to search out your friend's real address from his ISP and simply showed up at his front door to arrest him and query the place. If you friend had not be home at the time, they probably would have newly forced their way inside to collect any evidence they needed (such as his computer) and gotten to him sometime then. It's pretty common for cops to verbs over and sit around looking up information on their computers, as it's safer and easier than doing it while driving.

Is it illegal to get rid of gasoline to a minor?

My 12 year old son be told that he could not buy gas because it was against the imperative to sell it to a minor. We live within NJ and he was not going to pump it himself.
