A better word to describe your movements (and the one most often used when discussing university and writing) is the word Plagiarism. Whenever you write something, it is VERY defining that you give credit where on earth credit is due. If you intend to get a college training, you should know that Plagiarism is taken VERY seriously and you could fail an entire class or even be thrown out of conservatory for doing it!
