Depending on where on earth you are reside, this may require proof of U.S. citizenship, proof of residence, fingerprinting, and/or background checks. There is a tax of $25 for the license, and there may be other fees, such as a charge for fingerprinting.
You do need to be at lowest possible 18 to apply for the license on your own. However, a person of 15 years of age but smaller number than 18 years of age can obtain the license beside permission from a parent or guardian.

Does gun control help decline the crime rate?
Answers: If strict gun control helps fade the crime rate, why is Washington DC so dangerous? Why is at hand still crime in Chicago? Both cities hold strict gun control laws and giant crime rates, washington DC was and might still be the murder income of the united states.
Crime is cause by many things, glorious population per square mile and poverty are some of the biggest sources of crime. Banning the tools of a criminal won't stop crime, it will just restrict the rights of imperative abiding citizens.
I understand the Swiss issues a rifle to it's manly adult population and demands training beside it. For them, owning guns has kept crime down.
For the USA, gun control would merely work if we could get the guns out of the criminals' possession. Removal of guns from the honest public, minus disarming the criminals would be a disaster.

As a gun owner as expected I will say that control isn't going to fall crime. My thinking is that if a country is harmful enough (e.g., Iraq currently) after people call for guns for self-protection, and availability of guns would decrease the crime rate. But once you establish a civilized society, endemic availability of guns will benefit criminals more than honest people, since criminals will hold free access to guns and not all potential victims will be ready and able to convey a gun. So from the US's perspective, a little more gun control right immediately would probably be a good item.

Why do we brag about our Religious Freedoms when we the realness is, many candidate will be black balled if they weren't Christians, or at least fake it... To be clear, my view on the matter copy on the USA.
I find this to be quite a conflict for nation in politics. On the one appendage, the country was set up to hold Church and State separate, and to allow freedom of religion for the many inhabitants who call this country home.
But at matching time, political leaders often rely on both their own personal values and the values of the majority when it comes to governmental and things of that nature. Many associates get their values straight from their religion, not to mention that plentiful religions instruct their followers to spread those values to others.
So there are immediately many law on the books, both on a local and federal rank, seem to be drenched near Christian values and morals. Some of these laws deny culture things that other religions might allow. (For example, polygamy.)
I don't find it fair at adjectives, especially when it comes to governing the morals of citizens who do not subscribe to the majority religion. (Mind you, I 'm not talking roughly things like ritual sacrifice that directly infringe upon another person's civil rights.)
Although it would be terribly unconstitutional because it would discriminate base on religion, it seems the just way to hold religious influence out of politics is by only appointing atheists into political department.
The funny thing human being that in this hours of daylight and age, proclaiming that you are an atheist is often akin to political suicide as far as the voters are concerned.
But what really get my goat is how much religion does influence politics and law-making...and religious institutions are not tax like the ancestors who are ultimately governed by those law.
You can not remove it. It's that simple. People vote for canidates based on their own personal belief system. The canidate that fits best beside that gets the vote. Religion is a belief system for the citizens. You try to separate those two and see what you get..at best you procure wishy washy canidates that the people really don't believe within but figure 'why not'.
The item about it is that you can never separate politics and religion because
1) People hold the right to know what canidates' religious beliefs are. (freedom of speech)
2)Canidates have the right to believe what they believe. (freedom of religion)
The concept of separation of church and state comes from a Jefferson letter that be then used surrounded by the Supreme Court ruling. If this was the actual intent, next why have we be voting at churches for the last 200+ years?
