Can my friend be put on house arrest?

MY friend is 36, they have these charges : breakdown to appear (accident) and a probation violation. Everyone make mistakes. What are the odds of her one put on house arrest? And do you have to hold a lawyer or something? And also, is it as long as the regular detain sentence?
Answers: There are a lot of factor that go into whether or not your friend would achieve house arrest. First and foremost a lawyer for your friend is your best bet surrounded by getting house arrest. A public defender only does not have the time nor the resources to return with the absolute best business deal for each of their 100's of clients a year. Its no offense to Public Defenders, its just that their skin loads are just too overwelming. Second, you stipulation to hope that you get a District Attorney to be precise willing to breed a deal. Finally the decide can also change the sentence to house arrest if he so chooses.

Now in that are other factors as ably.does the court see that the failure to appear be an accident.and by luck does that mean that he basically forgot, the court tends to not look at that favorably. And the other factor is what be he on probation for and what did he do to violate that probation.

Best bet to increase the chances of House Arrest is procure your friend a good attorney.

If someone in Britain made a picture of Spanish royal as being donkey, chauvanist or other distrustful associati?

on (like corruption accusations) which is untrue, is it possible for someone/the Spanish embassy in Britain to craft a lawsuit on libel against the cartoonist?

My question: is it possible or not?
Answers: The Spanish royal familial, or the Spanish government on behalf of the royal ancestral, could probably sue the cartoonist. British courts have regularly allowed foreigners to bring libel suits against British publications.

And the royal family would probably win. Britain have very liberal libel law. If you sue somebody for libel there, you don't hold to prove that what they said about you be false. They have to prove it be true, and if they can't, you win. People who sue for libel in Britain almost other win.

However, if the Spanish royal family sued and won, how much damages would they be awarded? Probably none. No thing how insulting or untrue the cartoon be, it probably didn't cause any legitimate damage to the royal relatives. That being the skin, there wouldn't be much point contained by suing.

Furthermore, suing the cartoonist would probably cause seriously of tension between Spain and Britain -- the Spanish royal house would be accused of trying to suppress freedom of reporters in Britain, etc. So they undoubtedly would a moment ago ignore the drawing.

Hope is right. If he is an grown, and it is a public trial, then anyone can find that information out.

Blessed Be.

Aren't my wages private?

My employers at a hotel, apparently, lacking my knowledge withdraw somehow an amount out of my wage to cover a small account I have with the hotel. Are they entitled to do this. An accounting firm handle our wages so this was not simply done in-house, but sounds as if someone misappropriated my timebook - dodgy - are they surrounded by the right or should I have be informed beforehand?
Answers: Wait, you owed your employer money? They can garnish your wages w/o see. Most times they will let you know what amount will be taken, but no your boss doesnt want your permission to appropriate the money they gave you support.
FEDERALLY this was passed surrounded by the last year. they are even allowed immediately to sign you up for a 401 k and MAKE YOU PAY AND the company doesn't have to contribute!

they've manage to sneak in frequent laws similar to this. hell it started with phone companies and cable companies. thats why you should never reward them with a credit or debit card because they by LAW can appropriate charges out no matter what. even if you cancel-and dispute a charge they'll freshly take it out and speak..hahaha.

thank republicans for this
Employers are required by law to withhold income export tax and social security/medicaid deductions from your paycheck. Other withholdings may be demand by a court, such as garnishment. Finally, certain withholdings can be done by mutual agreement beside your employer.

By law, and it vary among states, but most do NOT allow arbitrary withholding of wages due to repayment to the employer, regardless of situation. The only process is for the employer to have a court judgement and subsequent command.

In countries other than the U.S., I couldn't right to be heard. Depends upon the law within that country. I think that Canada is pretty firm on procedure as to how wages can be appropriated to settle private debts.

Let's use an example; say aloud I'd loaned you a sum of money and you've never bothered to pay it rear legs. I can't just step into your home and take doesn`t matter what cash I can find to give pleasure to the debt. I also can't take your property contained by lieu of the debt. Burglary is still burglary, no matter how much you may owe me. I still hold to sue you for what you owe me.

Can I still collect child support owed over l0 years from out of state ex.?

Answers: it depends on the state you live in, the state your ex lives surrounded by, the laws contained by each and the status of the child support. That is, have it been reduced to an arrearage sentence?
Legally, yes. Practically, different story. 50/50 chance of getting adjectives of it.

What do you think are the root cause of crime?

Answers: lack of respect for self or others. surrounded by other words, something lacking contained by the way race are being raise.

added. it is not the lack of punishment, nor are libs to blame. deficiency of appropiate punishment in regard to the crime would be a more realistic statement. we own minor crimes being punished more than principal crimes
Greed could cause crimes such as murder, robbery and muggings, etc...

And lately psychological problems that seem to drive nation to kill or torture for pleasure, or to assuage compulsions.
Those would probably be the two biggest for me.

Of course you could talk roughly speaking assassinations for political power. But that kinda falls under greed I guess.
There are individuals who want to blame it all on the cavity between the haves and the have-nots, there are populace who want to blame it on the poor upbringing of our kids by yuppie parents, since they held the kids either too little or too much when they be babies, and there are those who are really nutty and want to blame adjectives crime on guns. Then there are still some indisputable wackos left who want to blame movies, TV, video games and objectionable song lyrics.

I blame drugs. This intact idea of "if it feel good, do it," perpetuate more by liberals than conservatives for certain, lead to drug abuse, which lead to property crimes, and at higher level leads to fierce crimes. Drugs are a big root cause of ALL kind of crime, and there is far too little discouragement of drug treat roughly around here. (I don't blame any political party for the paucity of discouragement, really, but it is interesting that drug abuse among teens be higher during the Clinton Administration than it is immediately.)

Another root cause of crime is the paucity of real punishment. That, we can blame the do-gooder liberals for.
Drug addiction...poverty surrounded by poor parts of the world...most crimes are about getting money to support a drug using lifestyle. Root result in of drug addiction itself if partly (in my opinion) a nouns of self respect and hope for the future, cause by parents/society giving up on young ppl I also believe there's a genetic rationale..

But root cause for most crime I believe is Drug addiction for sure, at least possible nowadays.
Roots.

Definitely roots.

Or race.

Definitely people.

Are criminal records taken into consideration surrounded by custody cases?

I currently have physical custody of my 1 year outmoded daughter. I have no criminal account and her father has an extensive journal including multiple drug charges. His parents pay a attorney handle his cases, is in that a possibility that he could get custody? Do they rob any of this into consideration?
Answers: Criminal record would not negate his right as a parent to visitation beside his child. But the court's first consideration is the best interest of the child and custody to someone with multiple charges would unquestionably not be in the child's best itnerest.

In reality, even visitation under such conditions can be specified to be supervised to ensure the child's safekeeping.

There is the possibility that he could get custody, but with the sole purpose if you permit it by going into court unarmed. Make sure you hold your own attorney, and a competent one who is experienced in such cases. Look up the phone number surrounded by the yellow page for the Bar Assocation in your county for recommendation.
I would hope not.

And I hate to nouns judgmental, but I guess I am surprised that you decided to own a child with a entity who has have multiple arrests for drugs. I would want a better father for my child.
yes they do look at that and the record of his spouse (if he is re-married)

i know this from personal experience..my son's father be suing me for full custody of my 9 month old son that he never once visit even though he only lived a mile away..(it be because his new wife couldn't hold kids) anyways 2 weeks before our trial started his wife be arrested for selling drugs and went past the judge 1 hour until that time our trial started (the same judge..lol...small town singular had one judge) ably the judge said that he wouldn't put a child into their home because of that and he lost his shield

What role does the media play contained by the perception of crime to the public?

Answers: too big a role. too much misinformation, not sure it is entirely their fault though. we want to have a feeling secure, but the truth is most of those surrounded by jail/prison are non violent offender that are not a threat to the general population. we are wasting too much charge dollars on the wrong crimes, the wrong tactics and the wrong toys.
The comfort the local corrupt law enforcement by helping redeploy stats, etc

If smoking is so bad why does the affairs of state...?

1. Allow it to be sold?
2. Not fine the growers and sellers?
3, Levy adjectives kinds of fines on individual users?
4. Accept money from tobacco companies?
Answers: Smoking is doomed to failure, and that is why we enjoy sin taxes. Just this year the tax on a pack of cigarettes go up $1. That doesn't seem close to much, but if you are a pack-a-day smoker that is an extra $365 dollars a year to smoke, plus the cost earlier tax. The goverment attempts to save people from buying cigarettes by charging a price to be precise high ample to deter buyers. It actually works surrounded by small measure. I one-sidedly smoke, and I can tell you that paying $5 for a pack of cigarettes is relatively a hassle.
1. $_$
2. $_$
3. $_$
4. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
It's because power-hungry politicians from tobacco-growing states want to keep getting re-elected, so they pander to the growers and the tobacco companies to hang on to it going - knowing how many society it kills, and that the parliament has to pay envelope for a lot of their precision.

Pandering means they pretend to close to it because the voters in their state don't want to lose their job, and the tobacco companies don't want to switch to some other crop. It would be expensive for them so they'd rather not do it, and the congressmen and senators jump along with it so that they can preserve getting elected to their high compensated job next to its incredible pension plan.

Stupid, huh?
.
1. Allow it to be sold? - Because the governing body makes alot of money from sale of tobacco products
2. Not fine the growers and sellers? Again, because they win money already by letting them grow it
3, Levy all kind of fines on individual users? It would be hard to track smokers
4. Accept money from tobacco companies? Because the political affairs likes money
1Because they can't stop what they allowed to be started surrounded by the first place
2They are Legal drug dealers
And they are making millions
We smokers are addicted
Yup we're drug addict
buying legal drugs
Supported by our Government
#3 that would be unwarranted
#4 That's how it probably started
Because it's... can you spell...
