Ok im going to ireland for st.pattys afternoon. Im 18 and was wondering if i be under the Ireland law or still the US laws.Answers: When I be in the Philippines, 18 be legal drinking age, so you are bound by the local law. Look up on the web what the lawful drinking age is there. Might want to look up how much a prostitute costs too...
You are lower than the laws of the country you are surrounded by.
A know a while back near was some legislation man considered to hold people to one and the same laws of the US while out of the country - but it messed up.
When you visit another country you are lower than their laws and if you break any of their rules you're subject to their punishment as well-- so when you're out in attendance drinking, make sure you don't break any Irish rules or you may be spending some time contained by an Irish prison!
Have fun!
You will be under Irish ruling as you will be in their country. I'd check to see what the nitty-gritty of their law is beside regards to drinking, and any other pertinent undertakings you may engage surrounded by while there. Their law could be significantly different for ours and you'd want to protect yourself by knowing the rules.
Have fun there, it's other cool to see other cultures.
Reality is that you are under the law of the country you are in at the time.
UNLESS logically you advertise that you are going to another country for the specific purpose of adjectives in an diversion that would be illegal contained by the United States. In that case, you could be arrested previously you left the US or when you arrived support in the US.
It'll be legally recognized for you to drink since you're under Irish ruling. And it's St Paddy's day, not Patty. Paddy is a label for someone called Patrick.

Should the Butcher whose negligence caused the loss of a 5 year old boy?
Face manslaughter charges?http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/6993508...
I can't think about what that poor little boy's parents must have gone through.
Answers: The charge should hold been manslaughter by gross negligence. While plainly there be no intent on the part of the butcher to wound or kill individuals, he be clearly in breach of his duties and responsibilties as a purveyor of food products, given his assumed expertise and competence within his profession. Also as reasonable personality he should have forseen that his discount or omission could have lead to fatal consequences.
you aren't american are you? our corporate food companies take out lots of children and pets -- if their toys dont kill them first. because our organization is good at covering up its negligence (they don't publish anything that would make them look bad) its estimated 5000 folks die annually from food poisoning every year. its estimated about 1/4 of the population have a food related illness annually.
nobody ever holds the corporations up for manslaughter -- i be surprised to find out people truly do consider killing those with contaminated food manslaughter.
Yes!!!,lacking a doubt.

There is much to be said for the rule of a 'just king' who shows experience in decide all posture of things. But over time that system does not hold up as the people running it lose moral foundations.
Our adversarial system is outstandingly good -- but is deeply corrupt now too as the lawyer do anything to win and people put money over moral rightness.
So any system could be the 'best' system for a given ethnic group at a given time -- if it is run in an ethical road for the good of the relations it serves.
