Can you buy a fire arm with a domestic charge on you within the state of georgia?

Answers: I hope to god not!
It depends on whether you were merely charged or convicted. If you hold been convicted of misdemeanor domestic anger charges, the Lautenberg Amendment of The Gun Control Act of 1968 makes it a felony to ship, transport, possess, or receive firearms or ammunition. It is a Federal Statute and take precedence over any state law.

Did They Handle The Situation Properly?

Well I had a situtation here at home roughly 2 hours ago where my sister's boyfriend wouldn't sign out the house. I was told by several citizens to alert the police whenever this happened. I'm 19 yrs prehistoric, the man is 21 yrs old, and my sister is simply 17 yrs old.

I call the sheriff's office (not 911) and told them someone be trespassing on my property (which he was). They sent two officers 15 minutes subsequently and I ended up mortal laughed at because apparently the 17 yr dated can invite anyone into our house that she wants to and I enjoy no say (the officer word's exactly) in whether he leaves or stays.

Now I have a handle on this may sound foolish, but my parents live out of state and they're letting my sister and I hold live in this house (here surrounded by Sacramento, Ca) by ourselves.

Was this situation handled correctly by the officer? What can I do now that my sister know I have no say aloud in whether or not her boyfriend can be here? What option do I have? (Locking her out isn't one of them).
Answers: I am afraid that your sister have just as much enunciate to that house and its company as you do. Neither one are the owner and both of you have established residency. The lone thing to do would be to find your parents to try and get a court lay down barring him from being at the house since they are the owners. That might be tough is they cannot show that he is a threat.

I am afraid you are freshly going to have any move or get your parents to see her out for now. Relax, though, she's 17 so they probably won't ending for long.
Actually, based on directive they are right. Your sister lives there and is an fully developed (at least considered one for this situation) and can invite anyone she requirements; and the second she invites him in he is no longer a trespasser.

If you are unwilling or powerless to kick your sister out (and I give attention to you are right for not doing so, she is family), then I believe that your singular other option is to stir to your parents and see what help they can donate you. They may be able to side near you and give you plenty help to influence your sister to stop bringing him over (or at lowest possible not stay so late).

But be sure this is really a problem. The wording in your paragraph suggests you don't approaching the guy, but it appears the dislike is based on his age. You name him a man, while calling your sister "just" 17 years old; which would suggest you see him as individual on par with a pedophile, freshly taking advantage of your sister's youth (and by extension, naivete).

But within is only a four year difference. And he may be a polite guy (I'm not there so I don't know, but purely a suggestion). Maybe you should see about getting to know the guy, conceivably you'd like him if you tried.

But assuming that you are correct surrounded by your assessment of him, then I would suggest going to your parents to mediate the situation. They may not approaching the age issue either; or the lateness issue, Lord know I would want my daughter hanging out near her boyfriend that late when I wasn't in that.
I also l;ive in sacramento and that does not come across right, the 17 year old resides contained by the home but that does not negate the fact she is a minor underneath California law, the man surrounded by question is 21 and an developed, there seem to me some sort of violation because the 17 year behind the times is still considered a child.
Call the police again and ask to speak with a sargent or someone more experienced than a cop who may hold only be an officer for a year or two.
I should have asked if the situation you are conversation about invoved any physical strikes or threats, if it did and the police disappeared without getting 21 year hoary to leave it seem to me that they are not upholding their motto "To Serve and Protect"
keep yourself undisruptive...

What's a good punishment for this crime?

Nine students surrounded by Baltimore severely beat a 26 year antediluvian women and her companion on a bus.

I already know what the liberal answer will be. Give the nice boys a cup cake because things like this develop. Or I'll be accused of misspelling a word and call a moron for caring for the victims here.

I deduce the best punishment is 5 years hard labor. I tight-fisted turning big rocks into small rocks. If not enough rocks are broken since lunch, guess what? No lunch.they can stop at 5 o'clock and eat dinner. Then put the little darling to bed. Maybe they will think nearly it next time they want to commit a angry act on an innocent subject. AAAAAh that's cruel.it's cruel to take away someones civil right to be not here alone, huh liberal. Thats what you morons always preach. So maintain smoking your pot and bad mouthing America, because we are rising.
Answers: Wow, I can be considered liberal to an extent.. visibly im not THAT liberal since I agree with you on this one, and be nice, we're adjectives equals here. We all own opinions, no necessitate to call name. lol
That's funny, I'm a liberal and I think they should carry the maximum sentence. Why do yo think liberals would want them to be permit go? Just because we hold a political view point different from you does not niggardly we want criminals roaming the streets.

Oh, and I've never smoked pot and never badmouth our great country.

I do, however, enjoy badmouthing population like you who proliferate unpardonable generalizations just about others.
why ask a question if you already KNOW the answer. Once you've gotten over your conspicuous anger, need for fate or venting and re ASKthe sound out, you may be surprised with the answers.
Good luck anyway
I don't know. I live surrounded by Baltimore, so I'm very up to date with the number of homicides and lawless crimes that go unsolved around here. I'll concede that I don't feel completely past the worst on the occasion that I occur to be driving through the city at night. I can't impart you an answer regarding punishment; I'm not habituated with criminal imperative or which punishment goes near which crimes. But I can tell you that I firmly believe that populace like this (kids and adults) should be taken stale the streets immediately for at smallest several years. Because to be honest, who are you going to be more afraid of when you walk down the street, a group of five teenagers or a group of five adults within their thirties? It's gonna be the kids. Kids are more easily brainwashed and swayed by what 50 cent and Cam'ron tell them they should be doing. If it were up to me, I'd enjoy all of Baltimore City gentrified. It's disgusting down here. And I don't guess liberals are your enemy. I reason that conservatives have well-mannered points and liberals have dutiful points. And there are idiots on both sides. If you can infer for yourself, and you make a conscious shot to make decision and formulate views base on facts, you may see that being strictly liberal or strictly conservative doesn't trademark much sense. And from this, you can conclude that political politics doesn't make much sense; but that's another story.

In the state of Virginia, can you sue for mental anguish and malpractice separately?

There is a $2 million cap on medical malpractice. If a parent be to sue for medical malpractice on behalf of a minor, would the parent also be entitled to sue for mental anguish on behalf of themselves? If so, what would the statute of limitations be for the mental anguish suit, if separate? (Normally for medical malpractice, the statute of limitations is one year, but for minors it is extended because problems from birth might not be evident right away).

The reason I am wondering if they can be two separate cases is that there are two separate plaintiffs (the child who be injured (malpractice) and the parent (mental anguish)) and in directive to maximize total recovery for the loved ones since there is the bonnet on medical malpractice.

Active duty Marine, does his car entail to be registered and inspected while hes gone?

Our city is trying ti impose a fine on us because our son's motor is at our home. It is unregistered and not inspected, he has be gone for over a year. Does anyone know if there is a imperative covering such a problem? We don't want to drive it, it's waiting for HIM!
Answers: In most states, if a car is parked on a city street, it must be properly registered. If it is stored or parked on your private property, the registration law may not apply.

Can't get more specific, since you don't say-so where you live or where on earth the car is parked.
First, depends on the state. But seem like contained by your state it has to be registered.

You enjoy an option on registering it as 'planned non-operation', essentially, you would need to compensate 'tax'. Its a lot lower afterwards the registration fee.

you can other register it for use after you file 'planned non-operation'.

merely call your DMV organization.

Good luck
all car's must be tag & reg. or non-oped no matter what state, no thing if you Joe Public or Active Duty
some cities and/or town have rules on where on earth a non-op veichile can set most perfer them to be locked up and accessable to the general public
But respectively place is different, check the bylaws of your county an/or state
In most states you can put the insurance on vacation or hold it suspended if the car is not going to be driven while a serviceman is overseas or doesn`t matter what. The registration and inspection is something you need to contact the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) going on for. The requirements vary from state to state.

Youth Offenders Act?

Which part of the Youth Offenders Act tell us something about youth below charges have the right to private visit from parents? Please provide full citation.
Answers: From what I can find, the Youth Offenders ACT is only the right for a police officer to bequeath you a "warning fugitive or a caution. Police can use them but do not own to explain why they did not. Under the Act, police must clearly justify respectively decision." "The Act aims to construct young offender take responsibility for their whereabouts, acknowledge the rights of the victim, avoid the cost and time of a court appearance and most importantly - steer childlike offenders away from detention. They do this by holding a Youth Justice Conference." -- nothing around visits or anything. Like it said within the last quote, -- "avoid the cost and time of a court appearance" so you would not be contained by a place where visitations matter.
