Post Office is forcing me to move my mailbox. How do I fight them?
2 weeks ago I received a write down in the e-mail that I was to move my mailbox because a haulier had tripped on my stairs.My mailbox is located 5 stairs up (not steep stairs) from my driveway. It is surrounded by an area where on earth the stairs stop and there is a flat surface. I don’t use the messages slot that was built into the side of my house as it bothered my dogs and for this reason I set up an easier alternative for that mail woman that has worked for years. Please keep hold of in mind that EVERY house surrounded by the neighborhood has stairs influential to their house and a mail slot contained by the front door which is where their messages is delivered.
After acceptance the notice I call the post office to discuss the situation. Over the course of the 2 weeks I called 5 times and my question were never answered nor my call returned. My mail have now be withheld for a week while I am still trying to talk to someone that know what is going on.
