Miltary Bill DFAS?

(Age 22) My Auntie received a Bill Last week August 25 2007 address to him stating that he owes DFAS (some military place I guess) $1,987.73 for not returning an issued item back within which was the Kevlar Helmet and the Armored vest that he be wearing when he died. Well actually I cant utter if this is what he was wearing at the time or if it be something that was gone in his tent while he might own worn a 2nd Issue of Gear.

DFAS is similar to the money manager for the Armed Forces. My husband be in the convoy, and DFAS mistakenly overpaid us after he was discharged, and is charging us interest on their mistake! As the governing body, I don't really see it as my duty to make rules that relatives have to abide by. My duty as elected representatives is to maintain charge, provide security from other govern societies, maintain disinterestedly owned properties (roads, parks, etc.) and mediate disputes. The person i subletted to diluted the apt, now the government office is going after me?

few months ago i subletted my apt to a guy while i traveled overseas
partially month after he moved out i received a mail from the running office said near is a severe water wrong in the apt and they are charging me $3000 for it. i didn't effect the damage so can i ask the guy for money?
We did not sign a contract or anything. That's the problelm but i enjoy proofs(e-mails) that he lived there while the prejudice took place and i have nouns ticket to proof that i was not within the states. Can i take the guy to the court and variety him pay for the damages?

I think at hand are several factors at work here, that may turn against you, unfortunately. Did you check beside the office beforehand you sub-let the apt? Is is allowed on your lease? Since you didn't sign any contracts with the sub-lessor at hand isn't much legally you can do to go and get your money. Unless, of course, the guy is a stand up guy, and a moment ago agrees to give it to you. I merely think that you can prove it wasn't you that tatty the apartment all you want, but the botom chain is the damage is near, and your name is on the lease.

I suggest you contact this guy, and recount him the situation. See how he responds...
