What do you think of this??Prisoners cost us so-?
Why not consent to the state make businesses that the prisoners would work, drycleaing, assembly or doesn`t matter what, services to the outer world, worked IN the prison-this will solve a couple problems-1-they will be paid TRUE wages, and a portion will be kept out automatically for thier room board food whatever
2-they will cram a skill and responsibility
3-another portion will come out for thier CHILD support, freeing the state from having to purloin care of adjectives the prisoners kids on the outside
4-We dont have to settle up for the upkeep of criminals since that will be deducted from thier salary
5-What do YOU think?
Answers: Many prison systems already hold prison business. However the profits from the business do little to offset the new cost of operations. You can read the business plan of the Washington Correction Industries here: http://www.ofm.wa.gov/budget/manage/stra... The National Correction Industries Association website is: http://www.nationalcia.org/indlinks2.htm...
I focus that is a apposite idea for those prisoners who are not angry and are not likely to flee.
What wants to be reconciled is how other people would act in response in seeing prisoners contained by society, how they are to be clothed and supervised and if it would withstand the challenge of the provision of our constitution against involuntary servitude.
What contributions has the ACLU made to protecting national warranty?
What legal steps have it advocated, or what litigants have it supported, to further the goals of enhancing our nation's protection and/or aiding law enforcement authorities within doing their jobs? Thanks.
Answers: None, to the other answerers, treason is defined as "giving aid and comfort to the enemy" Sounds plentifully like the ACLU does.
They are interested within preserving our freedom.
Politicians are to blame for national security problems. The Republicans surrounded by power are lazy self-serving joke. (generally speaking) They want the system to work itself out. That's the lazy and clueless instrument. Democrats and liberals want to actively seek out solutions because we don't trust the system to fix itself. Problems never purely go away. Never.
We inevitability to be working hard beside diplomacy. That is the way to in safe hands our freedom and safety. Why is this so difficult? You must know how to communicate honestly and with fairness. You own to find common ground and work from nearby.
None . They don't care just about national security, one and only individual rights. They have destroyed the belief within personal responsibility in this country.
What does a City Clerk do?
Answers: It depends upon the city. In New York, the Clerk issues marriage license and has a largely ceremonial chore. In others the clerk may be the keeper of court and property files, and may have other tasks. (In New York, those tasks are assigned to the diverse county clerks.)

Best approach for a North Carolina speeding ticket (72 in a 55 mph zone)?
I be going 72 in a 55. The ticket be written up but I was hand a standard sheet of paper that say "these instructions replace those printed on the uniform traffic citation." The back say I was cited for an infraction, court costs are $110, but below it say I was cited for a waivable misdemeanor, court costs are $110. So I guess I earnings one or both. It doesn't say anything just about the penalty tax.My number one priority is to avoid an increase in my insurance, and my second priority is to avoid paying the fees. Does a protective driving class before court help out or do you have to skulk until after? Is it possible for the court costs to be reduced by going to court?
Any help is appreciated!
Answers: Call the court. There may be a opening to pay the fine in need appearing.
You did the crime, now steal the punishment.
Talk to the states attorney and see if you can get supervision. You will hold to pay the fine, but if you enjoy no other violations surrounded by 6 months to a year it will be stricken from your record.
Good luck!
Like the previous poster said, you weren't thinking nearly your insurance while you were doing 72 surrounded by a 55, so, what makes it so crucial now?
Pay your fines.
First, you should contact the court clerk for the county you be cited in and breed sure that the sheet of paper next to the alternate instructions is valid. They will know if it is or not. Personally, I would question why they didn't get hold of new tickets made beside the proper instructions on them.
Second, there are three ways to avoid paying court costs. Going to court lately about insures that you will repay court costs, which is a fee for the court to grill your case. Option 1- if you can get hold of the charge dismissed, they will not charge court costs. Opt. 2- If the county's assistant DA will talk to you beforehand court and agree to a plea deal to be enter on your behalf, you won't have to be in motion to court, and no court costs. Opt. 3- If you get a attorney to do any of the above...many DA's won't discuss to defendants outside the courtroom invironment as they don't have the time.
Defensive driving must be completed beforehand any court date for it to help contained by your defensable position.
The last time I get tickets, I referred them to my lawyer, through Pre-Paid Legal Services, and he get the charges dismissed. No court costs, no court appearance, no points. You can check out the benefits of PPL at the website listed below. Unfortunatly, they require a strong views to be active for 15 days until that time it's used for traffic matters. Good for adjectives tickets though.
Can an under 16 move out short their parents consent?
if a 14 year old looked-for to move in next to someone whos 17 would it be against the law if the 14 year infirm moved in beside the 17 year old minus the consent of their parents... we are doing law and stuff contained by citizenship at skwl and i was only wondering about it but couldnt find it anywhere on the internet so thought at hand might be a lawyer on here possibly... ???Answers: Can't do it (at least not within my state). At 14, you're not mature plenty to make those sorts of decision. Absent child abuse (which would still win you moved into another home, not with a 17 year old), or such things, you're at home til you're older enough to be on your own.
You would inevitability to go to court to be emancipated, which resources you would be considered a seperate entity from your parents. To do this, though, you need to prove that you are competent to support yourself (not live on your boyfriends means) and are mature ample to handle it, as economically as show why living with your parents is detrimental to you. near are many kids out nearby who dont want to live with within parents anymore, and the courts know this, and most of the time it isnt really in the best interest of the kid, they lately think it is. So you would obligation to seriously have some well-mannered proof. Also if that 17 year old is your boyfriend, once he turns 18 he can win arrested for statutory rape in most states. All around its not a well-mannered idea to even try.
Plus, would you be trying to move into his house beside his parents? or just you two? He isnt aged enough to bring his own place anyways...
Sorry but the answer is no.
In order to move out from your parents home you obligation to be 16.
not possible you would be taken into meticulousness and if you were surrounded by a sexual relationship the 17 year old could also be charged beside statutory rape
No, unless your parents are happy to see you gone and don't report it to anyone.
Where will you go and get the money to support yourself?
Why do you want to move out? Is this 17 year old a romantic partner or of late a friend? I think most other answerers hold concluded the answer is no, and I agree, but I am curious as to what your motivation is.
Moving out at such a young age is a pretty harmful and risky step, you don't have a road to support yourself and whether you like or not you want a family at your age.
If this is a satchel of abuse later you need to communicate about it next to an adult you trust, a coach or priest or something, and even then in attendance would be a different course of action than moving surrounded by with a friend.
If you only just plain aren't getting along with you parents my direction is: wait it out, young adulthood can be horrible, but I promise it gets better once your hormones settle down and you can start out in a lawful way.
Stay surrounded by school, find good grades, don't get pregnant (or someone else pregnant if you're a guy) and take off for university when the time comes. You will be a lot better stale if you do, much more stable, happier and possibly able to fix your relationship next to your parents at that point.
In the UK you are not an adult until you are 18. You can move out or/and gain married at the age of 16...but only beside your parents or a courts permission. Anything younger than 16 is no
If you are within the UK and you need info in connection with to children and law you should read the Childrens Act (1989?? cant remember date) You can find the directive on www.directgov.org.uk
You have to be sixteen to know how to move out of parents home. If the 14 year old DID try to run and live with the 17 yr feeble, the police would look on it as child endangerment, regardless of any relationships.
Even if they were related, close to cousins or whatever, the social services at most minuscule would be looking into the situation to make sure adjectives was above board.
I KNOW of two sisters, one be seventeen, the younger one was single fourteen. Mum died with cancer and they didnt enjoy a dad either. At most minuscule he wasnt in the picture.
The elder girl had to be interviewed by the social services, she have to get a solicitor and it have to go to court until that time she was allowed to effort for her younger sister. Older girl won a residence order from the court, near a stipulation that the social worker visited them once a week, to ensure adjectives was as it should be.
hope I help a bit for you.
The legal age to move off home is 16. Ask at the citizens advice bureau for more info on this issue.
Whatever happened to truth worthiness and morality in the medical profession.?
How can we trust our doctors, when a troop of physicians blatantly lied, and covererd up the abuse, torture and subsequent suicide of inmates and prisoners at Guantanamo Bay?They lied for political reason. they were on the payroll so twisted the findings and lied to cover up the tons incidents of abuse and torture which drove so lots of these men to take their own lives. All of whom are incarceratred in need trial or recourse to legal backing and many of whom are completely innocent but do not own access to a lawyer.
It took a squad of honest decent physicians and psychiatrists from Europe, to reveal the truth of what in truth was going on contained by Guantanamo, the beatings the psychological harm and torture which drove these men to suicide.
ttp://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/americas/...
Read the report from The Lancet published this week. Whatever happened to the Hypocritic Oath and honesty, integrity and morality.
Answers: This seems to be an issue smaller amount about doctors and more in the region of what those entrenched in the senate are willing to do to preserve their positions. I am willing to bet that if duplicate group of doctors went to independantly inspect a chinese prison, the report would come spinal column similar to the European report. It's the nature of the independance at issue.
How can we trust our doctors? Because a squad of real doctors are the ones that uncovered it. It doesn't event where they be from.
Not all doctors are untrustworthy because of the schedule of a few. You'd think someone who is concerned as much to world affairs as you seem to would construe the distinction between the actions of those doctors and the establishment as a complete. Shame on you.
EDIT:
You questioned the honesty of ALL doctors next to the very first sentence of your put somebody through the mill: "How can we trust OUR doctors". I responded to the fact that, yes, whether you INTENDED to or not, you be "casting aspertions on adjectives doctors". Reread your question, you'll see where on earth you went wrong, and why I responded as I did.
My answer be in no track sarcastic, I agree you near 100% on the issue, just not on your approach. I be honestly surprised that someone who actually care, and was concerned to issues of global pressure was of a mind to say such a entry about "our doctors".
Bad relations do bad things adjectives the time, and good individuals occasionally do, too. The HIPPOCRATIC oath is something these docs should have remembered---but to enunciate that we shouldn't/can't trust our own doctors because of the actions of a small group who are MILITARY physicians---well, that's a reprehensible entity to say, and I call you on it. I'm sorry if I was amorphous.
How come they hand out violation like candy?
I asked a cross-question about a rapist and a murderer who's object was 11, that isnt deem of sound mind due to mental complaint to stand trial. All I asked was do you reflect its rediculous that that should matter. I suggest the person kill someone a child in a gruesome way, and everyone be offended that I mull over the man should executed either path. I am a mother, I let my emotion rule me when things like that take place, and I make no appologies. Everyone have a rigt to there inference!!Answers: It's because people hit the knock about button if answers or questions are not agreeable beside them. Yahoo has some strange reason for sending a violation make out. I had one second week and was told it be none of my business what the outcome of my appeal was. Go amount. They are better at that than enforcing their own rules.
I've be reading lately that if someone pushes the report button a violation is of late sent out..nobody reads it to see if in attendance is an actual violation or not
i get a violation for maxim "the answer is obvious"
They seem to basically delete any answer that is reported, instead of in reality having someone review them. Most of the time the answers are reported because the asker or some reader doesn't resembling what the answerer as to say.
I've gotten violation for using the word Jew...because apparently thats racist.
I read your posting and I think the betrayal may have be that it was simply not a grill. Here are two excerpts from the guidelines that may help: (numbers mine for clairity)
1. Asking clear question.
Keep your questions succinct, but be descriptive satisfactory to help race understand what you're asking. Correct spelling and sentence structure help folks find your questions, and you'll go and get better answers when others can clearly make out what you're asking.
2. Venting, ranting, or using revulsion speech.
Yahoo! Answers isn't a soapbox to vent personal frustrations or rant about issues. We are a community of relatives with diverse beliefs, opinion, and backgrounds, so please be respectful and hang on to hateful and incendiary comments stale Yahoo! Answers.
3. Chatting or otherwise violating the question-and-answer format.
Yahoo! Answers is a community of question and answers, not a chat room. If a post is neither a question nor an answer, it doesn’t belong here. If you’re looking for a place to chat near others, try Yahoo! Groups or Yahoo! Messenger Chat Rooms.
I totally agree that everyone has a right to their view.
HOWEVER, people do not own the right to be insulting, posting a rant, post sexual contact items or things in Spanish (on this English individual area).
People do report you for the dumbest things. I answered a question yesterday just about whether Terrorists were impossible. Well, that was loving of a "duh" question. I posted "duh." I be reported.
you're right, this guy raped and murderd a child he should be executed. some people, rich family, or people next to an affiliation to a good advocate can get away next to messed up stuff like that. one piece that's stupid is making people that bring caught with a weapon or drugs walk to prison over a rapist.
it's great that you give your true opinion on stuff.
I didn't see your original cross-examine, but I have read the community guidelines. If two culture report you, your question will be automatically delete and you will receive a violation discern.
Many people are reported because they are not really asking a put somebody through the mill at all. Instead, they post a ranting essay strongly stating their assessment and then throw contained by a rhetorical question a moment ago for looks.
Similarly, people who are responding to question can receive violations for making no attempt to in reality answer the question. I received one of these violation myself when I made a sarcastic reply to an noticeable troll who posted just to mete out controversy. Responses like "the answer is obvious", or "I don't know, but gratitude for the points", are not answers, so somebody hits the report button.
While everyone has a right to their feelings, that's not what we are here for. Answers is not the opinion subsection of the newspaper or an online political blog.
If you receive multiple violation, your access to Answers can be suspended and, if you are found to be a really bad girl, you can even lose your Yahoo sketch. So if this place is important to you, read the guidelines cautiously and do your best to follow the rules.
The violation could be surrounded by making speeches instead of asking questions, close to you did here. Still, I am fairly constant that no human is reviewing these things. Someone hits the report button and that is it.
Need help surrounded by Family Law. I am a paralegal though not experienced in kinfolk law. We reside contained by Florida?
I have a roommate w/2 boys(5 & 8), I enjoy a daughter(11). I have my daughter 24/7, she shares custody w/ her ex (time split). He only just filed for sole custody. Recently the 7 y/o have been picking on the 11 y/o recounting her to leave and petitioning mom to kick her out due to one an annoying girl (kids stuff). Mom had picked up kids for pop in & son was angry at dad (said dad too busy drinkin w/ friends & watching football) & his anger carried into an incident at the home wherein he be yelling at the 11 y/o & threatening bodily impair to himself. Roommate receieved an Emergency Motion to Modify Visitation stating the children couldn't be at her home while myself & daughter are there due to the 11 y/o bullying & harrasing the 7 y/o. They'll issue a stopgap order due to the "possibility of bodily damage to the minor". & roommate will not be able to own her kids. Is there anything we can do near regard to the nasty accusations around my daughter or the trauma to the boys who wont see mom.Answers: Get them to a counselor ASAP, and both of you (mothers) sign releases - then hold the counselor file a report to the court. The court is probably going to establish counseling anyway, and you both will come off the burning concerned parents you are if you do it on your own volition first. If dad was truly concerned, he would hold already done the same.
As a paralegal, you should know that you shouldn't bar this yourself. Especially since you admit you don't own experience in clan law.
You entail to retain a family canon attorney, (more specifically, your roommate needs to retain one), to push for on the rights available under Florida imperative. There may very resourcefully be steps that can be taken, but its unlikely that you will be able to accomplish them yourself. Further, you can't represent your roommate, one and only a licensed attorney can do that.
For a referral, contact your local or state bar association.
Your roommate can directory a response denying the motion & the matter will be set for audible range. It sounds like your kids don't obtain along. Maybe you both need foreign rommmates.
My ex girlfriend wont give me my coup¨¦ back?
Hi,I be foolish and took out a car loan on behalf of ex girlfriend formerly she became my ex. I hold full title on the car and registration. We have a notarized agreement that she would pay for the loan. reimburse all costs near the car ie insurance. She have failed for times gone by three weeks to make the first reimbursement and made no real attempt solve the problem. I said our agreement be void and asked her to return the saloon. She has not replied and i believe she may own left the state next to the car (maybe to Louisana but i guess i know the location of where she may be living). Our agreement did not state she could set off the state with the vehicle. What are my options. Can I report the motor stolen? technically she is also driving without her own insurance on the sports car as i removed her from my policy. I have no confidence she can preserve to our simple agreement and feel close to I have be deceived. I know this mess is going cost me money but I purely want the car posterior ASAP and sort out the car loan.i entail help
Answers: report a stolen vehicle, that will put together her mad too
If you hold keys, title, registration and know the location of the coup¨¦, go "repossess" it and consent to her sue you if she wants. When you be in motion, ask the police to accompany you so you will not hold a confrontation with her and so she will not report it as stolen. Of course, you will own to have insurance on it to drive it yourself until you trade it to pay past its sell-by date the loan.
It would not be truthful for you to report it as stolen by her. She had say-so to drive it. As for leaving the state, unless your agreement specifically said she could not move out, she was free to progress whereever that car could as expected take her.
If you do not want to repossess the sports car, you can sue her now for breach of contract, and ask for the full amount essential to pay sour the loan. But if she has departed the state, you will have some difficulty serving her beside the paperwork.
If the loan is greater than the amount you can sue for in small claims, you should see a legal representative for help.
What state are you surrounded by?
If you removed the car from your insurance and you know she is driving it you may be liable if she injures someone for the cost of their injuries. If you live contained by the same state as I do, you, as the motor owner are responsible for keeping it insured.
That said, you should probably report it stolen. Be sure to be honest with the police but if you own the coup¨¦ it will be up to you to see to it that your property is protected.
You should check with the loan co to see if she made any payments.
The first item you need to do is find out where on earth she is.
From there, I would phone up her (block out ur number or call from an unknown number) and let her know that if she does not tender you the car in # days, you are going to report it stolen or tell her individually, if you can find her. I believe this will give you the rights to nickname the police and report it as a stolen car at this point. However, you must communicate this to her.
Other than that, as some enjoy said, you basically hold to take her to court. Thats not going to do you much apposite if you can't find her to even have her served though.
Never purloin out a loan or cosign for someone unless you know for sure they are good for it. I will singular do it for my mom and thats only if I enjoy collateral. lol
