Answers: Hall ways & stairwell must have Fire alarm/ Smoke detectors. Also depends on how copious apts. Some states consider any bulding with over three apts. a multlable dwellings and are bound by somewhat stricter fire codes. Some citys reguire adjectives private homes & apts. to have smoke detectors. Have the Jena 6 been unreasonably railroaded, and can they achieve a fair trial surrounded by small town Louisiana ?

Answers: Yes. Its inconceivable that the white kids would get charged beside simple misdemeanor assault, while the Jena six get charged for attempted murder.

And no, I don't infer that they can get a neutral trial in La. Should move the casing out of state.
Railroaded, partially. Fair Trial, perchance or maybe not.

But please don't produce it sound as if they did nought.

The punishment may not fit the crime but don't do the crime and there would be no punishment at adjectives...

Injustice happens adjectives the time and take on adjectives colors.

Why can't I sue someone for slandering my dead sister?

My sister died within a car crash, but somebody put on their myspace pg that my sister died from AIDS. I be told I can't sue because my sister is dead. Why can't I?
Answers: Probably because you are not the party being slandered. Now taking offense on behalf of your sister is one point suing because someone slandered her after her being departed is another story.
A couple of things you can do are.
1.) talk next to an actual lawyer and see if something can be done within the legal arena.
if they are a polite lawyer they will in reality check for precedents ( which i am sure there are several). At the point that he/she finds something adjectives you have to do is start a LIBEL suit ( libel is for printed works such as websites, communication papers, magazines etc) against the party. As such it will probably go down as a he said she said type of item. UNLESS you can prove all of the following points
1.) your sister died surrounded by a car wreck.
2.) the human being in sound out has a libelous type of post on myspace dealing next to the death of your sister ( namely she died of AIDS and not the vehicle wreck)
3.) the person purposely posted the offending material contained by such a way as to variety it seem as though that copy of facts is the truth.
Now on to the second way you can carry at some one from a legal stand point is to simply contact myspace and speak about them about the offending page. Tell them it is emotionally distressing for you and those around you to own these lies posted for the public to read, and that it is therby causing a stigma attached to not singular your family's name but your own as in good health.
for two reasons.

1) writing on myspace isn't slander, it's libel at best.

2) your sister have not been harmed by it. it doesn't affect her adjectives prospects.
only ur sister can sue at that situation

How old do you own to be to pick up a prescription in New Jersey, & can you be underneath that age if it is yours?

What is the real age to properly pick up prescription meds, and can you be under that age to pick them up if they are yours? Also, does that apply to birth control methods contained by New Jersey?

Thanks
Answers: Minors are sometimes ask their age... not always. In New Jersey, underneath 18 is considered a minor and parental consent can be requested.

Go to a busy store like a Wal Mart pharmacy where on earth they probably won't care.
In most cases, age doesn't issue. You can't pick up a prescription that is not yours unless you are the parent or guardian of the creature it is for. sometimes this is relaxed for immediate clan.

I need help out from somebody who works with the imperative!!!?

K im doing this school essay on Police Officers who turn on the tenet. What happens when a police officer go against the law? Do they bring special treatement because they are a police officer? do they get wave for going against they law? things resembling that. i need this info asap!! please find some info on the trellis for me. thanks.
Answers: I don't know something like serious charges, but I know cops get awaay next to lots of traffic violations. Speeding, failing to signal, ruin to obey traffic signs, etc. If they capture pulled over, they just flash their prize and off they run.
The police department has an 'Internal Affairs' part that investigates cases where Police are suspects. In abundant cases, the punishment for Police is MORE than for civilians. As the first answer stated, minor violations such as speeding are regularly not pursued. The vast majority of those are not pursued against civilians any. If even 5% of actual speeders were ticketed, the average speed on the interstate would drop 10 MPH overnight.

In the 1966 case of Sheppard vs Maxwell, who be 'Maxwell'?

I'm confused on that. Since Sheppard was taking his guilty prison term of 2nd degree murder to the Supreme Court claiming that his conviction be unfair, shouldn't the casing read 'Sheppard vs The State of Ohio? I know there is some defence why it is against 'Maxwell,' but does anyone have an accurate permitted explanation for this?
Answers: The case brought by Sheppard be against the Warden of the penitentiary where Sheppard be housed.

Maxwell was the park ranger of the penitentiary where Sheppard be incarcerated at.

This matter is back the Court upon a petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed against the Warden of The Ohio State Penitentiary surrounded by Columbus, Ohio, where petitioner is incarcerated pursuant to a verdict of the Court of Common Pleas of Cuyahoga County, Ohio upon a conviction of murder in the second point.
When the Court took this matter beneath advisement, a pre-trial conference was held to discuss the procedures to be followed contained by presenting the issues in the casing. The purpose of that conference, and similar ones which followed, was to expedite the skin in its preparation and presentation for final determination. As a result of the first conference, it be agreed that all preliminary proceedings would be by pre-trial directives; those orders to be by agreement of counsel and/or by proclaim of the Court.

He petitioned against the Warden. The writ is a legal feat through which a person can aim relief from unlawful detention of themselves or another personality. While the state placed Maxwell in prison, he have to petition against the prison who is "unlawfully" detaining him.
In all possibility, Maxwell is some official of the state of Ohio, any the attorney general who prosecuted the skin or the director of the police agency or other agency concerned.
