Civil papers served today?
My husband is a paramedic and sometimes he gets subpoena's for court cases and those are usually deliver to the EMS department. Today on our door is a notice from the Sheriff's Department that he have a civil paper to beckon about. I hold seen on here that it could be a bill, traffic despoliation, etc. Well if it were a bill wouldnt we enjoy heard something like it before presently. I know there are no traffic violation. Im not sure what this could be and no one would be suing us that we are aware of. He requirements to think it is work related but Im not so sure since it be delivered to our house. I call the Sheriff's Dept. and the person I call for to talk to have left already. No one will confer me any information!! What could this be???Answers: It is most likely a witness subpoena for a baggage he worked. Some times the attorney's get crazy and want to serve the personality at their home to scare them. (It happen to me regarding a work court case) Have him phone up or go see the Sherrif's Department tomorrow and pick up the paperwork. They most probable won't give you information if it is contained by his name due to "privacy" issues.
You aren't mortal quite clear. Is the "notice" a summons and complaint? If so, the server can't depart it on the door, so it's a "bad serve". The summons, deliver to the home, must be received by the involved party, or someone who lives near him/her.
Oh.sounds like they want to serve him beside something, of get him to the station for something. Probably won't do any worthy to ignore it.

Answers: In the state of texas, people are caniving when it comes to lease. But i would definetly say you do hold a case to exchange blows for. After all it wasn't your blame and your landlord have to make sure that your "unit" is liveable and that go for the walls and for HIS NEGLIGENCE in departure his door unlocked and possibly putting everyone at risk if not you for that business which it did. Are you trying to find his rights terminated so that you don't have to purloin the child to visit him within prison? You could ask a judge to contain those visits to once a month. I don't know what a believe to be will say to that, but you could ask.
If he get zero income from work contained by prison and has no assets, next there's nothing you can gain from him. If he has assets you can be in motion after those.

For outlines, you can usually search for SBA outlines... you don't own to put in a college... once there, interested the outline for your subject and see if it matches your book for the course. you can also turn upside down on yahoo for the subject that you're looking for... for your search, put "contracts outline" or something similar to that. I've found that works sometimes.
This is odd, but the best place to acquire information for your casebriefs is wikipedia... they don't have a unbroken lot of the cases, but when they do have a baggage it's very relevant exceedingly complete information in a single place.

What probably should transpire is for wife or one parent to buy out the other parent, or wife to buy out both. The judge can't force that.
