When my husband was 19 he be charged with a "showery and reckless" in CA. Hi I want to voice thank you for responding to my question. Ok I live contained by Long Beach,CA. I enjoy both lisence & bike light too. Ok I respect that canon.Now here it starts. Last week at 4:00pm when I was on my route to work. I got stop buy a police vehicle. The 2 police officer's they stop me "because I was riding my bicycle on the "LEFT" sidewalk instead of the "RIGHT" sidewalk"??? I told the police officer that near is "no" sign's that say's that the bicycle rider must ride the right side walk just. The police officer he said nothing & not simply that, he put my hand subsidise of my head & seach me if I have any drugs or weapons. I also told them I be on my way to work & I own done nothing evil. That day I did not receive a ticket.
