my mother recently received a phone telephone from a collection agency about a "supposed" student loan she owes from when she supposedly borrowed from a "bank" (its a personal student loan. so they claim) wager on in 2004.my mother man in her untimely 50's has never attended college nor have she taken out a student loan in her entire vivacity. since she was confused roughly speaking the whole piece i got on the phone and spoke beside the lady and asked a few interview and told her that my mother never attended college and certainly never took out a loan ... after verify that the SSN# and the DOB didn't match that of my mothers.. at this point .. she (the woman from the collection agency) suggested that my mother might have be the target of Identity Fraud...
so... after verifying that adjectives the information matched... with the exception of the SSN# & DOB ...

On the other hand.. did you appear to get a given name and location of the 'collection' agency?? Or note the date and time of the phone up? It is possible they were the ones trying to initiate self theft. If they are lawful business, then that should grounds them no problems.

They cant be claiming money form you a short time ago becuase your name and address be used. A name and address is adjectives easily available information. If the SSN and DOB would own matched up with your moms afterwards you would have be really had a problem.
