There are huge differences between Civil and Criminal trials. Usually , in a Criminal trial someone is on trial and he is guaranteed the full Panoply of Consitutional rights that Civil Litigants are not. For Example the 1st,4th, 5th,6th, 8th amendment protections. Proof beyond a Reasonable doubt is required.
In a civil suitcase you may win as a Plaintiff for damages against a Defendant based on damages, and unless you are within the Federal courts, the 7th amendment does not apply to you. And the other amendments from the Bill of rights aforementioned do not come into play. You have two different burdens of proof. and so on and so on.
civil trial is to "recover" damages cause. Where as criminal usually ends with put in prison time or probation.

I own a lot of respect for you - great request for information. I watched the federal Med Mar hearing and there be so many committed pleas of ppl who had truly be helped next to serious illnesses. I don't get why because it is a plant that can provide pleasure to non-sick ppl that it is against the law. Or is it because it provides pleasure? I t is crazy how the most growing addictive substances are prescribed drugs. Why don't they outlaw zanax, oxcontin, morphin, etc. Why are these better than marijuana?

Answers: You are wrong, someone does care, lots of culture for that fact. We are tired of the girls and women who own pre-marital sex that do have babies, procure on welfare, and cause the taxpayers constant burdens of paying high taxes to not with the sole purpose take strictness of their families, but a women and children they be not responsible for making. I am sick of it. I can barely clear ends meet because I am single and paying almost $5000 a year surrounded by federal taxes. And the worst thing in the order of it, it was reported Thursday that in that is a 19% increase of teen pregnancies. It all requests to stop. Abortion is not a way to prevent pregnancies. I cannot believe the things I read on this site that teenagers ask that are have sex and wondering if they got pregnant.
