It is a bit strange - the US government call them illegal immigrant, yet the US rule looks the other way and even provides them next to a lot of benefits. Based on this - I wouldn't necessarily ring up illegal immigrant "illegal". Technically, it is a crime they commit but realistically they are not considered criminals by the US government.

What can I do to qualify? I've been out of work more than a year. I live next to a relative but that can't continue for long. I want to work, but it's rugged to find anything. Some 1-800 number guy called me and told me that our entry form be chosen and to attend a 90 minute speel. After the speel, I would be given a scratch-ticket, which would reveal whether or not I won the SUV or another prize ( Cash prize, Flat Screen TV, or a Cruise) .
The guy on the phone kept asking me how much my income level be. He told me he needed to be sure we could afford the tax on the untried SUV. Also, I had to pick a specific time to show up to the place where on earth I had to listen to the speel. I be told not to bring anyone other than my wife, because of predetermined seating. I didn't bother going to the appointment, it sounded really shaddy to me. I didn't want to meander up being scammed..

Misuse of SSI?

How do you feel give or take a few the person beside all the benefits of SSI but that disabled personality is abusing it to buy games, motor parts, etc, for his/her own living pleasures? (and still able to foot off the living expenses at like time)

I compensated Social Security Tax since I was 17 years elderly I started to receive SSI when I was give or take a few 50. It is my money I am receiving not some other taxpayers. It is also not satisfactory to live on. I am also a 100% disabled veteran and receive a tax free income for my military disabilities. These two items and the fact that I do not hold to pay income excise almost allows me to survive living in my own home, have only one vehicle that is 7 years older. I do get a better accord on food because of my military pension I am competent to shop at the Commissary. However, here in Atlanta surrounded by 5 years all 3 military installations will be closed and the closest fort will be 3 hours away.

As a disabled being I am allowed to spend what little I receive on whatever I want to spend it on. I enjoy read all the fine print on both pension and nowhere does it say I can't own a plasma TV or an Xbox. A communal Congressional Panel said VA pensions should be increase right away by 25%, but this year in SSI and surrounded by VA benefits I will receive a cost of living increase of a whopping 2.3%. I am thinking of buying a Rolls Royce with adjectives that money or just a tube of tooth attach.
