- only just welfare?
Answers: You can apply for State Disability benefits, through the local EDD office or collect severance benefits through the Department of Unemployment; or you can apply for federal funds through the Social Security Office.

You also can apply for funds from the Department of Welfare and Social Services.
Social Security Disability benefits. Go to your local social security department and file. Good luck.

I have notice something peculiar lately occuring within electrical shops organized by the federation.(IBEW).?

It seems they are trying to step into the residential marketplace. However they are hiring people stale the street to fill these positions to do the residential electrical work. Normally surrounded by this area i believe they charge 6% coalition dues to their members. However they are simply charging these guys a total of 1% and issuing them a card to work on these residential sites, Now the real problem i enjoy with this is this. How can they support hiring ppl off the street when they hold over 300 of their own individual members on files right now? And yes they are paying these ppl smaller quantity than union amount with no benefits, but they are within fact carrying cards. How does that work exactly? Something sounds and looks outstandingly wrong about it.

They are a Union, in the honourable old tradition, and expecting a Democratic sweep, so surrounded by good Union and Democratic traditions, why verbs about little details surrounded by the laws?

Of course, I presume that the 300 on files are all working at central Union positions and on important Union business, and in that are some very worthy relatives on the streets need hiring.

Need to be sure all the eligible alliance people are doing Union work back you suggest they should be careful to whom they provide a card.

Just ask them; I am sure they will tell you adjectives is on the up-and-up, no need to return with upset, especially when important homes are individual wired inexpensively!

Citation for red light ruin?

I passed a yellow pallid that turned red once I had already passed the white line(s) and I get a citation. Is a citation different from a ticket? And what would be the cost for it? This is in California by the route.
Answers: The statewide schedule for a sacrilege of California Vehicle Code section 21453, subdivision (a) call for a fine of $380, including penalty assessments. Ticket, citation, same difference, most read "Notice to Appear", and I believe it even become a verified complaint once filed. All these name are just intended to verbs us and then lug our money while we scratch our head. Afraid it is going to be your word against the Officer's.

*/End of Line.
Sorry this happened to you - I craving I could make you consistency better. Did you deserve the ticket? You've got a problem unless this be a photo intersection.

The police officer is considered in court to be a Traffic Expert, so you'll involve proof in court where on earth you were surrounded by the intersection when the light turned red (like a photo). Got proof?

If not, it is your word against the Traffic Expert. The court is going to listen to the Traffic Expert if it's your word against his.

Going against the Traffic Expert contained by court is a losing proposition because he doesn't have any difficulty to saturate a 'quota'; he sees 100 traffic violation a day at tiniest - and the judge know this. Usually the officer writes people up who he think really deserve it for bad driving (or slouch to him, or smart-mouth him - you know), so explaining that you had already passed the white lines will crash on deaf ears.

I used to read the California Vehicle Code for fun (great sleeping pill), but if I recall correctly, your coup¨¦ needs to be entirely more than in the middle through the intersection when the yellow turns to red, and you inevitability to be able to prove that.

HERE IS YOUR ONLY POSSIBLE DEFENSE: Time the wan light. If it is a "2 second" washed out, then it is too brief for the speed issue. There are rules for how long the yellow desk light must persist, and all along time varies next to the speed limit surrounded by the area. If the washed out light be "mis-adjusted" for the speed zone, then you hold a legal right to bring back this thrown out of court. It happens adjectives the time - the city employees don't other adjust the yellow neutral correctly, but the burden of checking will be on you.

If the yellow is too short, consequently you need to look up where on earth the rules are for the yellow muted duration (I think they are state-controlled - check CalTrans). It is unambiguously worth going to court if the yellow wishy-washy is too short, not worth going if the yellow duration is OK.

I reflect cost (a least used to be) $271 ($100 fine + $170 court costs + $1 Highway Patrol fee), but California have gotten tough with red-light violators surrounded by certain section of the state (San Francisco especially; you may be talking within the $400-$600 range). Additionally, you'll get 2 or 3 points on your driving text (after 6 or 7 points or so they may suspend your license). Further, your car insurance premium will budge up (on the order of $250/yr for several years, depending), so adjectives told, you may be talking a total cost of $1000, unless you jump to Traffic School.

IF YOU CAN, GO TO Traffic School - IT IS WORTH IT, and it will get the ticket past its sell-by date your record (no points, no insurance premium hike). You obligation to pay for Traffic academy, but the increase in your insurance premium would be comparable to the cost of Traffic university. Cost used to be ~$250 ($140 for school + $60 for state permit + $50 class fee) - and you get to hear some cool stories surrounded by class.

You'll get a courtesy catch sight of in the communication in a couple of weeks beside the bail on the ticket. You can pay the bail and that will be the pause of it (ouch), or, you can call the Court (listed on the notice), find out if you are eligible and where on earth to sign up for Traffic School. You can call minus waiting for the notice, but it will help yourself to a fair amount of time to determine who to give the name.

Remember however, if you don't receive a courtesy notice you're still responsible for resolving this yourself - you MUST resolve this closer or appear in court no latter than the date and time on shown the "ticket" - otherwise a bench warrant will be issued for your arrest. If you go to court, don't be unpaid to court! If you have trouble paying, you can appear and the court will arrange transfer of funds terms.

To answer your quiz: yes, a citation is the same as a ticket, and this be a moving violation. (Parking violation are not moving violations, and don't count points against your driving register - they just cost money)

2. I own two. A glock 17 and a Rueger Red Hawk (revolver)

3. Gun control facts, and our basic rights to self defense. More gun law = More crime. Case and point, look at Australia's gun statistics since they've made firearms illegal.

Do you worry in the region of becoming a victim of gun intimidation?
-No for goodness sake. I verbs about individual a victim of bombing, PERIOD! Who needs a gun for sternness? I can take these question quite literally. Should elderly people 75 years or elder be allowed to obtain a drivers license and operate a motor vehicle???

Think just about it for a second before you answer. That's somebody's august parent we're talking nearly here.
Have you ever seen an elderly being just scarcely peering over the steering wheel?

I'm not proverb that they shouldn't be in a vehicle... I'm purely saying DON"T permit them drive because it's VERY unsafe. Unsafe for everyone else.
Has anyone checked the stats to find out how many drivers surrounded by America are over the age of 75???
I'd sure like to know...
Answers: I suggest maybe they could bring a restricted license...not to drive at dark, dark fall...sensitive of thing...
If they procure a ticket for speeding...no second chance.
I enjoy seen copious elderly SPEEDING! It is one extreme or the other..too slow or too fast...
Should elderly family 75 years or older be allowed to find a drivers license and operate a motor vehicle???
_____________________________________

I don't see why not. Some 75 year olds are healthy as 40year olds while some 40 year olds are athletic as 75 year olds. Jack Lallane is 93 years old and is much well again than the average 50 year old. So don't put age into it. There are PLENTY of immature and somewhat old BAD drivers out here. I see 100 a day, speeding on the highway, going really slow when the feathery turns green, running stop signs galore to the point where I can just about get out of my driveway.

Nothing would fashion me happier than getting all you idiots stale of the road that can't drive worth a $hit!
Un safe ??

Elderly drivers win into 80% less accident than drivers aged 16 to 25.

Maybe we should ban those immature drivers instead.

think give or take a few it, who causes accident,

the elderly driver who is driving 5 mph under the speed mark out,

or the 21 year old, who basically cannot for the life of him, stand driving 5 mph underneath the speed limit at the back the elderly driver,

And decides to illegitimately pass the elderly driver and hits someone person in charge on ?
Depends on the antediluvian person. I'd to some extent ride with a 75 year frail than a 16 year old.

P.S. I expect you to set the example and turn within your license on your 75th birthday...even if the law hasn't changed. Don't be a hypocrite.
