Are we NO better than Brutal Dictators? I've heard some read out if this saves American lives next I'm for it..HUMAN TORTURE does NOT WORK...people will speak anything under those conditions.

Answers: Sure enough, some right wing psycho have to answer your question touting the benefits of torture. He is right - to a point. I could hook up a sports car battery to his nuts and eventually get hold of him to confess to killing his own mother earlier he was born. It might be amusing to do so, but is that sort of confession "adjectives?"

#1 Torture absolutely works. It basically doesn't seem to work for individuals that oppose authenticity (yourself included). You simply don't know, or refuse to become conscious the concept.

Spend money to house inmates, will this make crime rates budge down? Spend money on rehabs and educating criminals, will this make crime rates jump down? Teaching morals and holding people in charge for their actions is.
Except for that super small group of race who are actually wrongly accuse, most people are contained by jail for a principle, and they deserve it.

I am against life sentences. They are never going to seize out of prison EVER, so why support them? i say allow executions to be enact on anyone that has done something serious adequate to get a time term. Eye for an Eye and you will see deeply of future criminals deliberate twice. I dont care if they hold kids or family or not, if you dont wanna die or run to jail, dont be a hoodlum. Its EASY to avoid prison or execution, you in fact have to try to carry in at hand by being stupid or wreckless

We need to stop freshly imprisoning. We need to brainwash inmates into following directive. We also need to move off people alone if they are not out in attendance killing family, raping them, eating them or knock over banks.

Drugs are a problem, but the penalties bring as much trouble for society as the drugs themselves. (And when child molesters get out of prison faster than LSD dealer something is wrong--I'm not justifying the LSD dealer's actions, but if I hold the choice of which I'm going to keep within jail, it won't be him.)

Generally speaking though, I'd utter that most criminals are looking for that edge, that approach to get rewarded without working for it. They are convinced they can't brand enough money within a legitimate process, so they find illegal ways to supplement or replace that. Others are in recent times violent nation, and when they get put contained by a stressful situation (that normal populace would handle better), they hurt someone. I'm not sure nearby is a cure for either of those conditions.
Prisons should be reserved for those contained by our society that choose to murder, rape, molest children, assault people beside the intent to kill or harm. These are horrible crimes and the perpetrators should be locked up and never, ever let out again.

Prison is not for discouraging check writers, embezzlers, drunk drivers, B & E artists, etc. Money should be pumped into rehab services for these crimes, learning them the error of their ways. Also, when I say drunk drivers, I don't aim the drunk drivers that drive drunk and then eradicate someone-those are murderers in my book; I'm discussion about the guy who have a few too many and is pulled over by the cops for driving erratically. Don't want the MADD ethnic group getting...well...silly at me.
Less laws and better screening on officer. Half the people within prison are in on minor victimless drug offenses partially of them for pot. If we stop the war on drugs, we stop the overcrowded prison problem.

Now I one-sidedly don't smoke marijuana, but I do not see the harm, especially when those citizens are costing us millions of dollars to house in prisons. The state should not hold to take children of prisoners, that's what extended family circle is for. We should take thought of our own. I know I would take my nieces and nephews a bit than see them become wards of the state. We should not run easy on the offender though, having kids does not excuse you from your appointments. What we need to do is uphold family values. Most of the physical criminals in prison never have a dad around. Children need discipline, and sorry moms, but that's be dad's job since the establishment of time. It was my dad's undertaking, his dad's job, and it's my profession now.

Separation of Church and state means that the state cannot emphasize any religion better than the other. In other words, the church cannot regulate or influence your religious convictions.

I just don't see your point re churches self a polling place. I am a pagan and have no issue beside a church being a polling location.

They are not allowed to inform you what you can and cannot believe. To disallow voting in a church would be more unconstitutional, than allowing it. Why not allow it within a church? You can set up a polling place anywhere else, even in your own home.

If a church is being used as a polling place, that does not amount to a management making a law respecting an establishment of religion.

I own two kids by the same man. I hold always have them other than an occasional weekend when I would agree to their dad have them. He have never paid child support although he be told to by the state. No job, does drugs, no house ect. But I own never filed for court custody as he only call about every six months so I wasn't worried. Well, the other daylight he showed up at my sons school and told him one and only a few more days and they would be together for good. So I am wondering what rights do I/He own? Someone is giving our number to collection agency?

We've had our phone number for 11 months. About 5 months ago started getting collection agency call for someone we don't know. I've told the collection agency dozens of times that they have the wrong number and they promise to clutch us off their index. (Yeah right!) I finally had to directory a complaint with the FTC, because they are calling at smallest 5 times a day and we don't even bother to answer our phone any more. My husband call the collection agency and told them what was going on and (AGAIN) asked them to stop harassing us. The being he talked to admit that our phone number had be taken off the account multiple times, but was put hindmost on. According to them, the debtor calls them every couple weeks to update his phone number and keep giving them our number, so they keep putting it rear legs on the list. There's a obedient chance the agency is lying, but if it is true, can we press charges or database a suit against the guy who is falsely using our number and cause continual harassment?
