Does anyone know if it is illegal for costco to purloin away a membership for following their own return policy?
does anyone know if it is immoral for costco to take away a political leanings for following their own return policy? my brother has returned numerous items and costco have this in their history and took away his membrshp. costco have a policy that clearly stated " satisfaction guarenteed, if at anytime you are unsatisfied next to your purchase, simply bring back the item next to the receipt and receive a full refund" costco have since changed its policy to 90 days for electronics. my brother broke no rules and costco does not have it written anywhere that the repayment policy has margins. my brother is upset because he could have go to best buy and got one and the same tv with a warranty but chose costco because of the guarentee.Answers: I agree next to Prince Dog, you have to read the fine stripe, because they can reserve the right to take political leanings away. IF it's in Writing.
Also if your brother take legal endeavour, they will ask if he had the receipts adjectives the times he has returned the items. Because They will start to suspect fraud. Ppl try to return items frequently near no receipt, esp large ticket items, and even though your brother may be innocent, and followed all the rule, but if he did not hold a receipt adjectives the times, that's were the problem lays.
the ONLY mode they can tell you NO MORE MEMEBERSHIP its if he did not own a receipt, they will consequently take his driver's license or state ID information and will preserve it on file.
the more he tries to exchange or return the items minus a receipt he is put into their system. The more it happen, they tend to question why does he never enjoy a receipt??
I used to work at a Sams Club...similar to Costco and I worked within Smalls claims court.
they reserve the right to take away political leanings at any time and for any reason.
its a store, not your mommy and daddy, and if they don't muse you are a good customer they own the right to deny you.
Doesn't sound approaching he broke any rules.
But, What is your brother's history, did he have a tally???
In Costco's fine line, does it right to be heard they reserve the right to take political leanings away???
I understand your brother is frustrated, and heck, I would be furious, but from a legally recognized standpoint, if he should decide to lug legal management, answer the questions above!
PS that sucks. i will not stir to Costco.
They need to follow their own policy, and it sounds approaching they are. They also have a right to vary their policy, which could disenfranchise some members, which appeared to be what happen to your brother.
The unfortunate sector is that the few who abuse the return policy, or any policies, force the company to enforce tighter regulations. Ultimately, the company be losing money in the nouns of returns from people abuse the return policy. By making return standards tighter, they are able to set free money, and keep product costs down- which is the pretext most members signed up for Costco, not for their non-judgmental return policy.
If your brother has returned so copious items it sounds like he is a PIA. I wouldn't want to contract with him any. What's he doing...buying on impulse consequently shops around and returns if he finds a lower price. Or is he just dissatisfied beside everything and a constant complainer.
All stores have the right to refuse permission for service to anyone.
they can do that. you neglected to mention that they refunded his bias fee.
what is your plan in a minute? you gonna print out a reply from Yahoo Answers saying it's unendorsed and go whirl it in their frontage? grow up. they don't want your brother's business - he's a pest.
No it is not illegal, but I can figure out how it can be frustrating to deal beside.
Costco isn't the only one that keep these records immediately, you do understand that right? Every store that have a check cashing or record-keeping service gets as sector of that service a "heads-up" on customers who consistently return items.
So you might shop at Macy's for awhile and return a bunch of stuff, then travel to Palais Royal and find that they tell you at the time of purchase that here is no return policy for you because of it.
Bottom line is, mind your Ps and Qs how often you return stuff. Be a better shopper and find the stuff at the right price and right size beforehand buying it.
It is not illegal.
Although a return policy is enjoyment guaranteed, people who are chronically unsatisfied but verbs to subject themselves to shopping at a place where they no they will not be content need to be stopped.
Lets put it this road.
Would you continue to administer business to ap place that does not provide a satisfactory product or service?
Would you consider self a repeat shopper at a location a sign of satisfaction?
However if you hold somebody who insists upon doing business with you at a particular point you have to assume you are pleased,
By your brother continually purchasing and returning items he is most like trying to swearing the system. At a certain point Costco have reviewed his account and make out that he is a repeat shopper, however returns most of his purchases. They have assumed that by him man a repeat shopper he must be satisfied and that`s why their return policy does not apply.
your brother is upset, but Cosco has a right to hold away membership if they have a feeling something illegal is going on.
if you can prove them wrong, next you have a covering against them and sue.
Depends on the circumstances, yes and no.
Is it illegal to disclose third carnival business information? Privacy Act?
Answers: No the Patriot Act makes adjectives your business information, phone calls, websites you look in, and even the books you check out of the library avalaible
WHAT information?
What are some good points give or take a few the death cost?
For a class debate, we have to research different sides to the Death Penalty. I'm asking you guys if you enjoy any others that I can add to my document of reasons why we should hang on to it.Answers: I know I have answered this somewhere else, but I will repeat.
I am for it.
I work out that mistakes are made, and science is helping to reduce those mistakes.
that said...
When a crime, a uncontrolled vicious crime is caught on tape when they are caught literally red hand committing these violent act, I have issues beside the presumed innocent part.
I detest that victims and their family are forced to pay for the upkeep of these those in prison, where on earth they are afforded medical care, and dental caution. Some are treated as celebrities. Manson is a impeccable example.
When a self professed pedophile admits to crimes, and promises to verbs if released, how can we take the indiscriminate?
Ya think prison doesn't assist? Jail made a clear cut impression on me...I promised myself I would NEVER do anything that cause me to go put money on...Seems that is a skin where jail/prison worked as a detriment. Too commonly all we hear is stories of those who are repeat offender.how often do you hear stories of those who didn't step back? Who did transformation? Not as often as the other.
I am for the loss penalty.
gee whats wrong near kids these days
when i go to school i have to think for myself and put together my own asignments.
but fair adequate, to help u out a tiny bit,
within are NO good points just about the death cost WHAT SO EVER
This is an opportunity to be creative.
Thinning of the herd is the best judgment. Those who are caught red-handed can be eliminated since they are one and only takers. We can't afford to support the takers. Life is tough.
Now, develop your argument.
The benefits I see to the death cost are -
1. it provides an end and closure for the victims family
2. economic - it costs alot to incarcerate a person who will never again contribute to society
3. it guarantees that the executed individual will NEVER do it again ( escape or legal wrangling)
4. it is the with the sole purpose payment to society to be precise high satisfactory to recompense for some crimes( Oklahoma City for example)
I agree that it thins the troop, and provides less inhabitants that we taxpayers have to support, as they do nil but sit around and watch tv within air conditioned shelters.
No plea to keep someone sentenced to annihilation sitting around for 30+ years. Ron White said TX put in an express lane!
This is the tougher side. If your research is supposed to be certainty based you'll enjoy a hard time finding this.
However, you will find some impressively useful information at
http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/article.
which is specifically for students and debaters.
A couple of answers you enjoy received are wrong on the facts. The death penatly is not a deterrent. (No reputable study shows the annihilation penalty to be a deterrent. To be a deterrent a punishment must be sure and swift. The disappearance penalty is neither. Homicide rates are better in states and regions that enjoy it than in states that don’t.)
The passing penalty costs more than natural life without parole (mostly because of the decriminalized process, which is supposed to prevent executions of innocent people.)
My friend just get out of a abusive relationship they have two children together and now he's file custody
My friend just get out of a abusive relationship her and the guy own two kids together she ran for her life span and went to live beside her mom in Arizona when he found out he file for full custudy of the children which she never thought he would do now the consider is ordering her and the two children put a bet on to the state of New Jersey for a hearing she have no money to fly back and forth across country near 2 kids and had no place to stay and when she told the go-between that her ex boyfreind said that she has a brother contained by NJ which she does but he cant have her stay next to him right now because of his own house problems does she have to dance to new jersey to the audible range???????? The hearing is contained by less than 2 weeks someone please support !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Answers: She should retain an attorney. I know that money is an issue, but, truthfully, if she is not appropriately represented, she could lose a lot. Also, within most cases, the attorney should be able to appear for her, and, enjoy her via telephone. She should call for the judge and explain the situation and see if she can appear by phone. I would not dance without an attorney- even if I have to work 16 hours a day at McD's. Her kids are at risk. Ultimately, if within is a history of documented abuse (the police be called), the judge will more than potential find that it is not the best interest of the children to go to the abuser, however, if she isn't represented, she could lose.
The deem is ordering her how? By subpeona? If so, later check with the judge's bureau to see if she and the kids can be put into accommodations (usually similar to a Motel 6 or something) by the courts.
I doubt he subpeona'd her anyway, so no she doesn't have to progress, but will lose if she doesn't show.

Is anyone living a normal go after being convicted of DUI?
I'm wondering what energy is like after one convicted and serving punishment for a 2nd time misdemeaner DUI ? Do most people lose their mission and if so is there any hope to seize another decent employment. Can you rent an apartment, go to college or win a loan. Is it on your credit report?Answers: Yes, my life is astoundingly commonplace these days. Never lost a assignment although there be repercussions during the period in a jiffy after. DUI has nil whatsoever to do with your credit. Car insurance be high for a while.
NO IT FUCKEN SUCKS. i hold no life immediately. im like a lil little one looking for rides now. but woooo hoooooo i attain it back within one week after one year of not having it.
And your cridet will be fine. and unless u own a job that u hold to drive in after u will lose it fo sho
Assuming you stop drinking and driving, then you can organize a normal go. If your job is related to driving or if you spend time contained by jail and miss work, consequently you will probably lose your job. Otherwise, who care? As long as you do not drink anymore, who cares? It is a non-issue. You can rent an apartment, draw from a job, progress to college, etc.
However, there is a stigma attached to drunk driving, especially if you've have more than one DUI. Most people read one because most people own done it. However, once you have the second, population think you are an alcoholic, and they may be right. There is a road to get long-gone that stigma. First, join AA and stop drinking. (If you can't do that, afterwards you probably have a problem and should be within AA.) Second, in any errand interview, be open, thell them in the order of it, and also tell them you are immediately in AA and that you stopped drinking. It will kind the job interviewer gap, but it will also show that you are not hiding anything and that you took steps to fix your life.
Can anyone answer this please? HELP!!!?
My fiance was on probation and be caught with beer contained by our fridge that didnt belong to him but anyways thats not the point. He was charged next to a violation of probation. This is the first time he's violated probation. So, I be wondering what the maximum sentence is for a first time violation of probation contained by the state of New York??? Please help me!!Answers: The max he would frontage is the max of the crime he is on probation for. There is no minimum, the judge can merely let him stay on probatioin (it's call revoke and restore). The judge could afford him anything, or an alcohol program or anything like that. In determining what he bring, the judge will look at how long he have been doing okay on probation. If he just get on then that looks impossible, but if he has be on it for a while he will probably get a slap on the wrist.
Is he on probation for three years or five years? What is the underlying crime? If they violated him for that he may hold other violations you don't know roughly.
Harassment?
Does insulting someone over text message constitute bullying?Answers: Yes. if it makes the victim's existence unbearable, the object can (depending on the jurisdiction) seek a restraining directive.
Just once is not recognized as harrassment surrounded by most jurisdictions, but the content of the message can be assault (if damage is threatened). Usually it takes at least possible two occurences to create harrassment. Some jurisdictions require the instances to be "unprovoked," and "unprovoked' vary by jurisdiction. Once again, depending on jurisdiction, repeated harrassment constitutes stalking, a far more serious crime.
