Answers: I have done jury duty adequate to respect jury members. They are the best inhabitants available.

Never lie to your advocate. It makes it harder for him to touch your case if he does not know the correct facts. If you are exposed, you will not enjoy any credibility as a witness for yourself.

If it is a road for some of them to bring in some much needed bread to get their inhabitants back on their foot and out of the hole the government threw them surrounded by, great. I've never hear of the store asking for the fine, though. That sounds a little suspicious. They can ask her for the cost of the ring if she have it, but they don't have the authority to fine her. A fine would come from the courts.
Only government can impose fines. Sears may want $300 restitution for stolen merchandise or they will prosecute... Big companies usually don't folder charges unless they are sure of a conviction and have evidence to pay for up the charge. at the very smallest the parents should contact the manager and try to clear up the mess...
