Does surrendering personal liability also force the surrendering of personal Liberty?
When we started expecting the government to bring on our personal liabilities and responsibilities, did our personal liberty become lost as well?My premise in regard to our rights as citizens being eroded since the founding days, other follows our responsibilities being spellbound by government.

I own a medical condition that prevents me from working outside my home. I earn my entire meager living by writing articles and building websites.
At least 4 or 5 times a year I find someone who have simply duplicated one of my articles or sites at their own url. I'm the one who did the research. Answers: When you're country is in a period of war there will other be some restrictions because of security. Getting a set off between security and rights and freedoms is a straitlaced balancing stroke. Losing some freedoms and rights temporarily to win a war or combat an instantaneous terrorist threat is acceptable. But I want my protection forces, the military to have a free foot in doing what they own to do to end the period of war or crisis quickly and hold any restrictions put in place to be removed. Right immediately, however, the U.S. military is forced to fight next to one hand tied aft their back. You can't be the nice guy and win the time of war or stop terrorists. They only perceive you as lacklustre.
There is a tipping point. Complete Anarchy, for instance, means that the policy infringes on none of your rights and freedoms (cause it doesn't exist) - but, your neighbors /can/ infringe on those rights and freedoms by force if they feel approaching it, as there's no rule of law to stop them.
I noticeably prefer to err on the side of individual freedom, though. You need in recent times enough administration to maintain the rule of statute and avoid actual anarchy.
Ideally I'd like to live within a country with an equal amount of both. Everything is a situation of degree.

Could he file a directive suit against me for moral and emotional damages?
There is a guy, who is diabetic, within my work place that ask me to give him a copy of a documentary give or take a few exorcism. This video is freaking scary. I am thinking if his form gets worse as consequence of watching that, could he folder a law suit againts me for heartfelt and moral damages?
