Over 18 but under 21?
I be reading in my local composition how a party get busted. Some were underneath 18, some 18, 19, and 20, and a couple over 21. It seems that the 18-20 years olds get the short end of the stick. They get charged with underage drinking and contributing to the deliquency of a minor. This finances they will receive a greater punishment/fines than those over 21 who were singular charged with contributing. Is this the directive in most states contained by the U.S.? Do you feel this is f¨ºte? Don't get me wrong, they be breaking the law - but, come on...Answers: Yes it is the canon in most states (all I think)
The general public over 21 were individual breaking 1 law, contributing.

Yes it is open-minded. They committed the offense, they now bring to pay. Just go to prove that just because you are over 18 does not niggardly you act approaching an adult.
Well those OVER 21 cannot be charged near underage drinking - they are not underage.
The 18-20's were underage hence the underage drinking charge.

Good God, I can't believe we are now debating if it's OKAY to torture prisoners. I'm a conservative republican and I am 100% outraged. I grew up contained by a country that told us to be proud of the fact we don't torture other human beings as other countries do!.I basically saw a demostration of "waterboarding"..if you think this is okay contained by your judgement...you are one sick person!!

I'm a liberal democrat. I used to vote Republican though. I won't anymore. I cannot stand the Bush command. What a bunch of dangerous jerk they really are.
Of course I don't know what I am. My beliefs don't seem to be that different really. I'm not for welfare for example. I'm not for rewarding mediocrity. I realize our system is weak and some people don't come from faultless families. We are adjectives different. I support education and believe surrounded by government. But we the race need to acquire more involved. We cannot shirk our responsibilities. We need to catch out there and lecture ourselves as much as possible. We should be watching business closely to make sure they do the right things. If they don't after they should be punished severely. Now we condone torture. I don't vigilance if the Geneva Convention Rights don't cover non-military fighters, these rights were created for the devout of mankind.
And for the guy above me who said that torturing could save lives, most experts will let somebody know you that torture does not give you accurate information. Most population would say anything to get hold of the torture to stop. I would go so far to voice, if one innocent person is tortured while contained by American custody...then we enjoy become a criminal people.

Sexual Harrassment and Stress at Workplace - Employer does not care!?
I am working contained by the accounting firm for 6 years. In the past everyone get along very okay, lately it's a mess. 6 partners and 4 workforce including the secretary. Human right office advise me to write a letter to my employer after I already reported in words. The partners are closed to this guy, so they never replied to my dispatch as I requested their response in writing. The secretary is a especially religious, but a real lier and bitchy too. They group together watching my hour and said they are looking for a foundation to get me fire. I told the truth to my bosses along beside the witness of my other colleage. The man and the sec'try always created troubles for us. It's so stressful for me to be contained by this office environment. What should I do? I don't want to quit my opening because of these bad empire? I present my letter attention to this secretary & cc the HR to prove she lies. No axiom hello or goodbye, they are so rude. VERY SADAnswers: Your best course of action is almost no problem to look for a new opportunity, but its also important to get something about sexual nuisance law.
First, if your employer truly lone employs 10 culture (as opposed to 10 within your location), federal anti-discrimination law will possible not offer you any protection. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 single applies to employers who enrol at least 15 culture. Your state may have legislation that offer some protection when federal law does not apply. It is not a fitting practice to spend time complaining about things that are not clearly unlawful to your employer. (Complain away to friends and relations.) It weakens your legal complaints.
Finally, recognize that your employer's duty with good opinion to addressing sexual aggravation is just to stop it. They do not call for to keep you apprized of an investigation, or grant you any sort of response. They just hold to stop the sexual harassment.
Try not to verbs about what your employer may do just about your employment. Most employers will try to receive you to quit, rather than truly fire you. If they do decide to fire you, it will be out of your hand. So, go to work, do the best employment you can, keep devout notes, and look for other work. There is no cause to stay someplace where you are this miserable.
If you are terminated or if serious or pervasive sexual harassment persist after you have reported it, you may want to bring a charge of unlawful discrimination--if near is a law that applies to your employer.

I keep audible range a child crying, an adult screaming, and lots of bang noises from downstairs neighbor?
This former week it has be a lot noisier than usual from the neighbor who is below me (I live contained by an apartment). The TV has be on loud and I've heard lots of bang noises. For times past few days I have hear a child crying constantly... then I hear an grown woman screaming. I have already call the leasing office and they said they would steal care of it. At first I thought the child be locked in alone or something but after i began audible range an adult voice yell.When I have see the child outside playing, she is pretty little and pretty rambunctious... she may be a handful, but the noises really bother and upset me.
After I called the organization I was vacuuming and they started bang on the ceiling to tell me to stop... I am wondering if they suspect it be me who called the organization. What do I do, do I call the organization again? Should I call the police? How do I treaty with their wrath?
Answers: you should phone up your local social services office to create a report. you dont have to prove anything but you are required to report it. everyone is mandate to report any and all "suspected" invective but even above your civic duty to report, you could be the one that gets help out for the child. It doesnt matter if the child is a handful and near may be a very disturbing pretext why you observe her to be a bit wild/outta control, too. If you can't locate the number to your local social services organization, call the police and they will provide it to you. You can remain anonymous only dont remain a witness to possible mistreatment of a young, defenseless, innocent and extremely adjectives child among potentially harmful adults. Call today, if it iffy for the social worker to reveal their reporting source so just communicate them you do not want your name released. (they will want your identify only to be capable of contact you again in the adjectives if they seek optional info) but the neighbors will never know (they may try to trick you and make you meditate the social worker told to get you to own if they suspect it is you but you don't have to describe them anything!) good luck to you and God Bless you for charitable enough to help yourself to a stand against the possible abuse and laxity of children and for doing the right thing!! :)
I would phone the police, too. The people within the leasing office usually don't make available a crap as long as the rent's paid.
The police won't give an account them who called -- only just "a concerned neighbor".
You can call the police next to a clear conscience. Children are not able to maintain themselves, and they need oblige sometimes. I know that parents get more and more scrutiny for the bearing they discipline, and some of this is irrational, but if your neighbor is really a loving parent they will ultimately be grateful that you were looking out for their daughter, even if nil is wrong. And if something IS wrong, you could save the child's duration, no matter what the parent think of you. Of course, most times, even abusive parents are not MONSTERS, they are simply out of foot with their kids and obligation some help themselves. Unfortunately, sometimes the one and only way that things are considered serious is if they capture reported, investigated or arrested. This is often what it take for the family to achieve help.
You can also try to lend your support, lots of parents of toddlers find frazzled. You don't know what the family is dealing next to, even though there is no excuse for child swearing. Maybe just a variety word in the elevator, invite them over for a cup of coffee, or anything.
If calling the office hasn't worked and you really deliberate something bad is going on, after definately call the police. They can't utter who placed the call, and they can check things out and resolve if there's a domestic abuse problem scheduled. If there is, they hold the means to contact the right official to protect the little girl and help the family unit. Even if it's not what you're afraid it is, if nothing else a pop in from an officer might calm the thud down a bit and make the Mom not so high-speed to scream at her child.

edit: I be looking through some of the other answers, and the responses of talking to the Mother first truly make plentifully of sense. Can you ever hear WHAT she's screaming? It's true that parents get overly frustrated next to rambunctious kiddos, and every parent makes mistakes and wishes support. It's entirely up to you if you're comfortable talking to her though - and HOW you aproach her if you wish to. If you do, definately DON'T bring up the screaming and noise first rotten, you'll only trade name her defensive and she'll shut you out.
I assume you should call the police if you hear that, because conspicuously that means the fully developed is abusing a child. If you hear it again you should appointment. Also, maybe it would backing if you would talk to the full-grown. I know that might sound terrifying, but it helps. Here is a few question you can ask her: Are you divorced? Do you have a child? Can I see it?, and so on. But bring in sure you get to know her 1st! (and if she shows you the child, afterwards look and see if it has bruises, cuts,etc.) Also describe her about the noise you have be hearing contained by her apartment. If the baby have anything on it, then breed sure you tell the police in the region of the cuts, bruises,etc.

You can't register copyright to initials - trademark is what you mean, and they aren't interchangeable.
