MY MAN GOT INTO SOME TROUBLE IN IDAHO SERVED TIME THEN GOT PROBATION HE LIVES IN SPOKANE,WA THEY GAVE HIM AN INTERSTATE COMPACT.FOR SPOKANE.HE COME TO SPOKANE GOT INTO SOME MORE TROUBLE.THEN HE WENT TO PRISON.GOT OUT WENT THRUE REHAB HAS AN AWSOME JOB AND US HIS FAMILY HES BEEN DOING GREAT FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS HES BEEN OFF PROBATION IN WA, FOR OVER A YEAR.NOW IDAHO IS SAYING OH YOU HAVE A PROBATION VIOLATION ABOUT 2 YEARS OLD AND THEY HAVE ARRESTED HIM.EVEN AFTER THEY SEEN ALL THE CERTIFICATES OF GRADUATION OUT PATIENT,JOB VERIFICATION.EXT.HE HAS NOT BEEN IN ANY TROUBLE SINCE 2005,WHY WOULD IDAHO P.O DEP EVEN TAKE SOMEBODY THAT IS DOING GREAT.INSTED OF BEEN A PROBLEM?AND THIS REALY SHOWS HOW MUCH OF A MAN HE IS WHEN IDAHO CALLED HIS DADS.HIS DAD CALLD US.MY MAN GOT ON THE PHONE RITEAWAY.TO GET THE MATTER TAKEN CARE OF.THEY CALLED HIM BACK FINDLY.TWO WEEKS LATER.SET AN APP.THE NEXT DAY.WE WERE A HALF HOUR EARLY.THEN HE GOT ARRESTED.HOW MUCH TIME IS HE LOOKING AT?HOWCANTHISBEE?????Answers: A lot depends on what he was on probation for surrounded by Idaho. What may be happening is simply Idaho dotting some i's and crossing some t's. That is, they want to close out the case record, he has an outstanding warrant. A consider will have to vacate the warrant and close the thing. I suspect the judge will look at the certainty that your man has cleaned up his accomplishment and become a responsible citizen. The judge can extend the probation or merely say it's over and done next to.

Why is the mere possession of child porn punished so severely in this country?
One man, who be otherwise an upstanding citizen, had 20 pictures of child pornography on his computer (that he get off the internet) and be sentenced to 200 years for it. If that's not a travesty of justice, I don't know what is.Life surrounded by prison for a victim-less crime.

Witch hunt is right. And a 200 year sentence is not right, esp in need any priors. True, a rapist or murderer can get sour easier than this sentence for possession of 20 pictures. Ridiculous. This is NOT A VICTIMLESS CRIME. Somebody get kids to pose in sexual situations, and specifically always name-calling. As long as people are buying this crap, it will see the abuse of children.
Additionally, when you look at something approaching that over and over, it can almost "normalize" it to you, which means afterwards you thinks its "okay" to see children within a sexual way, which could head to even more abuse.
